In General
- Living Toys: They're basic form is that of a sentient plush toy.
- Satellite Character: Besides the Bun-Bun owned by Paige and Lincoln's Bun-Bun, the Bun-Buns are only ever seen alongside their masters, and are primarily defined by said relationship.
- Servant Race: They all serve as servants of certain characters.
- Uncatty Resemblance: With the single exception of the original Bun-Bun, all Bun-Buns share a resemblance to their respective owners in their basic, toy-like forms. Going by Bun-Bun's transformation sharing a bigger resemblance to Lincoln, this probably applies to the other Bun-Buns as well.

Lincoln's Bun-Bun, and the original Bun-Bun.
- Monster Progenitor: He's supposedly the first Bun-Bun to ever exist.
Proto-Lola's Bun-Bun
A Bun-Bun owned by Proto-Lola, which Leia calls to help her deal with Carol during the climax of the Proto-Lola arc.
- Killer Rabbit: What else do you expect from a Bun-Bun owned by a Proto-Sister?

Margo's Bun-Bun
A Bun-Bun owned by Margo. They help her
- What Happened to the Mouse?: When Margo returns in the Proto-Lana arc, her Bun-Bun isn't seen with her.
Paige's Bun-Bun
A Bun-Bun owned by Paige. They serve as both a backpack of sorts, and a power source for the mecha Paige takes with her to the fight in Proto-Lana's arc.
- Powered by a Forsaken Child: They're the power source for Paige's mecha. Unlike most examples, though, they're doing it willingly.

Linka's Bun-Bun
A Bun-Bun owned by Linka. She shows them briefly to the wandering Bun-Bun in order to prove her friends that it didn't belong to her.
- Alternate Self: Of Lincoln's Bun-Bun, obviously.
The Wandering Bun-Bun
A Bun-Bun that was founded by Ron Andy and Claudia from the Genderbended Dimension. They're eventually taken by the chain breakers after Link gets them.
- Living Macguffin: For some reason, the chain breakers were looking for them.
