"I think that flaws are funny. I think that human flaws are funny. I'm never seeking to make people feel uncomfortable. I'm seeking to make people connect to a different part of themselves than they usually do from the day-to-day."
Brett Gelman (born October 6, 1976 in Highland Park, Illinois) is an American character actor. While not a household name, he's appeared in pretty much every film and television series in your hipster roommate's DVD collection...plus The Inbetweeners remake. He's immediately recognised by his bushy beard and cringe-comedy stylings, often playing socially inept weirdos as a result.

Tropes
- Cloudcuckoolander: He tends to play either conspiracy nuts or oddballs.
- Large Ham: His characters have a habit of yelling at inappropriate moments.
- No Social Skills: He's typically cast as jerkasses, but occasionally plays men who are straight-up inept.
- Younger Than They Look: He looks older than his actual age, but it's mostly the beard that makes him look older, as he looks closer to his own age when he keeps it trimmed.
