But after doing so for more than five millennia, she'd grown weary of it and longed to be reunited with her long-dead siblings.

* StockholmSyndrome: She hits all the points for a textbook case: she's kidnapped by Christopher and threatened with death if Shannon didn't show up. Christopher letting her leave after Shannon defeated him, coupled with the former revealing a little bit about his life to her and giving them common ground, led to her falling in love with him. It helps that at his worst, Christopher was a [[NobleDemon noble Anti-Villain]] who bore her no real ill will, and he lightened up to both her and the Casulls considerably after the Peacemaker attack on Taurus.

* DeclarationOfProtection: The man said he wanted power enough to smash fate, even if it meant defying Mauser [[spoiler:[[GenderMisdirection herself]]]] in order to protect his sister. You better believe he meant it. Every word.

* GenderMisdirection: For much of the series, she's referred to as either: "Lord God, Mauser", or simply by name only. It even sounds masculine. So Pacifica was surprised to find out that their god was really a woman... who happened to look like an older version of herself!
