- Arcadia: Rike’s home village of Streitberg, Germany.
- Captain's Log: Or rather, Personal Log. Rike is voicing out her stories prior to joining Starfleet in a series of personal logs.
- Caring Gardener: Rike grew up on a farm and for 30 years, tended to a flower and vegetable garden. She currently cares for her own personal collection of plants in her quarters as well as the botany lab.
- Encyclopaedic Knowledge: Of botany. Ask a question about plants and she has an hour lecture on that already prepared.
- Everything Sounds Smarter In German: Particularly when Rike speaks words of wisdom in German as opposed to Federation Standard.
- Inner Monologue: Often written out during the roleplay sim, which occasionally garners laughs from the players.
- Motor Mouth: An extension of Encyclopaedic Knowledge in which she can ramble about almost anything. People often have to interrupt her.
- Power Hair: Rike cut her hair shortly after joining Starfleet.
- Shorter Means Smarter: Not necessarily the smartest of everyone on the ship, but Rike is in charge of the botany lab on the USS Atlantis. Her subordinates generally have to literally look down to her.
- Stupid Good: Rike is overly forgiving and even seeks to help those who’ve harmed her.
- Thou Shalt Not Kill: Rike highly dislikes violence and would never personally partake in it, although she does understand that it happens especially since she is in Starfleet.

- Military Brat: Ryleigh is this through her dad, who's a Lt. Colonel in the Starfleet Marines, though he's long-since retired now from active service.
- Dad the Veteran: From her dad being a retired Veteran formerly in the service of the Starfleet Marine Corps.
- Disapproving Look: Ryleigh is a master of this, due to being the only relatively-sane person among her friend group back in school.
- Girly Girl with a Tomboy Streak:
- Friendship as Courtship: Ryleigh and her husband, Ethan. Their families have known each other, but they met in middle school and ended up getting into a relationship, eventually marrying before Ryleigh's second promotion among the crew of the Atlantis.
- Telescoping Staff: This is her preferred weapon, but she can fight hand-to-hand as well.
- High-School Sweethearts: Her and Ethan. They're technically Middle school and High school sweethearts, though not college seeing that they attended two different campuses.
- Training from Hell: Her Marine training. She swears they were trying to kill her even to this day.

- Daddy's Girl: Linxi joined Starfleet partially because of her dad.
- Drowning My Sorrows: Before Linxi started therapy with Endilev.
- Hates Being Alone: As a Betazoid, Linxi is used to the white noise of the existence of other peoples' thoughts in the back of her mind. When on a planet with very few people, it is deafening silence to her.
- Hates Wearing Dresses: Leather jackets and jeans, please!
- Just Friends: Linxi has friend-zoned her best friend from the Academy.
- Not Wanting Kids Is Weird: Her mother constantly asks Linxi when she is going to have grandchildren. Linxi always insists that she is not having biological children.
- Parental Neglect: With her mom. Her mother practically ignored the actual care of Linxi growing up, leaving those duties to fall on her father who is a Starfleet engineer.
- Platonic Life-Partners: With her friend of over 20 years, Janasx Prast.
- Rank Up: Linxi started as an Ensign and is now a Lieutenant.
- Telepathy: Due to being a full Betazoid.
- Terrible Pick-Up Lines: "Nice. Dress." to T'Lira. Somehow, even the GM ships them.
