- Fatal Flaw: His lack of confidence. Despite his excellent skill in the kitchen, Kiibo would constantly doubt himself and not feel like he's up to the task. This would convince Ramsay to not send Kiibo through to the finals.

- The Generic Girl: Despite making it to the top nine, she never really stood out much.

- The Load: Despite making it to the top ten, Abby was easily one of the season's weakest contestants. She constantly screwed up in service, and her challenges ranged from mediocre to downright awful. It's to the extent that she was nominated more times than she was actually not, and those times she survived, she only managed to due to other chefs doing worse than her. Come the final ten however, and she would run out of room.

- Fatal Flaw: Hamish was a solid chef, but the moment he was put into a leadership role, he wound up tanking. The service where Ramsay expected him to lead saw him not respond several times and cause the kitchen to fall into chaos, and ultimately resulted in his elimination over the usually awful Abby.
- The Generic Guy: Didn't really stand out amongst the Blue Team for the most part.

- Alliterative Name: Walter White
- In Name Only: He is clearly being based on the character from Breaking Bad, yet there are not many references to him. There were ocassional comments made by Jesse about his experiences with Walter, as well as references to his cooking crystal meth, but other than that there isn't much.

- Cloud Cuckoo Lander: For sure.
- Cordon Bleugh Chef: He served, and I kid you not, a pizza with banana, fish, and eggs. You can probably guess what he scored.
- Dirty Old Man: To keep things brief (which is probably for the best), this behavior was primarily towards Abby, who he would constantly make sexual advances and remarks towards in the confessionals and in the dorms.
- Epic Fail: Do I really need to elaborate?
- Kaizo Trap: Despite winning the first service he was still eliminated because of how terrible he was.
- Poor Communication Kills: Pretty much all of his mistakes were on account of his poor communication. For example, when asked how long he had on his meat, he said it would come "in a bit." That's an incredibly vague amount of time. Not helpful in a kitchen.
- We Hardly Knew Ye: Since he only lasted one episode. This is still considerably downplayed since everyone knew him more than enough by the end.
- What Were You Thinking?: Terrence thought it was a bright idea to sneak into the red team's bedroom and steal a pair of Abby's panties. This did not go unpunished as Ramsay found out about it and demanded he return them when he was eliminated.
