!!This is a partial character sheet for ''Series/KamenRiderGhost''. Visit [[Characters/KamenRiderGhost here]] for the main character index. Subjective trope and audience reactions should go on the [[YMMV/KamenRiderGhost YMMV page]].

%%The Ganma are the main antagonistic force in ''Series/KamenRiderGhost''. A race of demonic spirits from another realm that can be summoned into our world through a magic portal known as a Ganma Hole. These are the work of the Mysterious Man, a black-clad sorcerer, though it is unknown if he's working with, serving, or actually using the Ganma for his own means.

%%The Ganma see humanity as nothing more than tools to be used, or as prey to be killed for pleasure. Their main goals it to bring more Ganma to the human world, as only few of them can come out of a normal Ganma Hole.

[[foldercontrol]]

[[folder:General Tropes]]

* AlienBlood: Their blood is black in color.
* AlphabeticalThemeNaming: Done in ''katakana'' here. Adonis, Alicia, Argos, Adel, Alia and Alain are all pronounced beginning with the vowel sound "a", which is naturally the start of the alphabet just like in English; Eadith and Igor are read beginning with the vowel sound "i", which comes just after "a", indicating their position as high ranking officers. Javel has his vowel sound "a" as the ''second katakana'', placing him much further down the food chain while alluding to his EliteMook status.
* AlwaysChaoticEvil: The Ganma seem destructive and monstrous by nature. Justified, as they seem to be demons.
** NotAlwaysEvil: However, at least two of their number, Gazai Ganma and Armored Ganma break this mold. Gazai by simply wanting to paint and not wanting to fight at all, and Armored by adhering to a strict code of honor and refusing to harm women or children. [[spoiler: Igor notably refers to both of them as "defective".]]
** It's also downplayed, in that higher-ranking Ganma, in particular the royal family, are shown to have a great deal of [[AffablyEvil positive qualities]] and nobler motivations.
* AntiVillain: As it turns out, the majority of the higher-ups at least appear to have genuinely good intentions towards conquering the human world or simply following orders. [[spoiler: Adel]] and [[{{Jerkass}} Igor]] are still massive assholes though.
* DealWithTheDevil: Their M.O., at least for the ones acting for Saionji's plans to gather Eyecons. An unsuspecting human will use one of Saionji's summoning kits to gain a source of inspiration or paranormal powers, not knowing that they become enthralled by the Ganma. The demons then will help the contractor, but they will ensure to twist the desire in ways that best suit their ultimate goals.
* DeathIsCheap: Even after a Ganma is killed, there's still a good chance they'll come back. [[spoiler:However, if their real bodies are destroyed, they are gone for good.]]
* DefeatEqualsExplosion: Compared to the [[Series/KamenRiderDrive Roidmudes]] last year who exploded twice when defeated (their bodies and their cores), these guys give us a ''[[RuleOfThree triple explosion]]'' upon death: one for their Primal Bodies, one for the coats that give them power (which turns back into the item that made up their motif), and one for the Eyecons that give them life. And if a Giant Ganma is defeated, they create an explosion before returning to their normal form, meaning that a single Ganma can explode ''[[FourIsDeath four times]]''.
* DemonicPossession: Ganmas can take possess people if they have not evolved past their Primal Body form.
* DemonOfHumanOrigin: [[spoiler:Their natural forms is more or less human, but have transformed themselves into demonic spirits by seperating their soul from their body.]]
* TheEmpire
* {{Hell}}: Their home world, if not actually this is close. A wasteland with a red sky that almost seems ''on fire''.
* {{Hellgate}}: All Ganma come into the human world via a eye-shaped portal known as a "Ganma Hole".
* ImmuneToBullets: Normal firearms are useless against them, as the bullets just go straight through them harmlessly. The Ganma fighting [[Series/KamenRiderDrive Shinnosuke]] mocks him for thinking a handgun would have any effect at all.
* {{Intangibility}}: They can phrase through objects no problem, though it appears to be a will-based conscious thing, since more than once has a Ganma and Ghost had trashed the environment during their fights.
* {{Invisibility}}: They can turn invisible at will, unless you're holding a Ghost Eyecon. It's not entirely clear if this is really an InvisibleToNormals-based situation or simply a power, however it appears to be the former.
* {{Mooks}}: Commando Ganma.
* MythologyGag: They have a ''lot'' in common with [[Series/KamenRider Shocker and it's successors]].
** The default Ganma seem to be modeled after Shocker Combatmen. The titles of the [=Mooks=] is "Commandos", which was last used in [[Series/KamenRiderSkyrider Skyrider]]'s series with the Ari Commandos.
** Ganma are rather similar to [[Series/KamenRiderOOO Yummies]] as both monsters have a base form (Primal Body for Ganma, White Yummy for Yummies) who can evolve once they are infused with an object.
* OccultBlueEyes: The Ganma have blue eyes.
* OneWingedAngel: If a Ganma absorbs one of the Parka Ghost before Ghost can convert it into an Eyecon, they transform into a Giant Ganma.
* OurDemonsAreDifferent: Their name literally translates to Eye Demon or Eye Devil, and they're malevolent supernatural creatures summoned via magic to serve their summoner. What's shown of their world is ''very'' similar to Hell, complete with a sky that looks like it's ''on fire''. They also have a liking to making [[DealWithTheDevil Faustian bargains]] and are capable of DemonicPossession, as well as stealing souls.
* OurLichesAreDifferent: [[spoiler:They're actually an odd reverse version. Instead of their SoulJar being their one weak point, it's their original body that is. Otherwise played straight however in that they're beings who removed their souls and put them in some sort of container to gain power. Though it's implied there may be a limit to how many times they can revive.]]
* OutOfContinues: [[spoiler:If forced back to their old body.]]
* RuleOfCreepy: Much like the [[Series/KamenRiderFourze Zodiarts Switches]], Ganma Eyecons look quite different from the Ghost Eyecons. For one, they have a hook that obviously is made to resemble severed optic nerves.
* RuleOfSymbolism: Evolved Ganma have historical motifs, and at times, they have motifs that come into conflict with the motifs Kamen Rider Ghost uses.
* SoulJar: [[spoiler: Turns out, Eyecons are this for the Ganma. Their real bodies are kept in stasis inside capsules.]]
* ThemeNaming: The names of the members of the Ganma royal family all starts with "A".
* WeHaveReserves: On a ''[[UpToEleven species wide scale.]]'' Any Evolved Ganma can be revived from death by simply binding a new Ganma Eyecon to the same item the first one was bound to, complete with the original's memories. [[spoiler: Alain takes this up even further as Necrom, summoning and [[CannibalismSuperpower devouring]] Commando Ganma to keep his suit powered. He even overrides a Commando Ganma's identity with his own to avoid death.]]

[[folder: Chikara Saionji]]
!!Chikara Saionji
!!!Portrayed by: Yoshiyuki Morishita
[[quoteright:153:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cast05.png]]

A man who knows the truth about the Eyecons and has the ability to summon Ganma.
----
* BigBadDuumvirate: Episode 5 reveals that he and Alain have different goals, his involving gathering the Eyecons, and are merely helping each other on their goals.
* CaptainErsatz: Very similar to Toht from ''Film/RaidersOfTheLostArk'', from the outfit to the quest for artifacts. [[spoiler:Which even foreshadows his eventual fate.]]
* DidntThinkThisThrough: [[spoiler: While he does manage to gather all 15 Eyecons, he fails to factor in the possibility that the spirits of legendary heroes won't approve of someone evil trying to make a wish.]]
** Or more to the point, that the very device you've been carrying around ''might'' be needed for the ritual, since it CAN make the ritual items in the first place.
* DiscOneFinalBoss: [[spoiler:Is the first of the big bads to be defeated.]]
* DraggedOffToHell: [[spoiler:Is dragged into the Monolith when the Eyecons reject him. It's unknown ''where'' he ended up, but given the last time it happened to Makoto and Kanon, it's likely nowhere nice.]]
* EvilFormerFriend: [[spoiler: To both Ryu Tenkuji and Kenjiro Igarashi.]] It's also implied that [[spoiler:he stabbed Ryu in the back and had a role in his death.]]
* KarmicDeath: [[spoiler:Stabbed Ryu Tenkuji in the back and likely had a role in Makoto and Kanon being sucked into Ganma World. In the end, he's dragged into the Monolith himself when the Eyecons reject him.]]
* MacguffinDeliveryService: [[spoiler:Basically lets Specter and Ghost gather most of the Eyecons for him, then snatches them right out from under their noses AND Javel's.]]
* TheManBehindTheMonsters: He's responsible for about half the Ganma, and even the half he's not behind are on his side.
* ManipulativeBastard: Manipulates people to get the Eyecons, normally to convince them to make a DealWithTheDevil with a Ganma so they'll be corrupted and sacrificed to make an Eyecon.
* MysteriousBacker: Most of the shenanigans arise from this man ''somehow'' locating the items belonging to the historical figures across the world, and smuggling them to Japan.
* RedRightHand: He looks like a normal person... until he shows his ScaryTeeth.
* ScaryTeeth: He makes Creator/SteveBuscemi look adorable!
* SelfDisposingVillain: [[spoiler:His own mistake of not having a fully functioning Ghost Driver does him in.]]
* SummonMagic: He can do this with the Ganma, and has the means to help other people summon a Ganma.
* TakeOverTheWorld: His wishes to gain power to control everything.
* TheUnfought: [[spoiler:Takeru doesn't even get to really meet him face-to-face before he gets sucked into the Monolith after gathering the 15 Eyecons but lacking a proper Ghost Driver to get a wish.]]

[[folder: Alain/Kamen Rider Necrom]]
!!Alain/Kamen Rider Necrom
!!!Portrayed by: Hayato Isomura (live), Eitoku (suit)
[[quoteright:153:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cast06.png]]

Youngest child of the Ganma World's ruler, he [[spoiler: initially]] works alongside Saionji to obtain the 15 Ghost Eyecons and bring forth an army of Ganma with the intent of invading the human world.

With the Mega Ulorder, Alain can assume his own Rider form known as Kamen Rider Necrom.

