Species: Sangheili

Appearances: Border War | Revolution | The Last War

Voiced by: Jacob Whittington

A Fleetmaster that begins the third war with humanity on Reach.
  • Bad Guys Do the Dirty Work: He's the one who kills off the corrupt 'Sumon after getting fed up with his failures.
  • Big Bad: For the Reach trilogy, as the source of conflict that ignites a third war between humanity and the Sangheili.
  • Combat Pragmatist: 'Krudom doesn't abide by the traditional Sangheili code of honor, and thus isn't above using weapons and relying on Honor Guards to fight alongside him in a duel. This is what enables him to kill 'Nostrom.
  • Evil Sounds Deep: Speaks in a low, booming voice.
  • Fantastic Racism: He has a very low opinion of humanity, a sentiment echoed by the many soldiers loyal to him.
  • Greater-Scope Villain: For the Tales of the Reach Trilogy. His actions encompass the events of the anthology but is otherwise uninvolved.
  • Hero Killer: While responsible for all deaths in the war, he's personally killed Terrence and 'Nostrom.
  • Kick the Dog: Despite 'Kosos being an unbearable Smug Snake, he was genuinely loyal to 'Krudom and didn't see his betrayal coming. 'Krudom coldly leaves him to die to bait 'Nostrom into a trap.
  • Rank Scales with Asskicking: While he may fight dirty, the Fleetmaster is still a capable warrior in his own right, befitting the rank.
  • This Cannot Be!: The fact that Katherine, a lone human, manages to put a stop to his plans sparks this reaction out of him.
  • Villain: Exit, Stage Left: 'Nostrom almost gets him in Revolution but he manages to escape and continue terrorizing Reach in the The Last War.
  • You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: He uses 'Kosos as bait to lure 'Nostrom into a trap, then leaves him to die.

Species: Sangheili

Appearances: Border War | Revolution

Voiced by: Jacob Whittington

A corrupt Sangheili ambassador affiliated with the Fleetmaster.
  • The Dragon: He was 'Krudom's first second in command at the start of the trilogy.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: 'Sumon can go from pleasant and cordial to raging volumes of fury at an unprecedented rate, best highlighted by his praise of 'Nostrom evaporating into outrage upon seeing human prisoners.
  • Mood-Swinger: His mood changes on a dime. His praise of 'Nostrom's men and conduct ends up drowned in screaming rage as soon as he sees a group of humans that were spared by 'Nostrom.
  • This Is Gonna Suck: After cornering Davis, he yells in no uncertain terms that his master is going to pissed when he finds out what just happened. Not that Davis cared anyway.
  • Villainous Breakdown: He's pretty smug and confident up until Davis damages the doomsday weapon he was tasked with deploying, which causes him to lose all semblance of composure.
  • You Have Failed Me: 'Krudom doesn't take his failure to prevent Davis from damaging their doomsday weapon very well. He tries to sweet talk his way out of his predicament, but 'Krudom doesn't want to hear it.

Species: Sangheili

Appearances: Revolution

Voiced by: Jacob Whittington

The Fleetmaster's new second-in-command after the death of 'Sumon.
  • Dirty Coward: He's not particularly brave, often turning tail and rinning the second he's forced to fight on even terms. However, he doesn't beg for mercy after being betrayed by 'Krudom, and actually requests death, believing he doesn't deserve to live.
  • The Dragon: Succeeds 'Sumon as 'Krudom's right-hand for the second installment of the Reach Trilogy, Revolution. Unfortunately, he doesn't last much longer.
  • Face Death with Dignity: He realizes the error of his ways after 'Krudom betrays him and actually requests to be executed.
  • Redemption Equals Death: Only in his final moments, after being betrayed by 'Krudom, does he realize 'Nostrom was right. He asks to be put to death, as he no longer deserves to live. Because he repented, 'Nostrom complies.
  • Unwitting Pawn: He was ultimately bait to lure 'Nostrom into a trap, and is left to die once he's fulfilled his purpose.

Species: Sangheili

Appearances: The Last War

A Sangheili lieutenant serving the Fleetmaster, acting as the foreman of a spire.
  • Arc Villain: Taking down his spire makes him the primary antagonist for episodes 1-4 of The Last War.
  • Mook Lieutenant: He's ultimately quite low on the totem pole, acting as a glorified foreman of the spire.

Species: Sangheili

Appearances: Domino Effect

Voiced by: Riley Mikesell

  • Boom, Headshot!: He inflicts this on his brother with a shotgun, but unfortunately meets this fate himself at Terrence's hand when he mistook him for another hostile.
  • Cain and Abel: The more honorable Abel to Nor's ruthless Cain.
  • Nice Guy: Compared to Nor, he's far more honorable and less hostile to humans, being willing to spare noncombatants.
  • No Good Deed Goes Unpunished: He tries to do the right thing by stopping his brother from killing a civilian. But Terrence mistakes him for another enemy and shoots him dead right as he kills his brother.
  • Shotguns Are Just Better: More out of curiosity, he picks up Mark's shotgun for himself. Chronologically, he's the second main character to acquire it, before Terrence picks it up.
  • Token Good Teammate: Out of all the Fleetmaster's soldiers, 'Kos is the only one who is relatively good-hearted and abhors senseless slaughter of the innocent.
  • Too Good for This Sinful Earth: A generally decent Sangheili who dies trying to do the right thing and save a citizen from his brother.

Species: Sangheili

Appearances: Domino Effect

Voiced by: Adam Kiser

  • Cain and Abel: The far more ruthless Cain to Kos's honorable Abel.
  • Big Brother Bully: Towards 'Kos, as he constantly belittles him and treats him as naive.
  • Boom, Headshot!: At the hands of his brother after he callously executes a civilian.
  • Et Tu, Brute?: Towards Kos for raising arms against his own blood to protect an unarmed human from him.
  • Evil Sounds Deep: He speaks in a low, aggressive voice to contrast 'Kos's more gentle deep voice.
  • Fantastic Racism: He deems humans as a lesser species and his willingness to execute unarmed civilians drives a rift between him and his brother.
  • Hidden Depths: When admonishing 'Kos for holding a human weapon, he corrects his brother by revealing it's a shotgun, which implies he also used to examine human weapons out of curiosity.
  • Jerkass: A racist, dishonorable Elite who openly relishes at the chance to kill unarmed civlians.
