HZ
- Revenant Zombie: HZ is a zombie who can still walk and talk like a normal human. Though it has done no favors for her intelligence.
- Stupid Good: HZ has a habit of accidentally being nice to something dangerous or evil at first meeting, sometimes even helping without realizing what's wrong until it's too late.
- Ghost Amnesia: HZ has no memories of who she was or what she was like before she died.
- Cuddle Bug: HZ often shows her love and affection to others through hugs. She also loves receiving hugs, often responding with "happy zombie noises" or a cat-like purr.
- Happily Adopted: Though her dads Ancer and E. Mann may be strange and really inexperienced with parenting, HZ loves them both dearly.

- Blue-Collar Warlock: Technically Blue Collar Cleric, Seth is very much a mage and proud of it.

A wax statue of a baseball player brought to life.- Batter Up!: In combat, Billy wields a baseball bat.
- The Gadfly: He makes a point to be deliberately irritating to people he doesn’t like.
Athena
- Power Stereotype Flip: Athena is calm, collected, and wears a lot of blue. So first assumption is that she has water powers or some sort of other magic associated with this personality. But no, Athena uses fire magic, specifically of the demonic kind.
- Ambiguously Absent Parent: Athena's blood related parents are never shown, and no one knows where they went or why they left Athena behind.
Ancer
- Magical Barefooter: Ancer refuses to wear shoes of any kind. Mostly it's because he's too old to give a crap about what others think of him, but it's also beneficial to his magical ability. Shoes are too uncomfortable and can distract him, causing a spell to go horribly wrong.

- Evil Parents Want Good Kids: Taeriel, a well known demoness who has spent her life in the Underworld killing, plundering, and taking territory for herself, does everything in her power to raise Athena to be better than her. She truly wants her child to be an upstanding citizen so she can live a normal life instead of being feared and hated like her.