!!! Tropes that apply to him in general
* {{Adorkable}}: Surprising considering what kind of person [[JerkAss he is]]. He mistook Takoyaki for Eyecons while walking with Kanon. Also applies to most of times he has complained about [[spoiler: having mortal body]] or was amazed by the human world in general.
* AmbiguouslyHuman: He ''looks'' human, but his ability to summon Ganma under his own power and Javel (a Ganma) stating he's the son of 'the Great Ruler' who apparently dwells in the Ganma World. He is ultimately confirmed to be a Ganma in episode 12 when he turns into a Ganma Eyecon to return back to their world.
** [[spoiler: Despite this, he has a mortal body that is no different from human as he is reminded at every other turn after being forced back into it.]]
* ArrogantKungFuGuy: Pre-HeelFaceTurn.
* BadassNormal: The guy is strong enough to fight against Specter with his bare hands without any transformation or power-up whatsoever, a rarity in the world of Kamen Rider and that's before he became Necrom.
* BadBoss: Doesn't seem to care his arrival in the human world as Necrom sent several of his own minions flying in the process, [[spoiler:and in order to maintain his power in Necrom form he has to ''eat'' his own minions]]. He also uses several of them as living shields to protect himself. He might be the Ganma Prince, but he doesn't seem to give a darn about most of them.
** That it was never proven that Ganma Commandos are more than mindless puppets doesn't make thing much better.
* BerserkButton: Takeru is this to him for some time as Alain is [[GreenEyedMonster jealous]] because he thinks Takeru lured Makoto away from him. Makoto actually chose to follow Takeru of his own free will, but their attempts at explaining it to Alain just didn't get anywhere.
* BigBadDuumvirate: Episode 5 reveals that Alain is helping Saionji on gathering the Eyecons as long as he helps Alain on whatever he is planning. [[spoiler: With Saionji dead, he is this with Adel up until he gets framed for the Emperor's death.]]
* BigEater: He once ate ten boxes of Takoyaki without even noticing until he was told. Also, he was halfway through the eleventh one when that happened.
* BlackSheep: He's a literal one, while his father, and his other three siblings all wear white. Later becomes inverted as Adel instead becomes the ''real'' BlackSheep after [[spoiler: killing his father]].
* BreakTheHaughty: [[spoiler: His time in his mortal body hasn't been kind to him. Learning his Father is dead and his brother is using him as a scapegoat, getting beaten savagely by Javel and watching Makoto's Eyecon shatter in front of him. Realizing that he's afraid to die pushes this into HeroicBSOD or VillainousBSOD territory.]]
* BrokenBird: [[spoiler: Gets to experience this twice. He went into a TraumaCongaLine when his father is mercilessly killed by his own brother. The second one would be when Mrs. Fumi passes away in #30. Alain takes the latter the hardest unexpectedly to the point he doubts his feelings. This eventually cemented his HeelFaceTurn.]]
-->'''Alain:''' If I feel this way because I have a heart, ''then'' I don't need a heart.
* BroughtDownToNormal: [[spoiler:After having his Ganma Eyecon destroyed, he is forced to return back to his human body. And while he still can use Mega Ulorder to become Necrom, he lacks most of his powers.]]
** [[spoiler: Later events imply that he still has a number of those powers, but using them would be harmful if not outrightly deadly for him.]]
* ButNowIMustGo: [[spoiler:A few months after their battle against the Great Eyezer, he, along with Makoto and Kanon, had decided to leave the Daitenku Temple and returns to the Ganma world in their prospect to turn his home world into a utopia just like Earth.]]
* CainAndAbel: The Abel to Adel's Cain.
* TheChessmaster: His plan seems comparably complex compared to Saionji's, with most Ganma working directly for him centered around setting up the pieces.
* DeathIsSuchAnOddThing: As the world of Ganma is supposed to be free of death, it confuses him a great deal. His father's death throws him into messy HeroicBSOD. Following death of Grandma Fumi left him both in pain and completely dumbfounded.
* DespairEventHorizon: After [[spoiler: Adel kills their father for real]], Alain stops responding to anything and lets himself be dragged around by Takeru. Makoto [[GetAHoldOfYourselfMan gets him out of it]] later on.
** [[spoiler: Death of Gradma Fumi]] causes slightly less severe one to him, but still as heartbreaking and important.
* [[EvenBadMenLoveTheirMamas Even Bad Men Love Their Daddies]]: He is even acknowledged as such by Alia. He was shocked to learn that Adel framed him for [[spoiler: killing his father]], not knowing that it was Adel who started it in the first place. When [[spoiler: Adonis is finally KilledOffForReal by Adel]], this left Alain [[BrokenBird broken as a result]] and even forced him over the DespairEventHorizon for a while.
* EvilLaugh: He has pretty good one while charging up to his full power as Kamen Rider Necrom in #24.
* EvilPrince: At first. He ditched this role upon switching sides.
* {{Expy}}: Plays the same role as [[Series/KamenRiderKiva Taiga Nobori]], both non human riders (Alain is a Ganma while Taiga is a Fangire) were originally antagonistic to the heroes who wants to achieve their goals for the sake of their races until they became good upon learning the error of their ways about humanity's problem.
** He is also similar to [[Series/KamenRiderGaim Takatora Kureshima]] in regards of being a white-colored rider that was initially antagonistic to the heroes before siding with the heroes in the end.
* FaceDoodling: Courtesy of Onari. Paid him back, though.
* FashionableAsymmetry: Most visible on his first outfit that has mismatched sleeves. Also, he wears only one earring.
* FallenPrincess: A rare male example. He was the prince of the Ganma World who's making a preparations for the invasion on Earth until he was thrown out by his brother Adel and then he was accused of being their father's killer.
* GoodCostumeSwitch: An entire outfit conveniently in light green and white, passed to him by Mrs Fumi. [[spoiler:Sadly, it also becomes a TragicKeepsake.]] It even matches his color scheme as Kamen Rider Necrom.
* GrandTheftMe: If his body is ever destroyed, he can easily possess the body of another Ganma to regain it back.
** Ironically, this also happens to him when he ends up possessed by [[spoiler:Onari when he becomes an Eyecon!]]
* HeelFaceTurn: Not exactly by choice, but he makes one [[spoiler: after Adel kills their father and uses Alain as the scapegoat.]]
** He does come around to it more after [[spoiler: a few realizations and his father getting KilledOffForReal]].
* HeroicBSOD: Gets hit with this ''brutally hard'' when [[spoiler: his father [[DiedInYourArmsTonight died in his arms and then crumbled to dust.]]]]
* HeroicWillpower: Eventually used to overcome the time limit on his suit. [[TraumaCongaLine He really gets put through the wringer in order to get there]].
* HiddenAgendaVillain: While Saionji needs the Eyecons for his plans, Alain's plans are a complete mystery until late into the series.
* ItsAllMyFault: Tries to pin himself with the blame for [[TheLoad getting in way]] of defeating Ganmaizers. [[JustifiedTrope He does]], in fact, have only limited possibilities fighting anyone on the Ganmaizer level.
* LargeHam: When [[spoiler: possesed by Onari after the latter has been turned into eyecon.]] Alain's own range of emotion is pretty subtle most of the time so it is tad suprising to see Hayato Isomura nail the scene.
* LaserGuidedKarma: [[spoiler: Alain's disdain for Takeru and humans in general would become somewhat ironic after he was forced into his mortal body and teamwork with Takeru.]]
* LeitMotif: His battle theme is [[EvilSoundsDeep heavy]], [[CreepyAwesome creeping]] electronic tune. His personal tune post FaceHeelTurn is [[BrokenBird sorrowful]] [[TheAtoner violin]] piece.
* TheLoad: Feels like this because his loose grip on what it means to have a mortal body (and the mortal body itself) greatly limits his fighting abilities and overal usefulness in battle. Takeru and Makoto try to convince he is not to mixed results.
* LockedOutOfTheLoop: [[spoiler: His older brother has given orders to Javel not to tell Alain the truth about the Eyecons' power. Though thanks to Javel's bungling, he's started to become aware of this.]]
* OutOfContinues: [[spoiler:Is forced back into his original body by his brother, meaning he's mortal now.]]
* PsychopathicManchild: He starts out by acting like a five years old, who was turned away by his pressumed BFF when talking to Makoto through the first half of the series. Also, his debut as Kamen Rider Necrom really gave off the vibe of a rich kid showing off a new toy. Realizing the error of the Ganma ways removed the psychopatic part, leaving him with only occassional bouts of harmless immaturity.
* RebelPrince: His current role after he started to work alongside the heroes.
* Really700YearsOld: When Grandma Fumi (who is 75) says that he might as well be a child compared to her, he proclaims that he has lived twice as long as she has.
* SkunkStripe: Has a white-blond streak through his hair.
* SmugSuper: Pre-HeelFaceTurn. [[spoiler:He showcases this during his first transformation into Necrom]]. Deconstructed when Adel dethroned their father and takes the trope from him and [[BroughtDownToNormal after becoming permanently mortal]].
* TheStoic: Initially appears to be so, unless he is chatting with Makoto.
** It stops after [[spoiler: he is forced into mortal body and the human world]], where he starts to feel and express a wider range of emotion. This leads to:
** NotSoStoic: [[spoiler: In #23, Makoto saves him from being executed by Javel, but is heavily wounded and his eyecon disintegrates. Alain sheds a tear, visibly broken by the events.]]
* SpellMyNameWithAnS: His VillainEpisode has it "Alain" despite being pronounced "Aran." The former appears to be official romanized spelling.
* SummonMagic: Alain in #4 is shown to be able to open a Ganma Hole powerful enough to summon at least 8 Ganma Eyecons to serve in his plans. Also, he can summon Ganma Commandos to use as fuel of his suit.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: [[spoiler: After becoming mortal, he seems to have taken a liking to]] Takoyaki.
* TraumaCongaLine: AND HOW. [[spoiler: Adel destroys his Eyecon, turning him mortal again, he gets blamed for his father's supposed murder, has seen two people literally die right in front of him and gains a fear of death because of it, and the first real human friend he gains after becoming mortal passes away due to natural causes.]] Needless to say, Alain's literally gone through hell after gaining the Necrom powers.
* TrueCompanions: He gets to have this relationship with Takeru and Makoto after everything they did to each other.
** [[spoiler: This is cruelly tested and twisted in Kamen Rider Ghost Re:birth Kamen Rider Specter V-Cinema. Challenged allegiances and heaps of trauma even set Makoto and Alain against each other, ending in Alain being mortally wounded.]]
* UnableToCry: Alain cried when Makoto [[spoiler:sacrified himself]] to save him, but was too shocked to do so when [[spoiler: his father died and when came to know about the death of Gradma Fumi]].
* VillainEpisode: Has his own mini series, "Legend of the Hero Alain,". It details his encounters with the human world, humans and his attemps to understand everything through the series.
* WhatIsThisFeeling: Quotes this trope nearly word to word after [[spoiler: becoming mortal]]. It takes him a moment before he realizes that he is ''afraid'', of death in particular.
* WellDoneSonGuy: Alain at least ''seems'' to feel this way, as he's rather ticked off when his father sends Javel to 'babysit' him and takes it as meaning his father doesn't trust him to operate on his own.
* {{Yandere}}: He does ''not'' take Makoto's HeelFaceTurn well; besides hating Takeru for causing said turn, he almost seems obsessed with getting Makoto back on the side of the Ganma.
* [[YouKilledMyFather You Killed Our Father]]: He calls Adel out for this.

