Main Characters

Nikon Luca (both)

The former private physician to council member Kuznetsov and the protagonist.

• Badass Bookworm: Is a doctor and researcher into the field of biology. Will definitely kick you ass.
• Combat Medic: Both seem rather oddly good at fighting, with High Chaos implying some sort of violent past the two likely share.
• Combat Pragmatist: Both versions fight remarkably dirty. They aim for painful or crippling parts, throw distractions, and are not afraid to use the environment to dispatch their enemies.
• Good Smoking, Evil Smoking / Smoking Is Cool: Both seem to enjoy smoking cigarettes, and often in similar situations (usually during conversations or when walking). As for the Good or Evil, in Dishonored, almost Everybody Smokes, so it's hard to judge.
• Sophisticated as Hell: They both are capable of using medical terminology and advanced vocabulary as well as strings of swear words and profanity. They tend not to mix them, though.
• The Teetotaler: Both don't like to drink, and for primarily the same reason: It makes it harder to work.

Nikon Luca (Low Chaos)

The Low Chaos version of Nikon Luca, a "bleeding heart" type.

• All-Loving Hero: Seems to hold an unconditional love and caring to all human beings as a doctor, and will always try to help if possible.
• High-Pressure Emotion: When embarrassed, his face goes pink.
• Humble Hero: Really doesn't think too much of himself, seeing himself merely as a doctor. Everyone else, especially his assistant Diana, have to remind him that he is more than that.
• Japanese Politeness: While not from Japan, he is certainly noted as polite and courteous to those he meets. He's also humble and prone to speaking rather formerly.
• Nice Guy: It's hard to get around it really, he's just a genuinely good guy at heart.
• Thou Shall Not Kill: Dislikes killing, and always tries to knock out guards or give them nonlethal injuries.

Nikon Luca (High Chaos)

The High Chaos version of Nikon Luca, noted for being rather cold and vain.

• Consummate Professional: Applies this to medicine, and it makes him incredibly good at his job. He often speaks in a dull monotone as he works on patients, and seems to hold himself to a very high ideal.
• Deadpan Snarker: Even mentally he often thinks of morbid jokes or insults to others, though he does tend to keep it to himself.
• Dr. Jerk: He's rather abrasive and sarcastic compared to his Low Chaos variant, and even he admits that he finds it astonishing Diana willing works for him. While actually on the job as a doctor though, he goes for a more cold and methodical approach over outright hostile.
• The Gadfly: Seems to like pushing the boundaries of acceptable behavior, especially around strangers. He remembers that Prince Kallisar was represented in a pornographic play (The Young Prince of Tyvia) and reminds him about it to his face.
• Insistent Terminology: Refers to himself as a surgeon over a doctor.
• Pragmatic Villainy: While not villainous, Nikon regardless has a personal distaste for mustard gas, and implies that if he had access to something like modern-day nerve agent, he'd use that instead, as he can stand killing but dislikes suffering.
