The very large cast from Katmandu.
- Characters from Leahtrah and Thorin's era
- Characters from Liska's Era
- Characters From Side-stories
- Historical Characters
Tropes associated with all characters:
- Badass Native: All the characters from Liska's era, but oddly averted in Leah's one, since her culture is based on the Middle East instead.
- Cat Folk: This is a given, considering the comic is named "Katmandu" for a reason, as all the important characters are felines, through of many different breeds and sub-species:
- Liska, Markree, Elishaa, Shaygin, Panka, Chief Pownetkee, the Seneschal and Mahri (Leah's mother) are tabby cats.
- Mother Sanna, Kasil and Deronda are Siamese cats.
- Kress, Gareth, Bright Dawn, and Dancing Star are calicos.
- Hesta, her mother, her sister Radwin and Pepper are white tigers, while Tyjer and his family are Sumantran tigers.
- Quiet Bird and his previous family are smilodons aka saber-tooth tigers.
- Thorin and his family are lions.
- Wind Flower is heavily implied to be either a cheetah or a savannah cat, since he is taller than his mate Bright Dawn and many members of the cast.
- Leahtrah and Kayce are Abyssinians.
- Jerush (Leah's father) is a Maine Coon.
- Rial and Athos, aka "Little Rial", are likely Tuxedo cats.
- Pyndan and Kebec are Turkish Angora cats.
- Helios, from the Michelle Light-created side-stories, is likely a Serval cat.
- Rakon, Willoem, and Leah's children are hybrids.
- Indian Maiden: All the females characters from Liska's era, including the aforementioned character, in some degree or another. Some of them, like Liska, prefer to solve the things in a more diplomatic way possible rather than relying on violence, through they normally avoid the "sleeping with the enemy" part.
