Crew of the Sol Bianca
April Bikirk
The overall protagonist of the series. In the original series, she is the first officer of the Sol Bianca, while in The Legacy she is the captain. Despite being a pirate, she has a great sense of honor and will help those in need- especially if there is treasure involved. She is protective of her crew.
Feb Fall
Captain of the Sol Bianca and the oldest of the group. She and April discovered the ship, and have stuck together ever since. She can fight but prefers negotiations and strategy.
Janny/Jenny Mann
The ship's weapons expert. Hot-tempered and foul-mouthed, she has little patience for other people acting stupid, especially June who she often argues with.
June Ashel
The ship's computer expert. A bratty teen who fusses over her looks, she clashes with Janny frequently. She has a sisterly relationship with May, and has some sort of empathetic link to G.
May/Mayo Jessica
The ship's chief engineer and maintenance person. She is also the youngest of the crew, and looks up to the other, older members, especially June. In The Legacy, she is a stowaway who meets the crew while hiding on their ship, and convinces them to take her to her parents on Earth.
G
The ship's AI. She seems to have some form of sentience, and though she doesn't speak, she is empathetically linked to June and has some bond with her.
Sancho
An AI resembling a genie who is generated from G, appearing in Episode 2 of The Legacy. June uses him as an assistant and has him access and manipulate other computer systems. He is very polite and loyal to his "lady", though he wishes she would be more cooperative with him.
Original Series Characters
OVA 1
Rim Delapaz
A stowaway boy who hops aboard the Sol Bianca and asks the crew to take him to Trez. He desires to see his parents, but bonds with the crew as the journey progresses.
- Tagalong Kid: He hangs out with the Sol Bianca pirates despite his young age after he is caught stowing away in their ship.
Dr. Melanion Delapaz
Rim's father and a leader in the Uno resistance who works with the others to fight Emperor Batros's occupation.
Emperor Batros
The dictator of the planets Trez and Uno and the antagonist of the first OVA. He wants to expand his rule to the whole galaxy, and so desires to get the Sol Bianca from its owners. His regime is marked by brutality and cruelty, inflicted on the citizens for his own sadistic amusement.
- Big Bad: Of the first OVA, as the dictator of Trez and Uno who wants the Sol Bianca ship to conquer the galaxy.
- Dirty Coward: He has all his minions do the physical work and fighting for him; when they are all beaten and April is standing right in front of him with a weapon, he turns into a scared crybaby.
- The Emperor: Of planet Trez. He is the typical Evil Overlord space emperor who oppresses his citizens and, in the climax, attempts to destroy a planet.
- Evil Overlord: He holds public executions daily for any resistance sympathizers and orders military occupation of the neighboring planet so he can spread his oppression there.
- Galactic Conqueror: He already rules two planets and aims to take over the rest of the galaxy by acquiring the powerful Sol Bianca ship.
- Kick the Dog: Most of his crimes have a clear purpose as oppressing his enemies or taking women to freeze as trophies, but he then promises to show Rim his mother who he has been searching for, and shows Rim his frozen mother, bringing him to tears. Rim poses no threat to him whatsoever, so he basically did this just to make the kid suffer.
- Sadist: He very much takes joy in hurting people with his massive power, smirking when witnessing executions and showing off Rim's frozen mother to him just to make him cry so he can mock him about it.
- Smug Snake: He tries to make himself look like a powerful, undefeatable dictator, and keeps up this image for most of the story. But when April breaks into his chamber and has taken out all his minions, he screams and cries while begging her to spare his life.
- Villainous Breakdown: When April finally busts into his throne chamber, he becomes a pathetic, screeching and sobbing wreck who has to beg her to spare him. Even when she does, he silently marches over to the control room and tries to destroy April, her crew, and all of planet Uno.
- Villains Want Mercy: After all his executions and general despotism, he is reduced to begging for his life when April finds her way to him.
OVA 2
Gomez
The leader of a rival gang of space pirates and the antagonist of Sol Bianca 2. He wants to steal the precious substance Pasha, but when the heroines get it instead, he vows to destroy them.
Yuri Shuraba
A mysterious man who claims to be from April and Feb's past.

The Admiral
The leader of the Terran Federation army who wants to capture the Sol Bianca ships from the pirates, no matter how many deaths he brings about, for he feels that the ship belongs to the Earth.
Captain/Colonel Giunter
A leader in the Terran Federation who is sent by the Admiral to capture the Sol Bianca.
