A Sangheili Field Marshall who served Fleetmaster 'Krudom until he became disillusioned with 'Krudom's brutality and defected to form the Separatist movement.- Berserk Button: He tolerates Katherine's Fantastic Racism towards him and his troops, likely understanding the Spartan has good reason to hate Sangheli. However, the moment she questions as to what they know of honor, that's when 'Nostrom snaps.
- Big Good: For the Separatists in Revolution. He continues the role for Katherine and Phoenix Team in The Last War.
- Defector from Decadence: While a competent officer, 'Nostrom grew resentful of 'Krudom's brutality and the Fantastic Racism he bred through the ranks. After sparing a group of humans, he is publicly shamed and stripped of his colors, which pushes him to rebel against the Fleetmaster.
- Honor Before Reason: Deconstructed. 'Nostrom abides by the Sangheili's code of honor, which dictates a fair duel between combatants. Unfortunately for him, 'Krudom exploits this to lure him into a sword fight, only to gun him down when he comes close to defeating the Fleetmaster.
- Take Up My Sword: Moments before he succumbs to his wounds, 'Nostrom gives Katherine his shotgun.
