* MeaningfulFuneral: Fan opinions on her death and the purpose it served are... ''divided'', but her funeral is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful and moving scenes in the entire series, with Sam reading out a list of all the people she's saved in her role as the CMO that Teal'c put together.

* SuddenNameChange: He started as a [[MauveShirt glorified extra]] who did nothing but call out which chevrons on the stargate had engaged, so his name wasn't seen as important to the show, but he stuck around long enough to become an AscendedExtra by season 4. Initially he wore the nametape "Norman Davis", but then Creator/RichardDeanAnderson (O'Neill) [[ThrowItIn ad-libbed his name as "Walter"]] in "2010" (possibly he got the line wrong and it wasn't caught). Then "Walter Davis" was changed to "Walter Harriman" because he shared his name with an actual US Air Force sergeant: the name Harriman was apparently picked because Creator/DonSDavis (Hammond) called him "Airman" in "There But for the Grace of God", which sounded like "Harriman" because of Davis's accent.

* IHaveManyNames: The show simply couldn't decide what his name was. The Stargate wiki went with "Norman Walter Davis Harriman".

* TheEngineer

Senior officer aboard the ''Prometheus'', and later the ''Odyssey''. Served a similar role to Walter, only InSpace. Never a major player, but notable for serving on every American owned battlecruiser at least once and being one of only eight characters to appear in all three series.

* HollywoodNerd: Apparently he's not very successful with women, which is rather hard to believe given the attractiveness of the actor playing him.

* TheCameo: Shows up very briefly in the ''Series/StargateUniverse'' pilot when Dr. Rush body switches with him. It makes Lee one of the few characters to appear in all three series.

During a training scenario, when she and the other new recruits were faced with Carter and Daniel pointing guns at each other and accusing the other of being a Goa'uld, she refused to believe Daniel was a Goa'uld because "she thinks he's cute."

For some reason, never appeared in the opening credits despite effectively being a regular. The SGC's medical officer, she often saved SGC members and aliens from the brink of death. She was a nurturing, motherly figure, best expressed when she adopted the alien girl Cassandra. Became Samantha Carter's best friend. [[DroppedABridgeOnHim Had a bridge dropped on her]] in the season 7 two-parter [[Recap/StargateSG1S7E18HeroesPart2 "Heroes."]] She was eventually succeeded by Dr. Carolyn Lam in Season 9.
