The mother of Boone, and the stepmother of Shannon. She cut Shannon off from the family fortune after the death of her husband Adam Rutherford, who died with a living trust rather than a will. She is also the owner of a wedding business, a subsidiary of which resulted in Boone moving away from New York to become the COO of her company.
- Abusive Mom: She's verbally and financially abusive toward Shannon.
- Evil Matriarch: Of the Carlyle-Rutherfords; she favors Boone and loved her husband, but she's mercilessly cold toward Shannon.
- Jerkass Has a Point: Sabrina does make a salient point about Shannon having fleeting interests, but it's clearly motivated by her own hatred of Shannon.
- Ice Queen: She wears a constant cold facial expression with icy eyes.
- Wicked Stepmother: To Shannon, whom she hates for no good reason. She barely bothers disguising the fact.

Shannon's boyfriend in Australia. He helped her in a scheme to get money from Boone.
- Con Man: He and Shannon scammed Boone out of cash. He later took the money and left without cutting Shannon in.
- Greed: What prompted him to con Boone and later Shannon.
- Karma Houdini: He gets away scott-free, even after conning Boone and beating him up.
- No-Holds-Barred Beatdown: Inflicts one on Boone.
- Only in It for the Money: He's not genuinely dating Shannon, he's just a con man she's working with.
