Eric Neal Peterson (born October 2, 1947 in Indian Head, Saskatchewan) is a multiple award-winning Canadian stage, television, and film actor.

A very prominent name in Canadian film and television, Peterson is most famous for his roles on three iconic Canadian TV shows: the 1987 legal drama Street Legal (as left-wing lawyer Leon Robinovitch), the 2004 comedy Corner Gas (as Oscar Leroy, the father of protagonist Brent), and the 2004 legal dramedy This is Wonderland (as benevolent judge of the mental health court, Declan Malone). However, he actually started his career in stage theater during the 70s, establishing the Tamahnous Theatre Company in Vancouver, British Columbia and later gaining recognition for his Toronto performances. He's also done some animated voiceover work, such as in Netflix's True and the Rainbow Kingdom and several Nelvana productions.

He is married to fellow actor and People for Education executive director Annie Kidder.
