Anita Madeleine Harris, (3 June 1942), is a British actress, singer and presenter.
She had a talent for figure skating, and after being seen by a talent scout, she was given a chance to either skate in Paris or to go to Las Vegas and dance in a chorus line, with Harris accepting the latter.
When she returned to the UK, she performed with the Granadiers before joining the Cliff Adams Singers. She landed a recording contract at the age of 19 and her first single came out in October 1961.
In the late '60s, she made two major roles in the Carry On... Series - as Corktip in Follow That Camel and Nurse Clarke in Carry On Doctor.
In her later years, she has continued to appear on TV, both as a presenter and an actress.
