Lee (李一)
贪婪
A boy who has inherited the Greed sin. After needing money to cure his grandmother from her heart condition, he has grown greedier.- Color-Coded Characters: He is associated with Gold, since his sin is Greed.
- From Nobody to Nightmare: He was originally just a normal boy with an ill grandmother. When tempted with money from his demon, he killed a woman and came to believe that he's nothing without greed.
Lacy (蓝莓)
嫉妒
A woman who has inherited the Envy sin. The demon had ruled her life when she believed that her best friend was secretly leaving her. She had seemingly killed it, but it still tries regaining control.- Color-Coded Characters: Purple.
- Edible Theme Naming: Her original name means 'blueberry'.
- Green-Eyed Monster: Comes with inheriting the Envy sin. Curiously enough, it isn't her motif as her color is the exact opposite color of green (purple).
- Murder the Hypotenuse: Tried this.
Anya (阿怡)
色欲
A woman who has inherited the Lust sin. She was betraying her husband in order to flirt with others, but it still wasn't enough. Yet her husband remained her most true partner. After it was revealed to him, he decided to break up.- All Women Are Lustful: Comes with inheriting the Lust sin.
- Color-Coded Characters: Pink.
Liz (丽丽)
暴食
A woman who has inherited the Gluttony sin. This demon was passed on by her by Jenny, a friend of hers who gladly did that.- Big Beautiful Woman: Is one.
- Color-Coded Characters: Orange.
Pisces (小鱼)
惰怠
A girl who has inherited the Sloth sin. She was born into a rich family, but lost everything when her parents died. Because she was young and lazy, she didn't manage to bring honor to her family and eventually ended up in the streets.- Brainless Beauty: Is accused to be this. However, that's not entirely true...
- Color-Coded Characters: Blue/teal.
- The Determinator: She's determined to use the game to get her honor back. She even killed her demon for that, or at least, suppressed it.
- Manipulative Bastard: Uses Lee to eliminate the people she considers a threat.
- Morality Pet: To Luke. When it is revealed that Lee killed Luke's sister, the latter is about to go into a rage and threatens to kill Lee. She initially points Luke to the fact that violence is forbidden in the game, but that as that doesn't seem to stop Luke, Pisces asks him if Beth would have wanted him to die as a result of violating that rule and says that he wouldn't get her back with attacking Lee. This is just one of their interactions in which she does such a thing.
- Obfuscating Stupidity: Guilty of this.
- Older Than She Looks: She's 22.
- Sleepyhead/Lazy Bum: Comes with inheriting the Sloth sin. Especially apparent in the first game, in which everyone is allowed one minute to talk with eachother. When it was Pisces' turn, they said to let her sleep.
- Stellar Name: Named after the fish constellation 'because they wanted [her] to wander in the water like a small fish, and have a carefree life'.
- The Unfettered: Oh, Pisces...
Detective Teacup (茶杯)
傲慢
A detective who has inherited the Pride sin. Once 'condemned' a lady in a game show and accused her of being a prostitute. The lady in question had always been pestered with that while it wasn't true, leading her to kill herself.- Color-Coded Characters: Jade.
- Dark and Troubled Past: Is the son of a rich father and a prostitute mother. His mother (or rather, what he thought was his mother) sold him to abusers as soon as he was born, which is where he got scars. One day, he played dead and because they didn't actually want him dead (profits would be gone) they got him to a doctor, from which point his life started to become better and he became a detective in order to find out who his parents were. He did, although this point was his Start of Darkness.
- Good Scars, Evil Scars: His torso is littered with them.
- Loop Hole Abuse: He finds out that there are five minutes in which the camera in one certain room doesn't work, in order to perform maintenance. He uses this to dive deep into the nature of the game and finds out that the eliminated people aren't dead, but kept as a Human Popsicle. In order to prevent their secret conversation from being lip-read, he hides under the sheets with Lacy. Confusion from Landon ensues.
- Miles Gloriosus: Comes with inheriting the Pride sin. He's implied to only be a detective for show, but he does play The Smart Guy listed below.
- Only Known by Their Nickname: His real name (hopefully) isn't Teacup. It's Charlie.
- Never My Fault: How he got around that lady's suicide.
- The Smart Guy: He's a detective who usually comes up with tactics on how to play the minigames.
Luke (鹿子)
愤怒
A man who has inherited the Wrath sin. A quick-to-anger guy who has been in numerous problems due to his personality and behavior.- Color-Coded Characters: Burgundy.
- Fiery Redhead: His actual hair is likely black, but the comic style always adds strands of their theme color in their hair, making him seem like a redhead. He definately is this, though.
- Good Scars, Evil Scars: Pisces sees that his neck is ridden with scars - scratches, cuts and even bite marks after persuading Anya.
- Hair-Trigger Temper: Comes with inheriting the Wrath sin.
- Ironic Name: Not his translated name, but his original name translates to 'deer'.
- Red Is Violent: His theme color.
- Who Will Bell the Cat?: Falls victim to this in the second game. Having realized that Lee has stolen Pisces' Hearts of Resurrection and after some twists and turns, they come to the conclusion that they have to try to get Anya on their side. And since Anya has, well, inherited the Lust sin, sending Pisces or Lacy will be ineffective note and Anya has shown her distaste in the Detective, Luke is the one who has to persuade her.
- Unstoppable Rage: Whenever he gets into a rampage/tantrum. However, Pisces was capable of calming him down from the most recent one.