!!! Tropes exclusive to him as Kamen Rider Necrom
[[quoteright:350:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/masked_rider_necrom_necrom_damashii.png]]
* AchillesHeel: He's stronger and faster than the other Riders with more powers, but has one critical weakness: his suit can run out of power and needs to be recharged. His first fight with them ends when they simply manage to hold out until he runs out of power [[spoiler:and Commando Ganma to absorb to recharge.]]
* BareFistedMonk: Unlike Ghost and Specter, Necrom, especially in his base form, relies more on hand-to-hand combat.
* CannibalismSuperpower: Necrom is incredibly powerful, but [[spoiler:his suit runs on Ganma, requiring him to absorb them to keep fighting]].
* CharacterTics: Just like Takeru and Makoto, Alain has his own quirk when donning a Parka Ghost. His is gripping the right side and lightly tugging it to adjust it.
* CombatTentacles: In Grimm Damashii, in addition to being able to be used as daggers, the pen nib-like edges on his shoulders can extend on green tendrils and be used as this.
* TheCorrupter: He can [[spoiler:seemingly brainwash Eyecons and his Necrom Eyecon itself can control a Ghost Driver-user. Poor Grimm and Specter...]]
* {{Cyclops}}: The faceplate in Necrom's base form has a giant eye on it, which is visible through the visor in all of his forms.
* DemonicPossession: His corruptive powers seem to stem from this as a base. He can even possess his own kind to either move out of the way of attacks or command them to fight, which seems to make them stronger.
* ElementalShapeshifter: Can shift into a liquid form which allow attacks to harmlessly pass through him.
* EvilCounterpart: To Kamen Riders Ghost and Specter, giving that his [[LightIsEvil suit is white]] to the [[DarkIsNotEvil heroes' black]].
** Right down to the transformation sound riffs. Ghost and Specters are fast rap sounding, while Necroms are shorter, more rock based riffs.
* EvilKnockoff: Seems to be this, seeming to be more like PoweredArmor than the other two's Rider forms (which seem to be more of a physical transformation) and having a much more artificial look to him. Even his Eyecon seems completely different than any other type. It also needs to be actively powered and recharged to maintain transformation.
* FantasyMetals: His suit is composed of 'Quantum Metal', which permits him to [[{{Intangibility}} phase through attacks.]]
* FinishingMove:
** '''Necrom'''
*** '''Omega Load''': The Necrom Eyecon announces "Destroy!" as Necrom charges demonic energy into himself, which he can channel as a [[DivingKick Rider Kick]], [[PunchedAcrossTheRoom Rider Punch]] or a blast of energy from his palms. [[spoiler:Upgrades into PlayingWithFire after absorbing some energy from Ganmaizer Fire.]]
*** [[spoiler:'''Omega Finish''': Using the Gan Gun Catcher with an Eyecon slotted in it, Necrom can fire an energy blast at his foe depending on which Damashii he's using at the time.]]
** '''Sanzo'''
*** '''Omega Ulord''': Necrom summons the spirits of Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie and Sha Wujing, who then transform into a cloud that Necrom can ride on for a quick getaway. [[spoiler:Once he gains Sanzo's friendship and loyalty, however, the spirits instead attack Necrom's enemy while Necrom rushes in for the final blow.]]
* [[HumanResources Ganma Resource]]: Necrom's Parka Ghost needs to be recharged or his transformation will be dropped. How does he recharge? [[spoiler:Summon some Ganma and [[ImAHumanitarian absorb them]].]]
* HourOfPower: The Necrom powers seem to run on a time limit which Alain needs to feed or they'll fade and cancel his transformation.
* {{Intangibility}}: He has the ability to make himself intangible towards his opponent's attacks. According to official materials, this is a property of the material his suit is made of.
* {{Irony}}: His transformation call is 'Crush the Invader'. Necrom is the extradimensional invader.
** Though given his anger towards Takeru for his perception of changing Makoto, there's [[FridgeHorror another way to read that call]] [[{{Yandere}} enti]][[MurderTheHypotenuse rely]].
** [[spoiler: His HeelFaceTurn makes it seem slightly more heroic.]]
* NecessaryDrawback: Has a lot of sheer power with a SuperpowerLottery, but unlike the other two, more limited Riders, he has a finite energy supply and will run out of power if he doesn't recharge. The more damage he takes and the more power he uses seems to speed this up.
* TheNecromancer: Befitting his name, he can directly control hoards of Ganma Commandoes, and is able to brainwash the Heroic Eyecons.
* RealityEnsues: Being pretty much completely artificial and Alain [[spoiler:defecting from the Ganma and cutting him off from any upgrades]] means he isn't growing as effectively as the purely supernatural Riders are.
* SuperpowerLottery: Stronger than the Driver-based Ghosts, can command Ganma and Eyecons alike, and has a wide powerset that neither Ghost nor Specter possess.
** CantCatchUp: However, Necrom eventually starts lagging behind Ghost and Specter because of its lack of an equivalent to the Mugen and Deep Specter Eyecons. [[spoiler:Earning the loyalty and friendship of his partner Eyecons and the acquisition of the Gan Gun Catcher alleviates this somewhat. This even extends to his ''upgrade'' Yujou Burst. It only upgrades him to about mid-season powerup levels while in the same V-Cinema Makoto reaches ''Mugen'' levels of power.]]
* TakingYouWithMe: Apparently, his ultimate attack is this by putting all his energy into one self destructive attack. He's ''tried'' this on two occasions but never got to do it either time. Justified, as Alain is a Ganma and thus he can just respawn if this happens. [[spoiler:Until he [[OutOfContinues was returned to his real body.]]]]
* [[spoiler:WeaponOfChoice: The Gan Gun Catcher, which is a retooled and recolored Gan Gun Hand.]]

[[folder:Adel]]
!!Adel[[spoiler:/Perfect Ganmaizer]]
!!! Portrayed by: Akihiro Mayama
[[quoteright:153:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/adel_krg.png]]
[[caption-width-right:350:[[labelnote:Click here]]http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/gammiser.png[[/labelnote]] to see [[spoiler: Perfect Ganmaizer]]]]

Alain's older brother. He desires the Ghost Eyecons, but his reasons are not yet known.

----

* ZeroPercentApprovalRating: [[spoiler:In episode 41, Makoto outright states that Adel's insufferable [[AGodAmI god-like delusions]] ''perfectly'' made him despised by many.]]
-->'''Makoto:''' Who are you creating a perfect world for? There is no one around you anymore!
* AGodAmI: [[spoiler:Once he's granted the power of the Ganmaizer, he considers himself to be the "perfect existence" and the one who will guide the world. Becoming Perfect Ganmaizer, as well as being able to connect with the Great Eye, just make his conviction of this even stronger.]]
* AlasPoorVillain: Adel might be a SmugSuper {{Narcissist}}ic emperor, he eventually realizes the error of his actions. Moments Adel could reform, the Ganmaizers took over him, forcing Takeru to kill him to free him the Ganmaizers' control. [[spoiler:It ends with a saddening goodbye to his siblings as Adel's spirit ascends in the afterlife.]]
* AuthorityEqualsAsskicking: He's Ganma royalty and is strong enough to take on Toucon Boost Ghost and Specter at the same time without breaking a sweat. Even Tutankhamun's Omega Fang barely slow him down. [[spoiler: He can now merge with the Ganmaizers to become Perfect Ganmaizer, pretty much making him as strong as Mugen Damashii.]]
* BadassLongcoat: Sports a black one since his debut episode. [[spoiler:He takes it off by episode 43]].
* BigBad: [[spoiler: After the events of episode 22, he's taken over the position for now. Episode 27 cements him further...but there is an [[TheManBehindTheMan even bigger threat]] than Adel after his redemption in episode 48.]]
* BlackSheep: Oh, good Lord, he fits this trope to a tee than Alain. It sees that [[AlternateCharacterInterpretation in his eyes]] his father became so neglectful to him.
* CainAndAbel: The Cain to Alain's Abel.
* CombatTentacles: [[spoiler: One of Perfect Ganmaizer's power.]]
* DespotismJustifiesTheMeans: He's a megalomaniac who is obsessed with power and he will do anything in order fulfill his invasion on the human world and reshape it in the same vein as the Ganma world.
* DrunkWithPower: After becoming the Perfect Ganmaizer he started slipping into this, and giving less of a care what happens to his own family.
* EasilyForgiven: Even after all the crap he's pulled, Takeru forgives Adel mostly on the merit that he's still Alain's brother.
* TheEmperor: [[spoiler: After killing his father, he is now the new Emperor of the Ganma World.]]
* EvenBadMenLoveTheirMamas: See UsedToBeASweetKid below.
* EvilCounterpart: To Alain. In fact, his relation to his father, as well as his whole family, is worse than Alain's.
** [[spoiler: His Perfect Ganmaizer is one to Grateful Damashii, being created by merging with all the Ganmaizers just like Grateful is created from merging with the 15 Heroic Eyecons. Perfect is more powerful than Grateful though, being able to rival Mugen's power.]]
* EvilerThanThou: To Alain. Alain is dangerous and villainous, but Adel is clearly much worse than him.
* EvilPrince: [[spoiler: Killed his own father and frames his younger brother for it.]]
* FreudianExcuse: It's been implied that his mother's passing when he was young had a profoundly negative effect on him.
* HiddenAgendaVillain: He wants the Ghost Eyecons, and is willing to deceive his brother to get them, but why is unknown. [[spoiler: Turns out he's planning to overthrow his father and rule over both human and Ganma worlds.]]
* IAmTheNoun: "I am the world itself!"
* ItsAllAboutMe: [[spoiler:Very much. Even if it involves turning ''every'' human beings into duplicates of himself.]]
* JacobMarleyWarning: Gives one to Alain as his LastWords before departing for the afterlife.
-->''"Don't make the same mistakes I did."''

