This is a character sheet for '"Sofia Day And Night''.

Borislav ("Bobby")

The landlord of the flat, also owns a garage.
  • Amicable Exes: Averted with his ex-wife. They irritate the hell put of each other, constantly fight about their daughter and almost never agree on anything.
  • Doting Parent: Bobby has been away from his daughter for 18 years and is now resolved to make up for it. Despite being a gruff guy, he's actually the softer, kinder parent. He tries to support his daughter as best as he can and even if sometimes his liberal methods backfire, she appreciates it a lot.
  • Gentle Giant: Bobby is a huge, muscular, tattooed, intimidating guy, but he can be very tender and reassuring to anyone who needs it. At the same time, he can be downright scary when he raises his voice or starts throwing punches, but he mostly doesn't have to.
  • Team Dad: Bobby is the Reasonable Authority Figure who sorts problems out and whose authority everyone acknowledges, but sometimes each of the tenants act like they're his unruly kids.

Sophia

A longtime friend of Bobby and the accountant at his garage.
  • Broken Bird: Sophia has been through a lot, which has made her extremely cynical, but she's always been a very nice person unless she spots someone acting suspicious.
  • Only Sane Woman: She's the only one in the group to consistently retain her common sense and not let anything get to her head.
  • Team Mom: She's the oldest and more mature of the tenants, bar Bobby. She plays the reasonable, caring family member to each of them, even him at times.
  • Unlucky In Love: Sophia doesn't have much luck with either men or women. Her ex-husband was an abuser, many of the women she hooks up with are simply Bi Curious and men either repulse her shortly after she meets them or majorly let her down later when she attempts a serious relationship.

Daniel ("Danny")

A gym instructor with a passion for photography.

Raya

Danny's ex-girlfriend from their hometown of Lom, now a dancing instructor who moved to Sofia at Danny's invitation.

Sabina ("Ina")

A girl from the flat who works as a waitress at an elite bar.
  • Broken Bird: Ina is a very bitter person, but it's revealed that she has been through a lot. She fled from her oppresssive home in the small town of Zlatograd where she was treated like dirt and would have been married off to an older man not of her choosing and had to work for everything she has.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: She hates Raya since the moment they met, because she has a crush on Danny. In general, she tends to envy the successes of others while complaining that years of working a menial job got her nothing.
  • Light Feminine Dark Feminine: With Polly (visually speaking, Polly is blond and Ina is black-haired). The two are friends, but whereas Polly is kind and friendly but also spoiled, Ina is a lot grumpier towards people, envious but also hardworking and cynical about life which makes her better prepared for any unpleasant situations.

Polina ("Polly)

A girl with a passion for singing.
  • Spoiled Sweet: Polly is a genuinely nice, kind person, but sometimes falls into thinking that she should be treated like a princess or that she should have everything handed to her.

Nikola ("Koko")

The youngest of the roommates, a guy just out of his teens who's trying his best to earn money without working.
  • Casanova Wannabe: Koko thinks he's a magnet for women. Women in general disagree.
  • Dumbass Teenage Son: He's not Bobby's biological son, nor is he still in his teens, but might as well be. He's immature and can't think straight when it's about money or women, which is alla he ever thinks about.
  • Get-Rich-Quick Scheme: Koko will concoct any of those, just so he can avoid working: writing a "lazy" cookbook, starting a "lazy" vlog, stealing pet dogs to get the reward, making jewels out of random stuff, writing a book about himself and the apartment. It always fails, he never learns and everyone always knows and tries in vain to warn him to stop.
  • Lovable Rogue: He's shallow, selfish, lazy, immature, overconfident and often gets the group in trouble. But he's charming and funny, so no one can stay mad at him.
  • The Slacker: Koko is extremely lazy. He takes several month to find a job and only when Bobby has to kick him out unless he does, so he can pay rent. Then he flakes off after a short time and takes any opportunity to earn money without working hard.
