Clay McLeod Chapman is an author, screenwriter, and comic book writer. He has written the books Whisper Down the Lane, The Remaking, and miss corpus, short story collections nothing untoward, commencement and rest area, as well as The Tribe middlegrade series. He is also the screenwriter of The Boy (2015), based on his book miss corpus.
Chapman has two upcoming projects he has written scripts for: Unknown, a psychological horror anthology series co-created by filmmaker Craig William Macneill, produced by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy at Kilter Films and Amazon Studios, and Wendell and Wild, a stop-motion animated fantasy horror comedy film directed by Henry Selick, from a script by Chapman, Selick, Jordan Peele, Keegan-Michael Key and starring Key and Peele, which is set to premiere in 2021 on Netflix.
Chapman has also written a number of comic books, mainly for Marvel Comics.