* {{Narcissist}}: Sees himself as the only one who can fulfill his father's ambitions in a distorted way.
* NeverMyFault: His attitude and irrationality pretty much ensures that he'll never admit that these precise traits have brought about chaos rather than the perfection he seeks.
* NiceJobFixingItVillain: Framing Alain for [[spoiler: their father's death]] and [[spoiler: forcing him into his mortal body]] eventually led him to join the side of humans and help them stop Adel.
* OneWingedAngel: [[spoiler: Perfect Ganmaizer.]]
* ThePerfectionist: An incredibly dark example. He craves perfection, both in himself and in the world, and he doesn't care what he has to destroy or sacrifice to get there.
* SanitySlippage: Considers ''everyone'' as inferior and isn't above killing his own family members.
* SelfMadeOrphan: [[spoiler: Killed his own father once he considered his existence to no longer be necessary.]]
* SiblingRivalry: Given Alain's behavior, and the fact Adel ordered Javel not to tell Alain about the Eyecon's true power and instead gather them for him, it seems the two have this going on.
* SmugSuper: A villainous example. He begins to showcase this upon ascending to the throne and introduced to the power of the Ganmaizers, those he deemed imperfect are considered beneath him. [[spoiler:It also doubles as his FatalFlaw.]]
* TheSociopath: He was confirmed as this the moment he told Magistrate Eadith that the extinction of the Ganma was "of no concern".
* TheStarscream: [[spoiler: He kills his father and usurps the throne.]]
* TheStoic: Even worse than Alain, he hardly ever changes his expressions, [[spoiler: even when killing his own father.]]
** NotSoStoic: Having the power of the Ganmaizers at his disposal, his cold facade is slowly slipping as he starts letting out some [[EvilLaugh Evil Laughs]] and [[PsychoticSmirk Psychotic Smirks]]. Takeru acquiring Mugen and destroying some of the Ganmaizers also cause him to show anxiety and restlessness for the first time.
* TheUnfettered: He doesn't even care if he kills his own family in his mad quest for perfection.
* UsedToBeASweetKid: Alia states in Episode 45 that he used to be kind and loving to his family, even idolizing his father. [[StartOfDarkness Then their mother died.]]
* TheUsurper: [[spoiler:His ultimate goal: to overthrow his father and become emperor. He succeeds.]]
* VillainousBreakdown:
** He verges into this each time whenever a Ganmaizer is destroyed.
** Has this in episode #45 when Takeru inadvertently entered on his memories.
** Then in #48 again as Takeru fully connects to Adel's heart, it was only a matter of time he dropped into his knees, realizing his mistakes.
* WellDoneSonGuy: His StartOfDarkness, also doubles as a [[DeconstructedTrope deconstruction]]. Due to his mother's death and his disappointment toward his father. His dad actually lack of appreciating toward himself.
* WithGreatPowerComesGreatInsanity: Look at his attitude and SanitySlippage throughout the series.

Alain and Adel's older sister. She seems to be the one who took the Fukami siblings under her care when they were stranded in the the Ganma world. [[spoiler:She eventually becomes Kamen Rider Necrom Pink.]]

----

* [[spoiler:DisposableWoman: Averted as a whole but played straight with her rider form. While she is defeated in her only fight as Dark Necrom P, she survived the story; making her the first female Rider since [[Series/KamenRiderWizard Mayu]] to survive the stories of her series.]]
* NiceGirl: She is shown to be a kind person unlike her brothers. She takes care of the Fukami siblings and misses them a lot when they left the Ganma World.
* OvershadowedByAwesome: [[spoiler: Being a fairly strong and skilled fighter is nice and all, but it means very little when you're fighting against the equivalent of ''gods''.]]
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: [[spoiler: She's understandably skeptical of Adel's claim that Alain killed their father, as she knows just how much Alain respected their father.]]
* StrongFamilyResemblance: As an adult, she is identical to her mother.
* WomanInWhite: In contrast to her two younger brothers and similar to her father's.

!! Javel
!!! Portrayed by: Sotaro Yasuda (live), Shinsuke Kusano (suit)
[[quoteright:153:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/javel.png]]

A human-looking Ganma who can use a special Eyecon to transform into the stronger Superior Ganma. He was sent by Alain's father, Emperor Adonis, to Earth to aid his son in their plans.
----
* BadassInANiceSuit: Dresses up like a noble and can easily go against both Ghost and Specter at the same time. [[spoiler:Though only when they're not actively working together against him, though even then he's a challenge to them.]]
* BackFromTheDead: [[spoiler:First time in episode 15, courtesy of Alain. However, as revealed in 22, only his Eyecon got destroyed during both of his deaths, as his real body is completely fine, as Adel gives him another Eyecon to transfer his soul to.]]
* BloodKnight: While he didn't seem like it, episode 15 makes him seem like this, as he spends most of his fights either being disappointed in Specter due of how weak he is now or asking Ghost to put more power to his strikes. Even when he is on the receiving end of a Rider Kick from Specter, he is saying how this is the hatred what makes him feel alive.
* {{Cyclops}}: If you look at Superior Ganma's visor close enough, you notice that it has same eye pattern that Eyecons have.
* CameBackStrong: After his second defeat he was given a ''much'' stronger "Ultima" Ganma Eyecon that let him assume a similar form to Adel's Ganma form. He was able to [[CurbStompBattle Curb stomp]] Necrom ''and'' Specter with it. [[spoiler: He loses it and goes back to his Ganma Superior Eyecon after being beaten by Takeru's Grateful Soul.]]
* {{Foreshadowing}}: Mentions Alain's father [[GreaterScopeVillain the "Great Ruler"]] in his debut episode. [[spoiler: And also reveals in Episode 10 that Alain has an older brother who is presumably more powerful given that he could order Javel to [[LockedOutOfTheLoop lock Alain out of the loop as to the power of the Eyecons.]]]]
* HornedHumanoid: The Superior Ganma suit has a single straight horn in the head.
* MidseasonUpgrade: Surprising for a villain, but is promoted from Ganma Superior to Ganma Ultima.
* NamedAfterSomebodyFamous: His name comes from [[InspectorJavert Inspector]] '''[[InspectorJavert Javert]]''', the main antagonist of [[Creator/VictorHugo Victor Hugo's]] ''Literature/LesMiserables''.
* OneWingedAngel: [[spoiler:When he returns, he fuses with a Gundari to become a superpowered version of it.]]
* PraetorianGuard: While most Ganma Superior seem to be {{Elite Mook}}s, if not {{Mook Lieutenant}}s, he himself serves the royal family above the others.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: After returning to his real body and being stuck in the human world, he become very fond of Onigiri just as much as Alain likes Takoyaki.
* VillainousBreakdown: Goes berserk when his failures make Alain disappointed in him. [[spoiler:It gets him killed when he goes off to face the Riders all on his own.]]
* WalkingWasteland: His Ultima form grants him this power, causing anything he touches for long enough to decay.
* TheWorfEffect: The first time he really fights he is represented as someone who is able to take on both Ghost and Specter at the same time, only to almost die to them when they start working together. [[spoiler:And in the next episode, he dies in a CurbStompBattle after Takeru acquires Toucon Boost. And then he returns to demonstrate his ability to fuse with Gundari, he ends up dying again, this time to Specter Houdini Damashii. [[folder:Igor]]
!! Igor
!!! Portrayed by: Hiroshi Yamamoto
[[quoteright:152:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/igor_krg.png]]

Another Superior Ganma like Javel, this one working as a scientist. He possesses a prototype version of the Mega Ulorder, what can use Ganma Eyecons to empower his Superior Ganma form further. He is Adel's subordinate and only obeys his order and not Alain's.
----
* ArmorPiercingSlap: He's been on the receiving end of ''several'' from Akari. They left quite an impression on him as merely seeing her has turned into a minor BerserkButton of his.
* BadBoss: Oh man is he.
* BreakTheHaughty: See ArmorPiercingSlap above.
* ButtMonkey: While he might have his intimidating moment, at his core he's this due to being ''greatly'' outclassed by the time he starts getting more involved in fights even with his incredibly varied transformation set, often getting casually tossed out of the way. It's telling that the first time he actually won a one on one fight decisively was against ''Onari''.
* DirtyCoward: He ''perfectly'' has shades of this.
* TheDragon: To Adel.
* EvilCounterpart: To Akari. Both of them believe deeply in science, but his ideals as a Ganma greatly contrasts with Akari.
* EvilGenius: He is a man of science (or scotopography, as it is called in the World of Ganma) and not a really pleasant person.
* EvilKnockoff: His device is this to Ghost Driver, as it uses Ganma Eyecons to achieve same effect.
* TheEvilsOfFreeWill: His speech to Akari in #17 can be summarised as the only way for a perfect utopia is for lack of any variables, and individuality what humans possess for example just creates more and more of them.
* {{Expy}}: Cast in the same mold as [[Series/KamenRiderDrive Brain]] for being an EvilGenius with ButtMonkey traits of their respective groups.
* HeelFaceTurn: Has one after [[spoiler:being revived by Takeru's wish.]]
* InSeriesNickname: Akari calls him "KMS": '''K'''anpeki-naru[[note]]Perfectionist, some subs use Killer instead[[/note]] '''M'''ad '''S'''cientist.
* InTheHood: He has a parka in his Superior Ganma form, and can create ones based on previous Ganma with his device to empower him further.
* {{Jerkass}}: ''Good Lord'' is he. It shows the most during Episode #28 where the Onpu Ganma composes several famous orchestral pieces from history for him and he declares ''each and every one to be trash'' causing Onpu to have a FreakOut and flee.
* LaughablyEvil: He becomes this after receiving many receiving ends of bitch-slaps from Akari.
* MadScientist: In contrast with Akari's ScienceHeroine, she outright calls him this.
* ManipulativeBastard
* MonsterOfTheWeek: Due to his TransformationTrinket, he's basically a one man version of this.
* MythologyGag: His use of Ganma Eyecons is similar to how Chaser used Roidmude Viral Cores, except these are complete transformations rather than weapon mode changes.
* ThePerfectionist: Quite frankly, most of his plans are actually legitimately brilliant and would likely work... [[ControlFreak if he ever decided to give his subordinates the tiniest bit of leeway]] whenever a hitch comes up. [[BadBoss He doesn't,]] so much whining and freaking out tend to happen instead.
* SmugSmiler
* SmugSnake: Of all people, he has much ego for someone as genius as him.
* TakingTheBullet: [[spoiler: For ''Akari'' of all people in episode 48.]]
* {{Troll}}
* UglyGuyHotWife: [[spoiler:He marries Akari in the tie-in novel ''Memories of the Future'', making them this trope.]]
* YourSoulIsMine: He carries a device around his neck that can be used to gather up souls, and then release them to be used as his puppets.

