Musical Tropes
- Auto-Tune: On "Treat Me", Chloe uses a vocoder throughout the song, it can most notably be heard on the outro. She later said that Imogen Heap, one of her favorite artists, was a major influence of the choice to use the vocoder.
- Boastful Rap: Chloe's debut solo single "Have Mercy", where she raps about her sex appeal.
- Cover Version: In 2021, Chloe released a cover of Nina Simone's song "Feeling Good".
- Freestyle Version: Chloe started to release several of these beginning in 2020, singing over the beats of popular songs for usually one verse. They are almost Cover Versions, although have some rewritten lyrics, making them more remixes/freestyles rather than straight covers.
- Gorgeous Gorgon: Chlöe's "Have Mercy" music video portrays her like this, where she seduces a man, and then turns him into stone at the end of the video.
- Hotter and Sexier: "Have Mercy" by Chlöe is much edgier and explicit than anything released from Chloe x Halle. Chlöe is full on Ms. Fanservice in the video as well.
- Three Minutes of Writhing: Chloe's "Have Mercy" music video sees her and several dancers dancing scantily clad in various settings including a yoga session.
