Takami Keigo
The main protagonist of Fear of You. He is a very clever but scarred child. A recuring motivation of his are Primal fears.
- All-Loving Hero: Averted. Keigo is very compassionate and empathetic young child, trying to protect his father, but he can be selfish too. He is disgusted by himself.
- Child Prodigy: Despite his young age, Keigo's negotiation skills and quick thinking save his father's life. He also is The Redeemer of Shinyo's heel-turn and displays Troubling Unchildlike Behavior, because of his past.
In the fanfiction he is 5 years old (recently turned).
Takami Shinyo
The early main antagonist/protagonist of Fear of You. He is a strong but deeply flawed man and only learns to love and protect his son over the duration of the story.
He starts out as a abusive parent but upon getting to know Keigo closer, he realizes the error of his ways in a My God, What Have I Done?. He learns that his own past is no excuse to abuse Keigo and tries to break the cycle of bad parenting.
- Blood Knight: Especially young Shinyo is shown to enjoy the thrill of a fight.
- It's Personal with the Dragon: Despite being hunted by Oji Harima, the one going out to hunt Shinyo is his own brother, Takami Junto/Harima Junto.
He is 26 years old (soon 27), and has No Social Skills.
Endeavor - Todoroki Enji
He is a Glory Hound and very strong pro Hero. He is an old enemy/former friend (??) of Takami Shinyo and tries to capture him and his son.Endeavor can be very formal and stoic, albeit in a cold sort of way, but the Takami Thief is a Berserk Button of his.
- Abusive Parent: Endeavor is abusing his whole family, because of his Fatal Flaw, Pride and Selfishness. It is implied that he never feels good enough and tries to resolve his Inferiority Superiority Complex by becoming the number one hero.
- Blood Knight: Like Shinyo, Endeavor seems to enjoy fighting.
The timeline of the fanfiction implies that Endeavor is about 28 years old.
Endeavor - Todoroki Touya
Touya is often a threat to Keigo, due to the enemy-relationship of their fathers. However he is abused and foreshadowed to leave Endeavor's care. Despite his young age he seems to be Desperately Looking for a Purpose in Life.In the fanfiction he is obvious to the fact that his father is abusing him and he is even Calling the Old Man Out. He is very protective of his family too.
- Fiery Stoic: Despite his hot temper, he is more quiet, reserved, and mature than normal.
He is said to be 6 years old (recently turned).
