    Rav

Rav

Species: Feeorin

A pirate allied with the One Sith and the Sith Empire.

    Zareb Syn

Zareb Syn

Species: Human

A pirate that was friends with Rav and was the father of Jariah. He was killed by Jedi Master Rasi Tuum while his young son watched, causing Jariah to grow a grudge against Jedi.

  • Asshole Victim: He dealt in piracy, was butchered by a Jedi, and it couldn't have happened to a better person.
  • Bald of Evil: In contrast to his son, he had a shaved head.
  • Death by Origin Story: Died when his son was still young.
  • Deceased Parents Are the Best: Averted. Jariah thought that he was a good man murdered by a Jedi, though he later learns that this wasn't the case, because Tuum was protecting people that Zareb was harming.
  • The Dragon: Was this to Rav.

    Karness Muur

Karness Muur

Species: Unknown

One of the ancient fallen Jedi exiled from the Republic after the Hundred-Year Darkness, and an original-generation Sith Lord. His consciousness survived his body's death preserved within his talisman, and he would seek out any powerful force-sensitive to take as a host.

By the time of the Legacy-era, he's spent the last 160 years locked in a battle of wills with his current host, Celeste Morne.

  • Evil Sorcerer: His knowledge of Sith alchemy created the rakghouls.
  • Grand Theft Me: He can take control of anyone who puts on the Muur Talisman, though people with sufficiently strong wills can resist him and retain control of their bodies.
  • Maker of Monsters: He created many kinds of Sithspawn, most notably the rakghouls. His talisman can transform large numbers of non-Force-sensitive people into rakghouls that will obey his commands.
  • Predecessor Villain: He helped found the Sith Empire alongside the other exiles, making him this to almost every other villain in the franchise.
  • Soul Jar: The Muur Talisman contains his spirit, allowing him to remain active long after his physical death. When Cade destroys the Talisman, Muur's spirit is likewise obliterated.
  • Villainous Breakdown: Can only howl in impotent rage when Cade destroys the talisman.

    Celeste Morne

Species: Human

Homeworld: Ossus

A Jedi Knight from the time of the Mandalorian Wars from the Old Republic's reign. Imprisoned in stasis for 4000 years, she will stop at nothing to safeguard the ancient Muur Talisman, and prevent its creator, Karness Muur, from being unleashed upon the galaxy again.

She was the main character of Vector, a storyline that crossed over with numerous Star Wars comic book lines at the time.

  • And I Must Scream: Four thousand years in what amounts to a Sith torture coffin, twenty stranded on a barren moon, and another 140 on an empty ship in deep space, with an evil ghost fighting her for control every minute.
  • The Beastmaster: She controls Rakghouls via the talisman.
  • Death Seeker: Centuries of captivity with a Sith Lord in her head have left her longing for the end.
  • Died Happily Ever After: She finally gets her Mercy Kill from Cade, and moments before her death has a vision of Zayne. She dies sensing that her old friend had sent someone for her after all. He had sent Cade.
  • Heroic Willpower: Almost 160 years pass between being woken up by Vader and her encounter with Cade. She's been resisting Muur's attempts to control her body for all that time, and it's only when she sees Cade resist the dark side successfully that she gives Cade the talisman.
  • Last of Her Kind: While not exactly brought up, she is this on multiple accounts: She's the last surviving member of the pre-Ruusan Jedi Order (though not the last member of the pre-Order 66 Jedi Order, K'Kruhk and T'ra Saa outlive her), and is thus also the last member of the Jedi Covenant.
  • Mercy Kill: On the receiving end courtesy of Cade.
  • No Immortal Inertia: Her body crumbles into dust immediately after she dies.
  • Really 700 Years Old: She comes out of stasis a few months after the end of the Clone Wars. She looks exactly the same when she dies, a century-and-a-half later; the talisman having kept her young. And that's not even accounting for the 4000 years she spent in stasis.

    Luke Skywalker

Luke Skywalker

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/29b4c37d_34ba_4cee_9e71_3bed41599b48.jpeg

Having passed away from old age, Luke appears to Cade after the Massacre at Ossus in an attempt to guide him back to the light, which proves to be a challenge.

  • Ascended to a Higher Plane of Existence: He's a Force ghost. The time and nature of his death remain a mystery, but it's obvious that after 137 years since he started his adventures, even if he wasn't killed he would have probably died of old age.
  • But Thou Must!: Cade's opinion on his insistence that he must become a Jedi and a hero, much to his annoyance.
  • The Conscience: Tries to be this for Cade, with little success at first.
  • Posthumous Character: Luke's only present as a ghost who tries to help his descendants, which makes sense as he probably died of old age years ago.
  • Spirit Advisor: Luke takes on this role for Cade, much like how Obi-Wan was to him. Not that Cade wants any of his advice...
