Characters introduced in MHA: World's Finest

The Triumvirate

    Batman

Batman/Bruce Wayne

Quirk: Quirkless

A vigilante from another universe who ended up in the world of MHA.
  • An Arm and a Leg: Batman loses his right arm in the final battle against All for One at the end of the first story.
  • Artificial Limbs: After losing his arm in the battle with All For One, Bruce gains one that comes with a few surprises, which comes in handy when he has to neutralize Muscular.
  • Badass Normal: Batman, as usual. With the Dramatic Irony that, until the end of the story, nobody knows that he's Quirkless. Theories on what his quirk could be continue even in the sequel.
  • Broke Your Arm Punching Out Cthulhu: Batman loses his right arm in the fight with All For One.
  • Career-Ending Injury: Bruce survives the fight with All For One, but his lost arm means he couldn't continue crimefighting if he wanted to.
  • The Dreaded:
    • To the criminals of MHA, even thirty years later.
    • Word of God confirms that even after all this time, All For One still fears him.
  • Hope Bringer: Downplayed While Toshinori is the one who eventually brings hope fully into Nana's life, Bruce lays the first chinks in her armor.
  • Loophole Abuse: Though he is a vigilante in by the strict definition of the word, Batman is technically not breaking the Japanese laws against them because he doesn't have a Quirk. Not that anyone knows this. Hilarity Ensues.
  • The Mentor:
    • He, along with Nana and Sorahiko, are this to All Might.
    • He's also this to his successor, Terry Mcginnis.
  • Retired Badass: He may be old and have a prosthetic limb but he can still kick ass when needed.
  • Second Love: For Nana, who slowly falls in love with him as she continues to grieve for the husband she lost and the son she gave up. They're Happily Married in the sequel with an adoptive daughter.
  • Stealth Hi/Bye: Does this very often, much to Nana's irritation and Sorahiko's awe. He even taught it to All Might.
  • Unrelated in the Adaptation: Terry Mcginnis is in no way related to Bruce here, rather than being his unknown offspring as in the DCAU. LD1449 despised that reveal and considers it a Broken Aesop, so he's not using it in the story.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: With Sorahiko. Even thirty years later, they can't help but get on each other's nerves.

    Titana

Titana/Nana Shimura/Wayne

Quirk: Float, One For All

The seventh wielder of One For All.
  • Broken Bird: Beneath her go-getter optimist mask, Nana is readying herself for an eventual fated encounter with All for One that she doesn't expect to survive, and is mourning both the death of her husband and the fact she needed to put her son, Kotaro into foster care to keep him safe.
  • Cry into Chest: Recalling the story of how she lost her husband and subsequently gave up her son for his safety ends with Nana sobbing while Bruce holds and comforts her.
  • Happily Married: With Bruce by the end of the first story
  • Likes Clark Kent, Hates Superman: Nana grows ever closer with Bruce even as she grows ever more irritated with Batman. Eventually comes to trust and respect the latter identity.
  • The Mentor:
    • Was this to All Might, along with Bruce and Sorahiko.
    • She also becomes a mentor to Momo.
  • Named by the Adaptation: While never having an official Hero name in canon, Nana is dubbed "Titania" by the press.
  • Spared By Adaptation: She ends up surviving her battle with All For One and lives a long life with Bruce.
