Duncan Elliott was an American actor and voice actor.

Acting-wise, he appeared in four different roles in the syndicated TV series Sherlock Holmes in 1954-1955, which was filmed in France and starred Ronald Howard and Howard Marion-Crawford as Holmes and Watson.

He worked in the European French dubbing industry despite having an American accent (quite a rarity). He most notably dubbed Gert Fröbe twice (Auric Goldfinger in Goldfinger and Baron Bomburst in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang) and Herbert Lom (as Commissioner Charles Dreyfus) in A Shot in the Dark.

Acting roles include:

  • Orient Express (1952 series) as the inspector
  • Sherlock Holmes (1954-1955 series) as Mr. Ross / Uncle Cecil / J. Oliver / Jack Driscol
  • Gentlemen Marry Brunettes (1955 sequel to Gentlemen Prefer Blondes) as the tailor
  • The Thief of Paris (1967) as the English fence