* TheEmperor
* GoodParents: Love his children and wants the best for them.
* GreaterScopeVillain: Is the ruler of the Ganma, but remains in the Ganma World with Alain being TheHeavy and primary villain.
* KilledOffForReal: [[spoiler: His real body is killed by Adel in #27.]]
* ManInWhite: Dressed in white regalia, in contrast to his two sons.
* MeaningfulName: Adonis is the name of the Greek God of vegetation.
* OrcusOnHisThrone: Is the true ruler of the Ganma, but mainly acts through his son Alain and his minion Javel. Possibly justified, as Javel implies high ranking Ganma require the boundary between their worlds to degrade for them to be able to come through.
* WellIntentionedExtremist: He truly believes that the Ganma World is a perfect utopia compared to the human world, and believes that humans will keep on fighting each other if they have free will.
** Alia reveals more of his motivations in episode 39, namely that [[spoiler: His wife passed away and his other son, Argos, succumbed to illness soon after. This caused Adonis to fall into despair and attempt to create a Utopia. He also never aimed to invade the human world.]]

The president of the Deep Connect company. While outwardly an ally to the Paranormal Investigation Labs, he is actually Ganma-possessed and under Igor's control so that his company can be used as a front for the Ganma's Demia Project.

----
* ConsummateLiar: Igor enforces this on Bills as a diversion from Takeru and the gang, they didn't realize this until [[spoiler:episode #44]].
-->'''Igor''': Bills is ''my'' minion. I've been watching him fool you and laughing in the shadows!
* MeaningfulName: Based on ''Steve'' Jobs and ''Bill'' Gates.
* TheMole: When Takeru and friends infiltrated Deep Connect in #29, Igor had him roughed up a bit to make him look like he wasn't involved in the Ganma's plans and thereby earn the Riders' trust.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: He acts like one, and probably would be without Igor influencing him.

* MadeOfIron: Took several Omega Drives without dying. It took Mega Omega Formation, which is ''[[NoKillLikeOverkill 16 consecutive Rider Kicks]]'' to put him down.
* ProudWarriorRaceGuy: To the point where he got ''pissed'' when Takeru refused to use Mugen to fight him, considering it an insult.

A clone of Makoto Fukami sent by Adel that transforms into Kamen Rider Specter. To distinguish himself from the real one, he wears the Ganma's military uniform as opposed to the real Makoto [[HellbentForLeather wearing leather]]. [[spoiler:It was later revealed that doppelgängers were a side effect of Makoto's usage of the Deep Specter Eyecon. The Eyecon draws power from the Ganmaizers to give it incredible strength, hence the Ganmaizers created the doppelgängers as a counter to this. Specter's V-Cinema retcons this into the 15 Makoto Doppelgangers being incomplete prototypes of Makoto that were stolen from Danton.]]

* AxCrazy: One of the obvious traits to distinguish himself from the real Makoto, most especially the crazy eyes.
* BecomingTheMask: [[spoiler: Episode 47 shows that he's starting to become more and more like Makoto, to the point where he confuses himself by considering Takeru his friend. It turns into a full on HeelFaceTurn in episode 48 when he starts fighting alongside the real Makoto in earnest and later pulls a HeroicSacrifice to save the original's life.]]
* CloningBlues: [[spoiler: The remaining Clones that Makoto [[MercyKill destroys]] seem pretty happy to be dead at least. Danton isn't a particularly great father after all.]]
* EnemyMine: Does this with the real Makoto in episode 48.
* {{Expy}}: Possibly of [[Series/KamenRiderKabuto Souji Tendou's own doppelganger]] and [[Series/KamenRiderRyuki Kamen Rider Ryuga]].
* EvenEvilHasStandards: Of a sort. He might be an amoral and cruel clone of Makoto, but [[spoiler: He's still ''a clone of Makoto'' and so can't bring himself to snap Kanon's neck when he has a perfect chance even though he's been ordered to.]]
* EvilTwin: Of Makoto. [[spoiler:This trope is taken literally when the doppelganger starts wearing the real Makoto's [[HellbentForLeather leather jacket]] to further [[SpotTheImposter fool]] his friends.]]
* PsychoticSmirk
** SmugSmiler -> SlasherSmile
* {{Synchronization}}: Each time Makoto defeats his doppelganger, he experiences seizure-induced pain.
!!! Tropes exclusive to him as Kamen Rider Specter
* MirrorMatch: Since he uses the Specter Eyecon, this leads the real Makoto into relying into the Deep Specter Eyecon. [[spoiler: This trope becomes even more literal when the doppelganger gets his own Deep Specter Eyecon.]]

The 15 "Protector Gods" of the Ganma world, their job is to protect the Ganma world from outside threats. They materialize from the 15 monoliths in the Ganma Emperor's prayer room.
----
* BewareTheSillyOnes: Ganmaizer Climate, who usually carries a silly-looking blue bird with cloud for wings that looks like [[VideoGame/PokemonRubyAndSapphire Swablu]], is actually the very Ganmaizer that guided Adel into becoming Perfect Ganmaizer, the one that helped other Ganmaizers in developing sentience and emotion. The birds may look silly, but when used in attack, they hit as hard as other Ganmaizer's attacks.
* {{BFG}}: Ganmaizer Rifle's true form.
* {{BFS}}: Ganmaizer Blade's true form, which unfortunately was never seen through the series run.
* BiggerBad: Let's put it this way: nearly everything in this show can be traced back in some way, shape, or form to these guys.
* BladeOnAStick: Ganmaizer Spear's true form.
* BlowYouAway: Ganmaizer Wind is the fourth one.
* DemonicPossession: Late in the show, several of them possess previous victims of the week as part of their study of human emotions.
* DishingOutDirt: Ganmaizer Planet.
* DropTheHammer: Ganmaizer Hammer's true form.
* EldritchAbomination: [[spoiler: The Great Eyezer's gigantic form. Monstrous in form and can easily erase a human being's body and soul.]]
* EvilCounterpart: To the 15 Heroes.
* {{Expy}}: Being the evil counterpart of 15 heroes and The Great Eye, this would makes them expy of [[FateZero Corrupted Holy Grail]]. Bonus points that they are also voiced by Creator/SayakaOhara. [[spoiler: Even more after becoming The Great Eyezer, as they become one with the The Great Eye itself minus it's benevolence.]]
* FusionDance: Turns out they can merge together in the power booster version of this trope. [[spoiler:They can also merge with the Great Eye to create the Great Eyezer.]]
* GravityMaster: Ganmaizer Gravity is the second one.
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: By the end of the show, Takeru and crew still have no way to permanently defeat the Ganmaizers, who've learned how to revive each other even when killed by Mugen. They proceed to merge into a OneWingedAngel form that, while much more powerful, can't revive anymore and thus is quickly slain. The irony comes in that in their initial appearances, they frequently turned Takeru's ''own'' AllYourPowersCombined form against him in similar fashion.
* MagnetismManipulation: Ganmaizer Magnetic's ability via Ganmaizer Magnetic Blade.
* MakeMeWannaShout: Ganmaizer Oscillation.
* MakingASplash: Ganmaizer Liquid is the third one fought by Takeru and co.
* TheManBehindTheMan: Takeru's friends realize that the real threat to the world is the Ganmaizers and not Adel (who has been manipulated by the Ganmaizers all along), [[spoiler:which is made worse when they merge with the Great Eye]].
* MesACrowd: Their human form are modeled after Adel. Yes, ''ALL'' of them. Their voice is that of a woman at first, until switching to Adel's voice, then briefly to several individual voices of people they've possessed, and finally back to the woman's voice.
* NonstandardCharacterDesign: Ganmaizer Magnetic Blade, a rare non-humanoid tokusatsu monster that's not CG or a puppet, but two people in a suit.
* PaletteSwap: [[spoiler: The Great Eyezer is a gold color repaint of Kamen Rider Extremer.]]
* PhysicalGod: They are the protector gods of the Ganma world and the backbone of the world's existence. They are strong enough to stop the summoning of The Great Eye when Takeru tried to do it for the second time, by sending a huge energy blast towards the monolith in the Dai-Tenkuji temple. [[spoiler: After absorbing the The Great Eye and becoming the Great Eyezer, they become even more omnipotent, even able to turn night into day easily.]]
* PlayingWithFire: The first Ganmaizer that Takeru and co. face is the Ganmaizer Fire.
* ResurrectiveImmortality: If killed, they simply regenerate back in the prayer room in their monolith forms. [[spoiler:In fact, the reason why they consider Takeru to be such a great threat is because his Mugen Damashii form is thus far the only thing that can [[KilledOffForReal permanently take them out of action]].]]

