Here is a list of characters from the Abyssal Ones, an ancient and powerful group of eldritch deities that eventually met its end at the hooves of Equusian sapientkind.

General
- Eldritch Abomination: All of the Abyssal Ones were primordial deities so old that no one (except likely the Grand Primevals) know where they came from, including the Abyssal Ones themselves. And because deities age differently than mortals, all of them are extremely eldritch in appearance, nature, and powers. When two Abyssal Ones, Ymlezt'xix and Cthadr'mag, were overpowered and assimilated by mortals, it turned the mortals in question into eldritch deities as well, powers and all.
- Expy: The Abyssal Ones were largely inspired by the Great Old Ones from the Cthulhu Mythos, and roughly fulfill the same roles in the Codexverse. Unlike their character inspirations, however, they're not so invincible and can be killed — with the Abyssal Ones being driven to extinction during the Abyssal Wars save for one, Queen Kthoryu.
- Götterdämmerung: The Abyssal Wars near the end of the Third Age saw them awaken en masse, leading to a gigantic global war as everyone fought the Abyssal Ones for the fate of their planet. By its end, Kthoryu was left the sole-surviving "pure blooded" Abyssal One, while the rest were killed in battle.
- Karmic Death: Since time immemorial, the Abyssal Ones had antagonized Equusian sapientkind and didn't care about the deaths and destruction they left behind, never bothering to understand why this was a bad thing. They also let their mortal children, the Oceanaiads, try to conquer the world in their name. This finally came back to bite them in the Third Age when Equusian sapientkind succeeds in wiping them out, ending the Abyssal Ones as a race. The only pure-blooded Abyssal One left is Kthoryu, and she survived by virtue of learning to empathize with the beings her family tormented for millions of years.
- Time Abyss: True to their name, the Abyssal Ones are so ancient that even they don't know where they came from. According to Kthoryu, all she remembers from the first moments of her life is the abyss.

- Expy: Of Father Dagon, one of the progenitors/leaders of the Deep Ones.

- Expy: Of Mother Hydra, one of the progenitors/leaders of the Deep Ones.

Ymlezt'xix
An Abyssal One encountered in the Second Age. They were devoured by Endless Dreams.
- God-Eating: Their attempt to Mind Rape and possess a mortal Endless Dreams goes horribly wrong when, through sheer force of will, Endless Dreams breaks their mind and assimilates them into herself, Ascending to eldritch godhood.
- Karmic Death: They're responsible for the kidnapping of Endless Dreams through their cult, and when she was chosen to be a living vessel, Ymlezt'xix tried to Mind Rape her into submission so they could use her body to enter the waking world and wreak havoc. They meet their end when Endless Dreams overpowered them by sheer force of will and assimilated them into herself, Ascending to eldritch godhood.
- Sealed Evil in a Can: It's believed In-Universe that they were sealed within the Dream world, with a cult forming to free them and let them loose upon the waking world. This led to Endless Dreams being kidnapped and chosen to be their living vessel, though it backfired majorly as no one expected how strong her willpower is.
Cthadr'mag
An Abyssal One encountered in the Third Age. They were devoured by Tranquil Dream.
- God-Eating: Their attempt to possess and corrupt Tranquil Dream goes horribly wrong when, through sheer force of will, he breaks their mind and assimilates them into himself, Ascending to eldritch godhood.
- Karmic Death: During the Abyssal Wars, they rampaged throughout the Dream realms, not caring about the consequences their actions might have on the waking world. After they were gravely wounded, they tried possessing a weakened Queen Pillow Talk/Dulce to continue their rampage. They meet their end when Tranquil Dream tricks them into possessing him instead, before overpowering and assimilating them by sheer force of will, Ascending to eldritch godhood.
