The Normandy Crew
In General
A group of ragtag soldiers, warriors, engineers, archeologists and Nobodies who have banded together to take on the threats and dangers of not one but two galaxies.- Ragtag Band of Misfits: Wrex and later Nakmor Drack comment on this and frankly, is one of the most accurate descriptions of the Normandy crew, now more so than in canon with the addition of people like Roxas, Axel, Xion, Stitch and Della Duck.
Roxas
The Key of Destiny. The Nobody of Sora. Once No. XIII of the Organization who wound up in the Milky Way galaxy, joining the crew of the Normandy. He learned of the deception of Xemnas to him and those closest to him. He now works to prepare for the eventual confrontations he'll have with the Organization and the Reapers when the time comes.- Affectionate Gesture to the Head: Poor Roxas is at the receiving end of this all the time. Hair ruffles from Axel, noogies from Shepard and Ashley, the works.
- Amnesiac Hero: At the start, due to not having any memories to start with Roxas fakes being one as to avoid any further suspicion he would have invoked in the beginning of his journey.
- Attack! Attack! Attack!: Roxas' plan for dealing with anything. Lampshaded when Shepard asks him if he has a strategy other than that.
- Inter Species Romance: Is in a relationship with Tali'Zorah who is a Quarian.
- Precision F-Strike: Roxas performs a very pointed one against DiZ when calling him out on his Fantastic Racism against Nobodies.
- Trademark Favorite Food: Sea-Salt Ice Cream, an addiction he gets from Axel that soon gets passed onto the rest of the Normandy Crew.
- You Didn't Ask: The usual response Roxas gives to anyone and everyone when asked about certain information and revelations. He's not one to hide secrets and such though Axel does state that he can't always use that tactic against everyone.
Axel
The Flurry of Dancing Flames. The Nobody of Lea. Formerly No. VIII of the Organization, once learning of the treachery by Xemnas, Axel defected, joining Roxas in teaming with the Normandy Crew as they tackled many threats and dangers in a new galaxy far from home.- Big Brother Instinct: Acts this way towards Roxas and Xion.
- Trademark Favorite Food: Sea-Salt Ice Cream, serving also as Roxas' benefactor into eventually getting him addicted to the ice cream as well and in turn, the Normandy team.
Xion
Formerly No. XIV of the Organization. A puppet created by the Organization who was originally made to copy and steal the powers of the Keyblade from Roxas, she now journeys with him and Axel alongside their many friends as she forges an identity for herself to no longer just be a puppet.Jane Shepard
The Leader of the Normandy and the first human Spectre, Jane becomes something of a role model and older sister figure for Roxas and Xion.- Amnesiac Hero: After being trapped in the Realm of Darkness, Shepard forgets everything about herself. The only reason she knows her name is because she found her dog tags.
- The Leader: Serves as the Leader of the Normandy crew.
- Big Sister Instinct: Often treats Roxas and Xion as younger siblings, acting as a source of guidance and comfort while also engaging in "sisterly" affection such as noogies and such whenever they annoy or worry her.
Tali'Zorah
A Quarian who met Roxas during her pilgrimage, becoming his first friend in the Milky Way Galaxy and getting swept up in the madness that followed him, opening her up to an entirely new spectrum of possibilities.Garrus Vakarian
A C-sec officer with an unconventional means of doing things compared to the rest of his species. Joins the Normandy crew as its premier Sniper.Ashley Williams
System Alliance Marine with a chip on her shoulder due to her family legacy who becomes an invaluable friend and comrade to the Normandy Crew.- Adaptational Nice Guy: Ashley doesn't exhibit any of the Fantastic Racism she does in canon.
- Big Sister Instinct: Like with Shepard, growing up with sisters of her own, Ashley acts as an older sister to Roxas and later, Xion. Whenever she is not on a mission and gets a message that her family is around, she always makes time to see them.
Kaidan Alenko
A human biotic and dedicated Systems Alliance Marine who is steadfast and loyal to his friends.Liara T'Soni
A shy and introverted Prothean architect and historian at the start, she soon gets swept up into the crazy adventures of the Normandy crew.Urdnot Wrex
700 year old Krogan Battlemaster. Joins up with the Normandy crew and learns he hasn't really seen it all yet. Organization XIII
