The main protagonist of the series and Admiral Bubbles' arch-enemy/owner.

• The Cassandra: Only person who knows that Admiral Bubbles is evil and behind all the trouble in town.
• Conspiracy Theorist: Will believe anything Scoop says.
• Give Geeks a Chance: Quite a few cute girls like him.
• Goofy Print Underwear: As shown in "The Army of Sea Dudes" and "Lights, Camera, Goldfish," Beanie wears bunny-printed boxer briefs.
• Mama's Boy: Mom is Beanie’s best friend, and he is her best friend, too. They are very close and would do anything for each other.
• Only One Name: Whatever him and his mom's last name is has never been revealed. In "Icing On The Cake" and "The Great Outdoors" it's said to start with an O.

Admiral Bubbles

Voiced by: Stephane Blanchette

Beanie's fish and the main antagonist of the show. He will stop at nothing to get rid of his owner and become the cruel tyrant of the entire world.

• Fiendish Fish: He’s a goldfish who’s also an evil mastermind.
• Fluffy the Terrible: Admiral Bubbles seems like a harmless name, but he’s far from harmless.
• Knight of Cerebus: When his plot involves murdering Beanie and he comes so close to it, things get pretty dark.
• Would Hurt a Child: Bubbles has no scruples about trying to kill Beanie.

Beanie's Mom

Voiced by: Jane Wheeler

Beanie’s single mother, who never believes her son's claims.

• Adults Are Useless: Is oblivious to her goldfish being evil and thinks Beanie is just making excuses.
• Good Parents: She doesn’t believe Beanie about Admiral Bubbles, but she loves him more than everything and wouldn’t give him up for the world.
• Glamorous Single Mother: Very pretty and a great mother to her son.
• Unnamed Parent: What is her name? Who knows?

Beanie's Classmates and Teachers

Beanie’s friend and the only person who believes him about Admiral Bubbles.

Nia

The Girl Next Door and Beanie’s love interest.

• Beware the Nice Ones: She doesn’t like bullies like Desmona.
• The Cutie: Sweet and adorable.
• Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: Very pretty and has blonde hair.

Desmona

Voiced by: Lucinda Davis

Beanie's bullying classmate, who has a not-so secret crush on him.

• Book Dumb: She is not very bright.
• The Ditz: What she has in bullying, she lacks in brains.
• Lazy Bum: One time, she expected Beanie to write the answers on her paper when they were science partners.
• Loving Bully: She likes to beat Beanie up, and yet, she wants to be his everything.
• Smug Snake: Tricks Beanie into saying she’s beautiful and leaves him behind.

Stanford

The class teacher's pet and snitch.

• Insufferable Genius: Very haughty and a know it all.
• The Stool Pigeon: Snitches on everyone.

Beanie's rival in science.
