The homeroom teacher of Class 2-B, Kyousuke is someone who has gone through rather more of life than his students. When he was young he was content to allow life to flow by as he watched, but an incident wherein he helped the police catch a killer due to his investigative and deductive ability inspired him to think of joining the police force. His two friends and younger sister were mostly in agreement with him, and Kyousuke aspired to greater meaning and justice in his life. Tragedy struck, however, in high school, when bullying and gang violence was on the rise, and Kyousuke tried to step up against it. He failed - but his friend, Tatsuya did not, and Tatsuya died because he ''did'' step up, even as he was successful.

Kyousuke lost his belief in his own ability to be a hero, and retreated into himself... for over a decade he remained in retreat, until he finally removed himself and got a degree in teaching, eventually landing at Mishima of all places.

Persona is Saigo Takamori, a man infamous as Tamamo-no-Mae, the last samurai of Japan, who led a revolt against the government when the samurai lost their high status during the Meiji era.most famous {{kitsune}} in Japanese tradition.

Added DiffLines:

* {{Beware the Nice Ones}}: Kikuhime is, on the surface, [[Main/YamatoNadeshiko a sweet, compassionate, and courteous young woman]], but if she is wroth or wronged, beware her fangs.
* {{Fragile Speedster}}: With her stats, Kikuhime is a critical-hit beast, but does not have much in the way of defenses.
* {{Heroic Albino}}: She does her best to hide the second, and to live up to the first, but Kikuhime is in fact very interested in helping those who have less privilege than herself, and also lacks pigment entirely.
* {{Katanas are Just Better}}: Kikuhime's weapon in the Painted World, and one of the four martial arts with which she is proficient.
* {{Naginatas are Feminine}}: Kikuhime is a member of the naginata-do club, and is rather proficient in the use of the weapon.
* {{The Ojou}}: Both her upbringing and how other classmates tend to see her makes Kikuhime fall squarely within this trope.
* {{Raven Hair Ivory Skin}}: She has the look of this, but only because she dyes her hair on a regular basis. In truth, she's a {{Heroic Albino}}, as mentioned above.
* {{Sacrificed Basic Skill for Awesome Training}}: Perhaps this overstates it, but Kikuhime has virtually ''no'' skills with which to care for herself or her house - she cannot cook, cannot clean beyond the most basic tasks, has not the faintest clue on how to use Japan's systems of public transportation... and generally lacks a lot of essential life skills for those not insanely wealthy.
* {{Weakened by the Light}}: Not... exactly, but Kikuhime, as an albino, burns horrifically badly and insanely fast when it comes to standing outside in the sunlight. It's why she always keeps a [[Main/ParasolofPrettiness parasol]] nearby.
* {{Yamato Nadeshiko}}: Kikuhime has been raised to be one of these, and while her core of steel has yet to come to the fore, she has one well hidden beneath the surface.

* {{Cool Big Sis}}: She played this role to Yuto, back in Osaka, though it ended in [[Main/TearJerker tears]].
* {{Genki Girl}}: Yes, Saki is a tad overenthusiastic and seems to have limitless reserves of energy.
