Shiva King

- Mad Scientist: The leader of a group of them, and he fits the trope the most traditionally. His eventual wish is to create human life, and he's quite passionate about dissections.
- Old Shame: In-Universe. Ceol, his teenage writing pseudonym.
- Religious and Mythological Theme Naming: Shiva is the god of destruction, meditation, time and arts. He's also lord of the Devas, similarly how our Shiva is the leader.
- Skewed Priorities: He mourns a lost tea set that Trischka drops when she is 'killed'.
Shinobu Miura

- Artificial Limbs: His left arm is an incredibly lifelike artificial limb Shiva made for him, after the original was lost in an accident.
- Meaningful Name: His name is spelt with the same kanji as the one used in the name of another Shinobu - 忍, meaning 'to suffer/endure'. It's also a heart (心) under a blade (刃).
Adam

- Badass Adorable: When he kills that humanoid.
- Butt-Monkey: He often gets it at the short end of the stick, as he's a researcher trainee and not full-fledged. He is mostly tasked with the household-tasks (together with Shinobu, mostly). This is because the manor does not have staff, as Shiva scared them all away.
- Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: Sure, he's the youngest of the bunch and often the dog that is kicked, but he has managed to kill a humanoid with just his scissors.
- Named After Somebody Famous: Given his hair color, scar and general universe, it is likely that he is named after Frankenstein's monster, who was named Adam.