Thankfully, he soon came back to fight back. After Yari's death, Katana was next, and goaded Ghost to follow him. After some Bike-Fu, Katana summons some Ganma Commandos to tire out Ghost, only for Ghost to find the Musashi Ghost and Musashi Eyecon.
----
* BladeBelowTheShoulder: His right arm is a [[{{BFS}} giant, wide sword]].
* CameBackStrong: [[spoiler:Is much more powerful after resurrecting, with new powers and able to keep up with Takeru's MidSeasonUpgrade.]]
* HeroKiller: This is the guy who kicked of the story. Not bad for a MonsterOfTheWeek.
* KarmicDeath: Katana's death personifies the phrase "Live by the Sword, Die By the Sword". He kills Takeru with his sword arm, and gets killed by [[MasterSwordsman Musashi Damashii]].
* KilledOffForReal: Meets his karmic end with Ghost Musashi Damashii's Omega Slash with the Gan Gun Saber in Twin Sword Style Mode. * NiceJobFixingItVillain: Congrats on creating the very thing that continually kills off your kind on a weekly basis, Katana Ganma.

----
* BladeOnAStick: Natch.
* BloodKnight: Yari is very confrontational, especially compared to his partner, Katana.
* ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice: Akari ''[[AvertedTrope barely avoided]]'' this fate thanks to Takeru when Yari tries to [[IncrediblyLamePun take a stab at her]].
* FearlessFool: Charged head-on towards Ghost when Ghost was charging up his finisher.
* KilledOffForReal: Is killed by Ghost Ore Damashii's Omega Drive Rider Kick.

While successful on creating the device and almost opening it after fusing with Edison Parka Ghost, his plan was stopped by Takeru and was killed off when he acquired Edison Damshii.
----
* AttackOfThe50FootWhatever: Became the first Ganma to become a Giant Ganma by absorbing the Edison Ghost when it was freed from its sealed state.
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: Denki played a contributing role in his own death, where he was shooting electricity at Ghost Edison Damashii. Turns out, Edison Damashii can absorb and redirect electricity.
* KilledOffForReal: Was blasted away by Ghost Edison Damashii's Omega Shoot with the Gan Gun Saber in Gun Mode.
* TheMuse: Sonoda intended to use the Ganma in this manner, but it was turned against him.
* RealityEnsues: Don't bring swords to a fight with a electricity-shooting monster.
* RuleOfSymbolism: Due to fighting against Edison Damashii and its head resembling a Tesla coil, it hearkens back to the "War of the Currents", where Thomas Edison and Nikola Tesla campaigned against each other over the use of direct electrical current and alternate electrical current.
** His Giant form looks an awful lot like a battleship. It might be a reference to the Philadelphia Experiment, an alleged military experiment that happened on U.S. Navy destroyer escort USS ''Eldridge'' (DE-173). * BarbarianLonghair: His hair is long, messy and red to boot.
* DeflectorShields: Can create a red mist-like shield front of him to stop any projectiles from reaching him. However, this applies to his own axes as well, and needs to create gaps in shield for them to reach anywhere.
* KilledOffForReal: Gets shot down swiftly by Ghost Robin Hood Damashii's Omega Strike with the Gan Gun Saber in Arrow Mode.
* RuleOfSymbolism: Ono is based on Juraj Jánošík, a Slavic folk hero, who was [[JustLikeRobinHood really similar to Robin Hood]], as both of them stole from the rich and gave the loot to the poor.

!Book Ganma
!!Portrayed by: Kiyohito Yoshikai (voice), Jiro Uchikawa (suit)

A Ganma who assisted a Primal Body Ganma who was possessing Sakuma Risa in an attempt to gain the Nobunaga Eyecon, with his role being to spread his clones across different places to eventually raise a part of a city into the skies to create "Azuchi Castle" to Hashiba Nobuyoshi to further his corruption. They were almost successful before Ghost arrived and was able to defeat Book Ganma.
----
* AliceAllusion: The book he was fused with is ''Literature/AlicesAdventuresInWonderland'', and his costumes has aspects from different characters from the book, most notably the Mad Hatter.
* DoppelgangerAttack: He can create multiple clones of himself.
* DoppelgangerSpin: He attempts to pull this off when Ghost activates Omega Strike. Unfortunately for him, he did not know about Robin Hood Damashii's [[DoppelgangerAttack Omega Drive]].
* KilledOffForReal: Gets shot down by by Ghost Robin Hood Damashii's Omega Strike with the Gan Gun Saber in Arrow Mode, with help of Robin Hood Damashii's Omega Drive.
* MindOverMatter: He has some sort of telekinetic powers. Where he normally can only cause small objects to levitate, entire army of clones in certain locations allow them to lift an entire city-block into the skies.
* NiceHat: A top hat. The real Book Ganma even has a dodo bird on top of the top hat, who itself also wears a top hat.
* RuleOfSymbolism: His base design is an AliceAllusion, suggesting he was based on Creator/LewisCarroll, the book's author and a famous mathematician and logician.

A Ganma who alongside his "famiglia" was send into an elementary school for an unknown plan, with him making sure no one gets into the school. His plan manages to be successful, but only after Ghost defeats some of his companions, after which Specters drops in and finishes the job.
----
* ArmCannon: Has eight machine gun barrels in his right arm.
* AFatherToHisMen: A villainous example towards is "[[GratuitousItalian famiglia]]". He gets ''pissed'' when Ghost kills a few of the Commando Ganma under his command.
* BadassInANiceSuit: Dresses up like a typical gangster and is the first Ganma to really keep Ghost on the ropes.
* BackFromTheDead: Briefly comes back in episode 24 alongside Seiryuto Ganma in order to kill Alain, but neither of them last that long.
* BearTrap: For whatever reason, he has one for a mouth.
* CombatPragmatist: Has absolutely no qualms on keeping Akari and Onari hostage to prevent Ghost from attacking him before attacking.
--> '''Machine Gun Ganma''': ''You gotta do whatever it takes if you want to win, kiddo.''
* GratuitousItalian: Refers to the Commando Ganma under his command as his "famiglia"[[note]]Family[[/note]]
* MoreDakka: Natch.
* NiceHat: Not only does he wear a fedora with bullets holes what emit simulated smoke, the item he was infused with is a fedora.
* RuleOfSymbolism: This Ganma, quite obviously, is based on UsefulNotes/AlCapone, one of the most notoriously known gangsters of his time.
* TooDumbToLive: If he just didn't shoot Specter in the back, the rider would've taken care of Ghost and the problem would have resolved itself. Way to go.

!Onpu[[note]]translation: Music Note[[/note]] Ganma
!!Portrayed by: Norihisa Mori (voice), Jiro Uchikawa (suit)

A Ganma what was summoned courtesy of Kousuke Kimijima, whom he helped on composing his next masterpiece. However, his true plan was to make him connect with Beethoven so that he can then make Kousuke kill himself and such create the Beethoven Eyecon. His plan was foiled when Takeru broke his influence over Kousuke and summoned the Beethoven Parka Ghost, eventually leading his defeat.

He comes back in Episode 27 by Igor's will in order to create a composition to the launch event for Demia Project. However, he soon finds out that Igor isn't particularly interested in classical music at all...
----
* HeelFaceTurn: Changed sides in Episode 27, partially due to his new friendship with Cubi, partially because Igor was [[MistreatmentInducedBetrayal absolutely]] [[BadBoss horrible to him.]]
* KilledOffForReal: Gets finished off by Ghost Musashi Damashii's Omega Slash with the Gan Gun Saber in Twin Sword Style Mode followed up by Musashi's Omega Drive.
* NotSoDifferent: His reappearance in Episode 27 shows that he and Cubi have a lot in common. Both are dedicated to their craft and both had recently hit a slump. Though Cubi's was from artist's block and Onpu's was due to depression over Igor's verbal abuse.
* MusicalAssassin: He fights by creating musical notes which he then fires off.
* RuleOfSymbolism: A rather ironic one. He is based on Music/WolfgangAmadeusMozart, one of Beethoven's main inspirations in his musical career.
* WalkingTheEarth: With Cubi to find inspiration and get out of his slump.

While she provided to be the most persistent Ganma what Ghost has faced so far, he was able to break the people out of her control and defeat her once and for all.

----
* AllWebbedUp: [[spoiler:Takeru's method of countering her swarm ability? Using the Spider Lantern to create a giant web, snagging her like a giant sticky fly trap.]]
* BigCreepyCrawlies: If a humanoid wasp wasn't large enough, her Giant form is a giant queen bee on top of a bulldozer.
* {{Flight}}: She is capable of flying even without any actual wings.
* HighClassGlass: Wears a really large monocle. Which seems to come with the fact that the object she was fused with was a magnifying glass.
* KilledOffForReal: [[spoiler:Is blown away by Ghost Billy the Kid Damashii's Omega Impact with the added assistance of the Spider Lantern.]]
* NiceHat: A bright pink cowboy hat which is just there to tie in to the cowboy thing, apparently.
* NotQuiteDead: [[spoiler:She escapes death not once, but ''twice''. The first time she avoid Takeru's Omega Impact by sending a portion of her swarm to take the attack for her, and the second time she survives the destruction of her Giant Ganma form by evacuating her main body from it before Takeru destroys it. * OneToMillionToOne: She has the power to transform into a huge swarm of wasps.
* PuppeteerParasite: She can use her own wasps to take control of a huge group of people at once.
* TertiarySexualCharacteristics: Justified as all the evolved Ganma are armor pieces and accessories added to the same base Ganma suit.
* [[spoiler:TheWormThatWalks]]: [[spoiler: Her true form is a swarm of wasps and one tiny version of her combined body, which acts as the core of her being. This also means that as long as her core survives, she does.]]

