Julie's Greenroom Characters:
Miss Julie:
A teacher to the Greenies.- The Mentor: To all the Greenies.
Gus
Miss Julie's assistant.- Hypercompetent Sidekick: Miss Julie is far from incompetent, but Gus usually handles the Greenies while she's away helping to prepare for their musical.
- Speaks Fluent Animal: He acts as Hugo's translator, having studied Duck at Juilliard. Guest star Bill Irwin can also speak Duck, due to Rule of Funny— he is a clown, after all.
Tropes that apply to all the Greenies:
- Five-Token Band: Peri is Asian, Fizz is Latina, Riley is non-binary, Spike is black, and Hank is paraplegic.
Peri:
A little puppet girl who loves to sing and dance.- The Diva: Could be described as "Rachel Berry as a five year-old."
(Penelope Guadalupe Fitzgerald Sanchez) "Fizz":
- Only Known by Their Nickname: She goes by "Fizz" instead of her Overly Long Name.
- Overly Long Name: Penelope Guadalupe Fitgerald Sanchez.
- The Woobie: Fizz just can't seem to catch a break. From accidentally almost ruining Miss Julie's birthday surprise, to hurting her knee trying to do a leap in ballet, to accidentally breaking Joshua's violin...
Riley:
A nonbinary member of the Greenies. They like the stage crew and technical productions side of theater, and is frequently working on different inventions to make special effects for the musical.- Ambiguous Gender: They're meant to be nonbinary.
- Gadgeteer Genius: Invents various different machines to produce special effects for the show, from a fog machine to a high-powered fan to make wind.
- Redhead In Green: Wears a green blazer.
Spike:
Spike is the writer of the group, and is in charge of writing the script to the Greenies' musical. He carries a notebook where he writes down big words he hears people say in his "Word Bank."- Black and Nerdy: Not exactly nerdy, but very studious and loves words and vocabulary.
Hank:
A boy who uses a wheelchair, and is the musician of the group. He wants to play in the orchestra pit.- Wheelchair Antics: He pops wheelies all the time (including in the opening theme song), and has attatched patches and decorations to the back of his chair. During the musical, it serves as his horse when he's playing Prince Harold.
Hugo:
A duck that takes part in the theater.- Speech-Impaired Animal: Hugo speaks Duck, which appears like this trope to the human characters. Like Blue, he speaks with normal inflection that a human would use while talking, but every word is "Quack!"
- Team Pet: To the Greenies.
