Angel Studios
is an American media company based in Provo, Utah that specializes in content primarily (but not exclusively) aimed at a conservative audience. Featuring mostly crowd-funded works and indie projects the studio has found surprising worldwide success nearly overnight with the release of the Sleeper Hit movie Sound of Freedom staring veteran Jesus actor Jim Caviezel in the lead role as Tim Ballard.
The platform is also known for its wide variety of Christian-themed and family-oriented programming such as The Chosen and Tuttle Twins. Much of its content is currently available for free on its official streaming service that can be found via phone app, computer browser, or smart TV.
Not to be confused with Rockstar San Diego, formerly known as Angel Studios, who are known for developing the Midnight Club and Red Dead Redemption series.