He is successful on getting Takeru create the Benkei Eyecon, but only manages to get Makoto's Eyecons before he can get his hands on Takeru's collection, even if it puts Saionji in favourable situation.
----
* BadassBeard: He had a rather impressive beard, as anyone based on Guan Yu would have.
* BladeOnAStick: He wields a guandao, a type of Chinese polearm weapon, as his name might allure to.
* BreathWeapon: The dragon head is capable of shooting out fire.
* InstantAwesomeJustAddDragons: Downplayed; instead of having a entire dragon motif going on, the only draconic part of him is a trunk what looks like a dragon.
* KilledOffForReal: Gets smashed to pieces by Benkei Damashii's Omega Drive followed up by the Omega Bomber with the Gan Gun Saber in Hammer Mode.
* RuleOfSymbolism: Due of him being based on the [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Green_Dragon_Crescent_Blade Green Dragon Crescent Blade]], he is by extension based on Guan Yu, due of the said weapon being the one he uses in ''Literature/RomanceOfTheThreeKingdoms''. The relation with Benkei might come with the fact that Benkei and Guan Yu were both people who had {{undying loyalty}} towards their masters.

He used his electronic powers to attack anyone talking on a Cellphone or Smartphone, and then helped Alain take over a Radio Telescope so they could take control of the Satellite.
----
* BarrierWarrior: Can project a force-field that protects him and Katana from Edison Damashii's Omega Shoot.
* BashBrothers: Unlike the Spear Ganma, he actually aids the Katana Ganma in battle.
* ChestBlaster: Also can shoot planet-like projectiles out of his chest.
* KilledOffForReal: He gets blasted into nothing by Ryoma Damshii's Mega Omega Flash with the Sunglasseslasher in Sword Mode.
* RuleOfSymbolism: Based on Yuri Gagarin, the first man in space.
* ShockAndAwe: Capable of unleashing electronic attacks over a wide range, from electric bolts to {{EMP}}s.
* YourSoulIsMine: Was stealing souls from people who were talking on the phone and hijacked a satellite so he could do this over a ''huge'' area. They're all released upon his demise.

----
* BackpackCannon: The pipes in his back can be used to launch projectiles.
* FogOfDoom: He can generate purple fog he likes to ambush people in, which can also block phone signals and even cause people to levitate.
* NiceHat: Has a tophat seemingly attached to himself.
* KilledOffForReal: He gets sliced to pieces with Himiko Damashii's Omega Drive.
* RuleOfSymbolism: He is based on the notorious British serial killer UsefulNotes/JackTheRipper.
* ShearMenace: His pair of blades look like two giant scissor halves. Fitting, since a pair of scissors was the very object that Knife was infused with.

! Gazai [[note]]Art Supplies[[/note]] Ganma/[[spoiler:Cubi-chan]]

A Ganma who came to Earth alongside Igor in order to help him infiltrate a company building, after which Igor send him to paint more of the city. Unlike other Ganma, however, he has no real malice, and only wishes to just paint stuff.
----
* ArtShift: His power in a nutshell. Anything he paints gets replaced with his abstract version of it, from buildings to people. However the changes can be reversed by ripping the painting in half.
* BodyHorror: His entire body looks like an abstract painting, including his face being rather warped compared to other Ganma.
* {{Expy}}: He shares similar traits with [[Series/KamenRiderDrive Roidmude 072]], as both are {{Harmless Villain}}s who want to live peacefully with humans. [[spoiler: Unlike Roidmude 072, he survives.]]
* LoveItOrHateIt: InUniverse example. Onari ''despises'' his art, partially because it was affecting him, but Akari loves it.
* MadeOfIron: NonActionGuy or no, he took an Omega Drive from Necrom Specter that was meant to ''kill'' Takeru and was merely knocked unconscious.
* MeaningfulRename: Akari names him Cubi-chan after Cubism, the abstract art-style he practices.
* NiceGuy: Despite being a Ganma, all he really wants to do is paint. When he sees changing the Ghost Driver caused Takeru distress he apologized and tore the painting in half, reversing it's effects.
* NonActionGuy: He really has no way to fight at all, and doesn't really want to. All he has is his power, which is ultimately rather harmless.
* NonMaliciousMonster: Just wants to paint and is ObliviouslyEvil.
* ObliviouslyEvil: He only wishes to paint what he sees with no evil intentions to it. Unfortunately, the things he paint turn to resemble the collage paintings he makes, thus causing havoc.
* PutOnABus: After hitting a slump in his art, he eventually decided to go WalkingTheEarth to gather more inspiration alongside the recently befriended Onpu Ganma.
* RuleOfSymbolism: He is based on the 20th century artist UsefulNotes/PabloPicasso.
* TakingTheBullet: Takeru does this for him to save him from Igor. Later on he returns the favor by taking Necrom Specter's Omega Drive to save Takeru. [[spoiler: Thankfully, he survives.]]
* TheWorldIsJustAwesome: He ''loves'' the human world because of all the shapes it has in it. His favorite shapes to paint in particular are round things like Apples, Gas Tanks, and Onari's head.

As his project is advancing, Igor summons a sword-wielding Ganma to take care of Ghost and Specter in order to gain their Eyecons. However, she is less effective than he hopes for, due of her code of chivalry conflicting on just finishing the job.
----
* BrainwashedAndCrazy: Igor is forced to pull this on her to keep her head in the game.
* KilledOffForReal: She eventually meets a warrior's death by Ghost Toucon Boost Damashii's Omega Drive, utilizing the Sunglasseslasher.
* LetsFightLikeGentlemen: She finally gets a chance to go one-on-one with Takeru without any outside interference, staying true to her code of honor.
* NobleDemon: Another rarity among Ganma, she refuses to escalate the fight when near the defenseless.
* RuleOfSymbolism: A female Ganma despite her rather masculine-looking armor? It's UsefulNotes/JoanOfArc!
* PlayingWithFire: She can create blue flames to burn out person's soul and her SwordBeam manifest as a blue wave of fire.
* WouldntHurtAChild: Her code of honour prevents her to bring harm to children.
* WouldntHitAGirl: Her code of honour also prevents her to bring harm to women.
* WorthyOpponent: Considers Takeru one, [[spoiler: to the point where she didn't follow her orders to kill Cubi in order to have a duel with Takeru.]]

!Hikoki[[note]]Airplane[[/note]] Ganma
----
* FashionableAsymmetry: played straight with the first two Hikoki Ganma, which one of their shoulders being the propeller, the other one being the wing. Subverted with the third one, where both of his shoulders are the wings, with the propeller attached to his forehead.
* LargeHam: The younger brother's an eccentric one, often posing as if he ''is'' an airplane.
* MadBomber: While the younger one can shoot with his fingers, the older one goes for more devastating attacks using explosives and missiles.
* RuleOfSymbolism: like Grimm, he is based on 2 historical figures, and this time, they are UsefulNotes/TheWrightBrothers . He even has Orville Wright's mustache. It was revealed that there were 2 of them, the first one appeared in episode 25 is the younger brother, Orville and the other one is the the older brother, Wilbur.
** They may also based on Manfred and Lothar von Richthofen, the former of whom is also known as the "Red Baron", due to their red color schemes and their main ability being spraying gas, especially Hikoki Ganma Perfect who wears flight goggles.

Gigantic serpent-like creatures from the same world as the Ganma that serve them.

----

* CaptainErsatz: How did the [[Film/TheAvengers2012 Chitauri]] gave the Ganma their Leviathans!?
* EliteMooks: Alain got ticked off Javel 'wasted' them and the four we see are naturally stronger and larger than the average Giant Ganma.
* GiantFlyer: Despite looking more like giant snakes, they can fly pretty fast.
* GiantMook: They're ''gigantic'', being about 57 feet long and weighing about 19 tons. For reference, the Denki Ganma's OneWingedAngel form was only a third the size of one.
* InvisibleToNormals: Notably subverted and the biggest difference between them and the Ganma, as they appear to be naturally visible rather than needing to be revealed somehow.
* {{Kaiju}}: Have no humanoid form and are absolutely massive.
* OurDemonsAreDifferent: They're from the same world as the Ganma and look suitably demonic, but are even different from them.
* PrehensileTail: With talons, perfect for smacking a Rider around.
* UndyingLoyalty: Seem to have this, as one sacrificed itself to save Javel.

* TheEmpire
* {{Mooks}}: Commando Ganma.

* ArrogantKungFuGuy: Pre-HeelFaceTurn.
-->'''Alain:''' If I feel this way because I have a heart, ''then'' I don't need a heart.

* FinishingMove:

* EvenBadMenLoveTheirMamas: See UsedToBeASweetKid below.
* LightIsNotGood: His Ganma Ultima form is almost completely white.
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: [[spoiler:Takeru manages to break through Adel's defenses in Episode 48 and, along with an assist from Alia, shows Adel [[HeelRealization the error of his ways]]. It doesn't last long before the Ganmaizers [[GrandTheftMe forcibly]] [[FateWorseThanDeath assimilate him]], leaving Takeru with [[MercyKill no choice but to kill him]].]]
* OneWingedAngel: [[spoiler: Perfect Ganmaizer.]]
* VillainousBreakdown:

* BreakTheHaughty: See ArmorPiercingSlap above.
* TheDragon: To Adel.
* ManipulativeBastard
* SmugSmiler
* SmugSnake: Of all people, he has much ego for someone as genius as him.
* TakingTheBullet: [[spoiler: For ''Akari'' of all people in episode 48.]]
* {{Troll}}
* UglyGuyHotWife: [[spoiler:He marries Akari in the tie-in novel ''Memories of the Future'', making them this trope.]]

Emperor of the Ganma and father of Alain, Adel and Alia. Sent Javel to assist Alain.

----
* TheEmperor

[[folder:Mr. Bills]]
!! Steve Bills
!!! Portrayed by: Thane Camus

* KilledOffForReal: [[spoiler:He was permanently killed off by Danton during the events of ''[=Ghost RE:BIRTH: Kamen Rider Specter=]'' gaiden movie]].
* TimeMaster: In his first fight with the Kamen Riders, he rewinds time to protect himself from the Riders' Triple Rider Kick, thus forcing them to retreat.

* PsychoticSmirk
** SmugSmiler -> SlasherSmile
* WillfullyWeak: The Specter doppelganger intentionally allows himself to be [[CurbStompBattle curbstomped]] by the real Makoto to make [[{{Synchronization}} him feel pain]].

