Infinity Train: Blossoming Trail

Thus far, each Arc has ended this way.
Arc 1: Nothing and Nowhere sees Chloe building up her self-confidence and learning to embrace her interests, while back home, those most responsible for tearing her down in the first place face some Laser-Guided Karma. Yet Chloe has no intention of returning to Vermillion any time soon, and informs Goh and her father as such, referring to the latter as simply 'Professor'. Meanwhile, Ash has gotten together with Trip, but also blames himself for everything that's gone wrong, and Goh is spiraling further into despair and denial over how his bond with Chloe fell apart.
By the end of Arc 2: Run Baby Run, the threat posed by the Unown has been neutralized, but the lives of those caught in the center of the outbreak will never be the same, with the Cerises being hit hardest, as Parker faces punishment for his actions and the family copes with the fallout. Chloe has grown stronger still — strong enough to recognize the part she played in her own downfall — but that maturity has been hard-won, and she's poised to face an ever greater threat in the Fog Car.
  • The Cyan Desert Car: The Unown are defeated and neutralized, and everyone is still alive...but the trauma caused will have massive consequences for everyone on and off the train.
  • Le Chat Chalet Car: Even more so then the first.
    • Bitter:
      • Parker is banned from ever entering Vermillion again, and his family’s lives are completely ruined, forcing them to live in Delia’s guesthouse for the time being. And while he is still learning the consequences of his actions with Zeno’s help, he has burned his bridges with nearly everyone and won’t be forgiven anytime soon.
      • Vermillion International School’s reputation has been completely ruined due to Class 5-E’s and the majority of the teachers' actions regarding Chloe. And the students of Class 5-E are not only still traumatized from Parker’s actions, it is made clear that they are not going to be left off easy from what they have done to Chloe as shown by the trial, meaning their futures are still looking very bleak, even though Ash did promise he would help them with becoming Trainers. Sara herself is broken beyond repair, losing everything she held dear with only a loving foster family the only thing that's keeping her from either killing herself or as another victim on the Train.
      • Everyone has been affected negatively by Parker’s actions, such as Ash suffering from nightmares and Goh having his sanity shattered. Even Chloe has been affected by it, as she’s forced to confront her own selfishnesses afterward thanks to Delia and Talia calling her out on it, and she’s going to have to deal with being the cause of the whole thing after she returns home.
      • Hop, Paul and Alain are still being brainwashed into the components for Henry and Walter’s ritual. And the Apex are now in the Fog Car, with the chapter ending with Paul/Despair leading Grace, Simon, Hazel and Tuba into the car.
    • Sweet:

Arc 3: In The Darkness ends with Chloe returning home after carrying out her mission to stop the Apex and save Hop, Paul and Alain from the Fog Car. However, these victories have come at a heavy cost, and the trainers still have to complete their own travels through the Train. She's also returning to a heavily tarnished reputation, gets injured saving her former classmates from Mrs. Turner, and must face the fact that Goh is still Trainbound.
  • The Fog Car Part 9: Of Chloe’s time in the Infinity Train.
    • Bitter
      • Her reputation in the Pokemon World is still completely ruined thanks to Parker. And even though Chloe has realized her mistakes and has decided to move forward and try to make amends, she still has a rough road ahead of her.
      • Despite everything she has done to try to prevent it, Tuba still died, having Atticus revive her instead when the both of them were killed.
      • She also has to say goodbye to all the friends she has met on the train. And its very likely that she will never see them again.
    • Sweet
      • Chloe has also resolved to become a new person, leaving behind the person she once was. This declaration is what gets her number down to zero.
      • She had also carried out her mission to stop the Apex: Simon is dead thanks to Sean, and Grace and the children have split up to figure out why they came onto the Train and think over their sins.
      • Hop, Alain, Paul and Hazel are successfully rescued from the Fog Car. And the three trainers were able to help her realize that trainers are still human and the trainer life isn’t as glamorous as it looks.
  • Emergency Exit: Much like the last chapter, this part ties up several of the Pokémon World's plotlines this way:
    • Bitter:
      • Vermillion City's school hits The Last Straw and is shut down after the Turner incident. Thanks to this, several people lose their jobs, and many students are left with no school to attend.
      • Goh's ultimate goal is achieved, but it's All for Nothing: not only has he been left utterly traumatized by the entire ordeal, but he can't even use Mew as their original form, instead taking the form of a Shiny Espurr. And of course, Goh is still Trainbound...
      • Class 5-E are put through the wringer yet again: not only are their futures heavily overshadowed by their past, the girl they bullied and belittled wound up becoming the only reason they're still alive — something the internet is bound to find golden.
    • Sweet:
      • Mrs. Turner is arrested, ensuring she won't be able to hurt anyone ever again.
      • Chloe finally buries the hatchet with her family, Akemi, Class 5-E, and Yeardley, Stopping the Blame Game once and for all.
      • Chloe reconciles with her family and friends, and though she's all but aware that Goh is gonna be taken to the Train, she decides to do one last thing before he leaves.
      • Speaking of Goh, he finally gets the apology from Trip he desperately needed, and returns to his worried parents, who assure him he'll get all the help he can get before the Train grabs him.
      • The three trainers get thrown a bone in the Self-portrait Car when they have some much-needed pep talks from the images of their friends.

The final chapter in general: On the whole, Chloe has developed into a better person and is willing to start her friendship with Goh all over again. Unfortunately, Goh feels like he needs to do more to deserve said friendship and Delia's blunder has him stuck on the train with a high number and meeting up with a strange passenger. Chloe still also has to repair her reputation, meet up with Parker, and give the news on the three Trainers who will be on the Train for quite some time too.
  • Healer: On the whole, this chapter ends the story on a rather bittersweet note.
    • Bitter:
      • Goh's Train trip is inevitable at this point, and the only thing the Fujihachis can do is make what little time he has left on Vermillion worthwhile.
      • Delia makes it abundantly clear that she's not going to forgive Chloe anytime soon, especially since so many people seem to backpedal just to ask forgiveness from her, and that this is something she has to accept.
      • Chloe's reputation is still tarnished, and her brother is still stuck in juvie, leaving her a long road of redemption ahead.
      • Mew's identity is revealed at the worst possible moment, with it leading to Goh getting picked up by the Train.
      • Finally, Goh's number is so obscenely big (813) that he's gonna be stuck on the Train for months at best, a year at worst, and his nonexistent self-esteem is not going to help pass the time.
    • Sweet:
      • While there's a sense of bitterness and tensity, Chloe and Goh finally make peace with each other, having the curry they promised to have so long ago.
      • Chloe's given the support she always needed despite all the adversities, from her family and friends when it becomes clear just how much she has to do to make up for it.
      • With the Apex gone, and the Cage of Flauros dismantled alongside the Fog Car being quarantined, the Train's a safer place than it's ever been, with the Denizens celebrating the fact.
      • Goh's final moments on Vermillion City aren't filled with spite, hate, and being blamed like he's grown used to, but is instead given encouragement, reassured that not everything was his fault, and finally, Raboot and Sobble accompany him to the Infinity Train, ensuring that he's not alone on the trip.
