It's a murder-mystery-musical, so the game has a lot of these.

  • "The Ritual", in which Aphrodite is about to pass her eidolon on to a new host so that she won't have to live with the memories of what she endured during World War II, has a few great songs. You can segue from a Clever song sequence into a confrontational one in an effort to talk her out of it - doing so elicits a patter number from Grace that's very impressive in both the rhymes used and the fact that Laura Bailey seems to not take a moment to breathe.
Grace: Your rest leaves the rest of your family stressed and depressed / They repress, so will only digress / I'm impressed by the sense of occasion, I guess / But this mess of a quest to possess is grotesque / It's happened to me, and I'll never know when Calliope inside of me surfaces / So I request that your guests reassess the process / And unless you address all this godly excess, we'll continue to guess / While you repossess, and I won't acquiesce 'til a change manifests / I'm out!
  • The reprise of "Adrift", when Grace returns to the community theater she'd met Calliope in the night before the trial, starts off melancholy and unsure as Grace is about to go to the trial and is understandably worried... and if Grace has remained the Muse, the voice of every other Muse that has ever been eventually joins her in a triumphant chorus.
Spirits: In your heart we remain. You do not sail in vain.
Grace: In my heart, you'll remain... I do not sail in vain.
  • The entirety of "The Trial", which is fitting for the climactic song of the game. Even the setup for the song is amazing, with Grace, having revealed the prophecy that Athena had received, sternly saying "Tell them" as her eyes glow yellow.
    • It starts with Athena calling out the other Idols for their idleness as she bears The Chains of Commanding.
Athena: You all turn away when I gut the fish/Then you cry hooray when it's on a dish. That's how we do this!
      • On the Green path, Grace will point out that Athena is being overly broad in trying to paint the other Idols as uncaring.
      • On the Red path, she counters that what Athena does isn't out of love, but out of a need to control the situation.
      • On the Blue path, she calls Athena out for assuming all the responsibility while acting the martyr for doing so.
    • Following this, either Apollo or Persephone step forward to defend Grace. Athena responds by crying out "None of you see!" before calling forth the Furies to enact judgement upon Grace - and any who stand with her.
Athena: You think you see it all? You just see a scrap/You want to make the call, you need to hold the map/You cloistered children!
    • Grace then either pleads that no one else should step forward to die, stands in staunch defiance of Athena's fury, or tries one last time to get Athena to realize her actions are horrendously wrong.
    • This leads to Grace's romance option (or either Apollo or Persephone, if Grace lacks one at the Trial) stepping forward in her defense... followed by two people of the player's choosing, as detailed on the Heartwarming page. At its conclusion, everyone in attendance is likely standing at Grace's side and harmonizing with her as even the Furies stand down, forcing Athena's wrath and armaments to dissipate before lamenting how her actions were All for Nothing, and Calliope is now dead because of it.
Athena: There was a voice in me that shouted "Athena, you be strong./Be strong, no cost is great enough." It was wrong, I was wrong.
    • She then pleads with Grace for advice on how she should deal with the fallout.
      • If Grace forgives her, we get a Dark Reprise of Medusa's "I Am" Song.
Grace: I've met monsters who weren't monsters.
Athena: I'm a monster to me.
      • Grace can opt to just punch Athena for all the trouble she's caused with her actions.
      • Or Grace can tell Athena that she should step down from her position, as she's shown she's no longer fit to lead the Idols.
