Main Story Heroes
The protagonist and player character, he's a seemingly ordinary high school student that found himself in another world for some reason. He's now on an adventure with the Goldentor princess Luna in order to learn more about this other world while finding out why the royal artifact Porrun chose him as its true owner and if there's any way for him to go back home.
- Barrier Warrior: His main shtick is to create shields (secondary HP bars) for the whole party based off his maximum HP. This makes him very useful in situations where an enemy has a strong AoE attack and Sei has high enough HP to create shields that can take the damage. The shields he creates will still depend on the defensive stats of the heroes it's applied to in terms of its effectiveness though.
- Chick Magnet: Is the subject of interest for a few of the girls in the main party like Luna and Florence, (unintentionally) managed to make Chloe swoon for him over the course of Chapter 2, and is the subject of Orslaha's affections.
- Establishing Character Moment: The animated cutscene before the story's prologue shows Sei getting dragged into playing a fantasy tabletop game session with his Child Prodigy sister and dungeon master, Akari. At that moment, the party must sacrifice one of their members to defeat a dragon before getting to the Demon Lord. Unwilling to sacrifice anyone, he lets the protagonist character take the fall instead, despite Akari reminding him that said protagonist has a sister waiting for him.
- Faking Amnesia: Sei is faking amnesia in order to get informed about how the parallel world he's now in works. Subverted as it's shown that it does seem like he has lost memories about this other world after all, judging from the figments of memories he apparently has with Orslaha. The opening cutscenes for Chapter 4 even straight out show Sei having ended up in this world before, but forgot due to unknown reasons.
- Laser-Guided Amnesia: Various flashbacks and Chapter 4 all show that Sei has been to this other world before and has met Orslaha, but had forgot all about it upon returning to Earth due to unknown reasons.
- Luckily, My Shield Will Protect Me: His main arms in battle, created from Porrun itself. Still has it in his Guardian form, but he favors using a sword instead.
- Taking the Bullet: One of his Ascension Passives for his first Active Skill has him apply the Bodyguard status effect upon himself, wherein he can take a portion of damage dealt on a party member unto himself. If not careful though, this ability may end up getting Sei killed in battle, such as situations when it's used to divert most of an AoE skill's damage unto him.
- Took a Level in Badass: He's already a bit of a badass for participating in battles even as an Ordinary High-School Student, but he truly becomes this once he takes on the Hero mantle in Chapter 4.
- Trapped in Another World: During what was just a simple role-playing game session with his sister (using an advanced hologram table that would not have been found in our world, implied to have been made by his genius sister), he found himself in another world entirely. Turns out, this wasn't his first rodeo with the whole isekai thing.
Princess of the Kingdom of Goldentor and was the supposed heir to the throne until Porrun, the proof of succession, chose Sei as its owner than her. She's now on an adventure with Sei in order to find out how to regain Porrun while dealing with the Dargon problem by taking on the various towers all over the continent of Arrier.
- Clingy Jealous Girl: Subdued, but she does react a bit whenever Sei gets chummy with another girl. Comes to a head in Chapter 4 when her jealousy over Sei worrying over Orslaha's condition has her storm off within the deep forests of Dranpia, getting sighted by the Gainesis Colossus, and ending up getting Orslaha poisoned by its breath.
- Critical Hit Class: She's a single-target DPS-focused Hero that has a great focus in critical hits. Her basic attack has an Ascension Passive that boosts her Skill Damage on critical hit and boosted by her critical hit chance, Her first Active Skill gives her a 70% chance of giving herself a critical hit chance buff (guaranteed if you use the skill's first Ascension Passive), and her second Active Skill's Ascension Passives are both self-buffs that have activation chances affected by her critical hit chance stat.
- Cynic–Idealist Duo: The Idealist, being the Wide-Eyed Idealist that wishes for world peace and coexistence between the three races as she actively fights for said wish, to her older brother Gaffs's Cynic, who's much more of a realist and a militaristic person.
- Death from Above: Her second Active Skill, "Moonlight Judgment", has her summon a beam of light shaped like her rapier that arcs and strikes an enemy from above.
- Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold
- Kicking Ass in All Her Finery: Fights Dargon and ne'er-do-wells in her frilly royal garb.
- Playing with Fire: Her element is Fire, but her attacks and skills look more appropriate for a fighter that uses Light more than anything.
- Royals Who Actually Do Something: A much more active royal in protecting the people than her pragmatic and militaristic older brother Gaffs, as she protects them herself and is on a quest to alleviate, if not stop, the Dargon problem by dealing with the towers.
- Ship Tease: With Sei.
- Silk Hiding Steel: She's a polite person most of the time and is basically deferential to her older brother, especially when he makes a point in Chapter 0-5 about how an important head of state risking her life in battle would do more than just trouble the kingdom. Nevertheless, she won't let her position stop her from doing what needs to be done.
A gardener in Goldentor's royal palace and a talented healer/medic. One of Luna's most trusted confidants.
Esteemed daughter of the Marquis of Aspodel and the heir to the ducal house. She is travelling with Sei and Luna's party to expand her horizons.
- An Ice Person: She creates ice crystals she magically flings at enemies, which also slows them down in gameplay.
A student council prefect from the Tech-State of Tan who's not good with machines and technology and, as such, has led her to pursue the way of the sword. She's travelling with Sei and Luna's party to track down a certain someone again after the events of Chapter 2.
A young Macnardian girl who was supposedly untalented in fighting. After the events of Chapter 3 where she eventually becomes recognized as a warrior, she joins Sei and Luna's party to become a much stronger warrior than she is now.
