Speed Buggy
- Voiced by: Mel Blanc
- Badass Adorable: Speed Buggy rarely has his moments.
- Catchphrase: "Roger dodger!" and "Va-room-a-zoom-zoom!"
- Cool Car: He is a dune buggy that can transform into a Submarine and a Helicopter. Also, he never lost a race he was in despite competing against race cars.
- Innocent Blue Eyes: He has blue eyes and is quite possibly the nicest talking car you will ever meet.
- Lovable Coward: Though he can come off as cowardly at times, he is well-meaning. Although for comparison's sake, Speedy braves up far more often than Scooby Doo did.
- Nice Guy: Speed Buggy is generally friendly and good-natured.
- Sentient Vehicle: He is a talking car.
Tinker
- Voiced by: Phil Luther Jr.
- Expy: Picture Shaggy Rogers as a mechanic, he even wears green much like Shaggy does.
- Grease Monkey: He's Speed Buggy's mechanic.
- Goggles Do Nothing: His goggles exist just to be there.
- Lovable Coward: It should be expected given he's based on Shaggy Rogers.
- Nice Guy: He's a friendly guy.
- Recycled Animation: Reuses Shaggy's entire walk and run cycle while crossing over with Scooby Doo.
Debbie
- Voiced by: Arlene Golonka
- Expy: Picture Daphne Blake as a racecar driver and you have Debbie. She's also the leader of the Buggy Gang, which indirectly makes her a partial copy of Fred who's the leader of the Mystery Inc. Gang note
- Girly Girl with a Tomboy Streak: Debbie is not above some stereotypical girly behaviors but let that not distract you she hangs out in a garage with boys and a talking car and has no problem going head on into danger with some sass on the side.
- The Leader: Debbie is actually the leader of this group despite being the only female. The boys usually go along with her instructions. This is even lampshaded in the Amazon episode where the Amazon leader insists now Debbie can tell the men what to do, which Mark and Tinker try to explain sometimes they are lucky to get a word in edgewise.
- Nice Girl: Generally a good natured girl.
- Recycled Animation: Reuses Daphne's walk and run cycle when she and the Buggy Gang meet the Mystery Inc. Gang in The New Scooby-Doo Movies.
Mark
- Voiced by: Michael Bell
- Expy: Basically picture Fred, but with Velma's intelligence and you have Mark. He also wears a white shirt, much like Fred does.
- The All-American Boy: He generally fits this stereotype of a guy his age.
- The Generic Guy: There is not much to him.
- Nice Guy: He's also a friendly guy.
- The Smart Guy: He's the brains of the group.
- Recycled Animation: Like with Tinker and Debbie, he once again reuses Fred's walk and run cycle when he appears alongside the Mystery Inc. Gang.
