A guild for magicians and home to the notorious Shicmuon, headed by his father Lanoste. Appears to have a rivalry with Opion. Seems to be disliked in general due to its Wild Card nature.

Awakened Name: Shicmuon
A first-rank magician working for the Association. He has a hair-trigger temper and is interested in little outside the Black Magician, going to obsessive lengths to meet him. He witnessed Blow's actions on "that day" and has since made it his life's goal to track him down and kill him. While extremely powerful, he's not ideal for high-profile missions, as he's nearly impossible to control and has, to date, been subdued only by two magicians: Blow and Lanoste.
His specialty is fire magic and his primary mode of attack is through enormous floating mana circles.
He is currently one of the few who knows the Black Magician's true identity.
- Ax-Crazy: Even so much as mentioning the Black Magician in front of him is enough to trigger this.
- Does Not Like Men: Gender inverted. While he doesn't openly deride them, he doesn't seem to appreciate women very much and is openly hostile to both Tessiana and Rubymonter.
- Fiery Redhead: Especially when he's in his Awakened form, where his hair goes from mahogany to bright red.
- Hair-Trigger Temper: Woe unto anyone foolish enough to attempt to deceive him in anything related to the Black Magician.
- I'll Kill You!: Basically his Catchphrase in regards to Blow.
- Laughing Mad: When he confirms Rood's secret identity as Blow.
- New Transfer Student: Infiltrates Helios on Lanoste's orders as hereis Asujen Baldwin, much to the annoyance of the other hereis.
- No Social Skills: He does what he wants, when he wants, regardless of the people around him. He shamelessly attempts to follow Rood to the bathroom when the latter very obviously changes his destination to try to get away from him.
- Stalker without a Crush: Obsessively hounds Blow like it's no one's business.
Awakened Name: Formerly Shicmuon (No longer can awaken as such after passing his mark of the magician on to his son.)
Head of the Magician's Association. He's shown to have a relaxed and whimsical nature (oftentimes inappropriately), though he also has a manipulative side. He's implied by Master to be the father of Shicmuon (which is supported by their identical hair and eye color in their un-Awakened forms.) It has later revealed in the manga that he is in fact Shicmuon's father.
He has the ability to cancel a magician's Awakening, though it's unknown if this extends to magicians outside of Shic.
- Dissonant Serenity: He's completely at ease when Shic blows up part of the town, calmly instructing Van to "go fetch him."
- Long-Haired Pretty Boy: Shicmuon's late mother asked that he grew his hair out because that is what she preferred.
- Wild Card: Much like the organization he heads, his allegiance is entirely unknown, and while he seems to have stayed out of trouble with the Tower thus far, he has engaged in morally questionable practices such as bribery.
Awakened Name: Unknown
A magician of the Association. He's often relegated to the role of "Shic's babysitter," to his dismay, though he's rarely able to contain him anyway. Due to his Awakened form, he's earned the nickname "Lanoste's Dog," also to his dismay.
- Butt-Monkey: Comes with the territory when working with the likes of Shic and Lanoste.
- Embarrassing Nickname: He hates being called Lanoste's Dog.
- Facial Markings: He has a small tattoo on his chin in both forms.
- Little Bit Beastly: In his Awakened form, he has dog ears and a tail, earning him his Embarrassing Nickname.
