  • Bernice Summerfield is an Adventurer Archaeologist, and one of the main protagonists of The Rift Effect. She seems to have a habit of getting into ridiculous and bizarre situations, and is pretty much used to that sort of thing by now. She's a confirmed Deadpan Snarker and a bit of an alcoholic.
