- Adaptation Name Change: In the original manga, her last name is not mentioned, but in the 2016 film, she says her last name is Hanamura.
- Age Lift: She is 12 in the original manga, but aged up to 14 in the live action film, probably so that she is of legal age. Worth noting is that Risa Nakamura was 18 during production.
- Cosmic Plaything: Midori's fate never improves.