[[folder:Ganmaizers]]
!! Ganmaizers[[spoiler:/The Great Eyezer]]
!!! Portrayed by: Akihiro Mayama (live, voice from episode 35 onwards), Creator/SayakaOhara (voice until episode 34)

* {{BFG}}: Ganmaizer Rifle's true form.
* DishingOutDirt: Ganmaizer Planet.
* MakeMeWannaShout: Ganmaizer Oscillation.
* ShockAndAwe: Ganmaizer Electric.
* TheStraightAndArrowPath: Ganmaizer Arrow's true form.
* WeatherManipulation: Ganmaizer Climate.

!Katana[[note]]Sword[[/note]] Ganma
!!Portrayed by: Takahiro Fujiwara (voice), Yugo Fujii (suit)

A Ganma that was summoned and empowered alongside the Ganma that would become Yari. With Yari, Katana wreaked havoc on the city in search of the Eyecons until he met our hero... and killed him.
[[spoiler:Subverted when he comes back in episode 13, where he's killed again by Goemon Damashii with the Sunglasseslasher's Mega Omega Shine. Time will tell if it sticks.]]
* NiceJobFixingItVillain: Congrats on creating the very thing that continually kills off your kind on a weekly basis, Katana Ganma.
* RuleOfSymbolism: Katana is based on Sasaki Kojiro, who had died fighting Miyamoto Musashi. Fitting how it was Musashii Damashi that ended Katana [[spoiler: at first]].

----
* BladeOnAStick: Natch.
* RuleOfSymbolism: Yari is based on Houzouin In'ei, a Buddhist monk that developed the Houzouin-ryu style of spear combat that revolve around the jumonji yari, which is also the type of spearhead that Yari was empowered with.
** Interestingly, Miyamoto Musashi once fought someone who was trained in the style.

* RealityEnsues: Don't bring swords to a fight with a electricity-shooting monster.
In said story, the ship was claimed to be invisible/cloaked from any opposing battleships.
* ShockAndAwe: Par for the course.

His plan was foiled when Takeru broke Mari out of his influence and then used Robin Hood Eyecon to take him down.
----
* AnAxeToGrind: As his name suggests, though he specializes on throwing valleys of axes at his foes instead of just fighting up close. He also has a giant axe sticking out of his chest.

Way to go.

----

! Katchu [[note]]Armor[[/note]] Ganma
!! Portrayed by: Naoko Kouda (voice), Minoru Watanabe
* RuleOfSymbolism: A female Ganma despite her rather masculine-looking armor? It's UsefulNotes/JoanOfArc!
----

* VerbalTic: He has a habit of shoving the japanese onomatopoeia for a revving engine[[note]]DRRRRRRRR[[/note]] into his speech at random.

[[folder:Gundari]]
!!Gundari
[[quoteright:350:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/krgh_gandari_6.png]]

Added DiffLines:

** That it was never proven that Ganma Commandos are more than mindless puppets doesn't make thing much better.
* BerserkButton: Takeru is this to him for some time as Alain is [[GreenEyedMonster jealous]] because he thinks Takeru lured Makoto away from him. Makoto actually chose to follow Takeru of his own free will, but their attempts at explaining it to Alain just didn't get anywhere.

Added DiffLines:

* DeathIsSuchAnOddThing: As the world of Ganma is supposed to be free of death, it confuses him a great deal. His father's death throws him into messy HeroicBSOD. Following death of Grandma Fumi left him both in pain and completely dumbfounded.

Added DiffLines:

** [[spoiler: Death of Gradma Fumi]] causes slightly less severe one to him, but still as heartbreaking and important.

Added DiffLines:

* ItsAllMyFault: Tries to pin himself with the blame for [[TheLoad getting in way]] of defeating Ganmaizers. [[JustifiedTrope He does]], in fact, have only limited possibilities fighting anyone on the Ganmaizer level.

Added DiffLines:

* TheLoad: Feels like this because his loose grip on what it means to have a mortal body (and the mortal body itself) greatly limits his fighting abilities and overal usefulness in battle. Takeru and Makoto try to convince he is not to mixed results.

Added DiffLines:

Added DiffLines:

* WhatIsThisFeeling: Quotes this trope nearly word to word after [[spoiler: becoming mortal]]. It takes him a moment before he realizes that he is ''afraid'', of death in particular.

** Alain is also considered to be a {{Gender Flip}}ped version of [[Anime/CrossAnge Ange]], especially with his relations with his family in the Ganma royalty before he got thrown out of the kingdom by Adel.
** He is also similar to [[Anime/GoPrincessPrettyCure Towa Akagi]] as well since both were introduced as an enemy to the heroes before turning good and they seems to have an {{adorkable}} traits during their stay on Earth despite of their royal lineage.

Is that you, Nagato?
** His [[CainAndAbel relationship]] with his brother makes him the true [[WesternAnimation/AvatarTheLastAirbender Azula]].

*** The way Adel killed his own father surely might you of [[Series/KamenRiderWizard Medusa]] and Redyue aforementioned above.
*** He is essentially what [[Series/KamenRiderGaim Mitsuzane Kureshima]] would have been when it comes to their goals. They are both willing to kill anyone who defy their ambitions, especially among their families. [[spoiler: They also end up realizing the error of their ways at the worst time possible for them]].
*** His philosophy of perfectionism makes him an [[ContrastingSequelAntagonist antithesis]] to [[Series/KamenRiderGaim Kaito Kumon's]] SocialDarwinist filibusters. Whereas Kaito wanted to rid the world of those who would tout their strength and suppress the weak, Adel wants to eliminate those he deemed inferior and imperfect. Both display SmugSuper traits as a part to accomplish their goals and their monstrous forms -- the Perfect Ganmaizer and Lord Baron, are a definite match to the respective main Riders' final forms.
*** As the series progresses, he adopts some shades of [[Series/KamenRiderKuuga N-Daguva-Zeba]]. Like Daguva who disregards the lives of his own kind, Adel does the same thing to his own family.
** His ideology about his ambition and ideal utopia represent more like [[VideoGames/ResidentEvil Albert Wesker]], and he also rely on power addiction like Uroboros. So does Adel with Ganmaizer and Demia. Yet his monstrous form also looks like Adel perfect form. Due to his CombatTentacles attack style.

** He's also similar to the Franchise/MarvelCinematicUniverse incarnation of Comicbook/{{Loki}}. Kamen Rider fans can interpret Adel is what Loki would have been if he became the king of the Asgardians by dethroning Odin, and [[Film/ThorTheDarkWorld disguising himself as Odin]] serves as a small joke how Adel overthrew his father and became TheEmperor.
*** He's also one to [[ComicBook/{{Ultron}} the titular villain]] of ''Film/AvengersAgeOfUltron'', DaddyIssues aside, albeit a nearly-redeemable example. They both got a [[AGodAmI savior complex]], willing to commit great acts of terror on humanity in the name of a greater good -- Ultron with his genocidal mania for a better world and in Adel's case, he intents to create a perfect world in his own image.
** Him being the killer of Takeru's father also makes him one to [[VisualNovel/FateZero Kirei]] [[VisualNovel/FateStayNight Kotomine]].
** Adel is also considered as the Kamen Rider versions of both [[Manga/DragonBall Cell and Frieza]] -- both are SmugSuper {{Narcissist}}s and [[TheSociopath megalomaniacal sociopaths]]. Adel mostly has Frieza's traits from [[AGodAmI god complexes]] to standard sociopathic ego, his Perfect Ganmaizer form parallels Cell's Perfect Form.

** The [[Anime/MobileSuitGundam00 Regene Regetta]] to Adel's Ribbons Almark, as well as a more benevolent and matured [[Series/CrossAnge Sylvia Ikaruga Misurugi]] and a {{Gender Flip}}ped [[Anime/GoPrincessPrettyCure Prince Kanata]] to Alain's Angelise Ikaruga Misurugi and Towa Akagi.
** She is also one of [[Series/KamenRiderGaim Mai Takatsukasa]], both are shown to care for their loved ones (friends for Mai and siblings for Alia respectively). Also, like Mai, Alia tries to reason out with his brother upon his descent into madness.
** She is also similar to [[Manga/{{Naruto}} Konan]] when it comes to Adel's Nagato.

** Cast in the same mold as [[Series/KamenRiderDrive Brain]] for being an EvilGenius with ButtMonkey traits of their respective groups.
*** He is also a more cunning and sardonic version of [[Series/KamenRiderGaim Lock Dealer Sid]], minus the bowler hat.
** He's a more jerkass version of [[VideoGame/PokemonBlack2AndWhite2 Colress]].
** He is a smarter [[Manga/{{Bleach}} Gin Ichimaru]] to Adel's Sosuke Aizen.

The doppelganger's sacrifice to save Makoto evokes that during Samus's fight against the Omega Metroid, where Samus absorbs the SA-X.

* [[spoiler:DisposableWoman: Averted. While she is defeated in her only fight as Dark Necrom P, she survived the story; making her the first female Rider since [[Series/KamenRiderWizard Mayu]] to survive the stories of her series.]]

* BrokenStreak: Book is the first Ganma to use an English word for his motif.

* BrokenStreak: Machine Gun is the first empowered Ganma who's infused object and name do not explicitly match. He's also the first Ganma to ''not'' be after a Ghost Eyecon, instead being a part of some longer term goal of the Ganma.

* BrokenStreak: Onpu is the first Ganma to not be destroyed by Ghost's newly obtained Damashii form.

* BrokenStreak: She is the first Ganma to not be based on any actual historical figure. Instead, her inspiration came from Bee Woman, the first female MonsterOfTheWeek of the Kamen Rider series. Not to mention that she's also the first Ganma to [[spoiler:last more than one episode]].
** Though some have drawn comparisons between her and renowned entomologist, Jean-Henri Fabre.

* BrokenStreak: [[spoiler: Unlike other monsters like him, he survives.]]

Sharing character traits like slasher smiles and ax craziness does not an expy make.

** Given to his AxCrazy mannerisms and psychotic grins, he can really put [[Series/KamenRiderRyuki Takeshi Asakura]] and [[Series/KamenRiderDouble Katsumi Daido]] to shame.
