Awesome Music / Soviet Storm: World War II in the East

Go To

Being a Battle Epic, Soviet Storm: World War II in the East has a lot of Awesome Music used throughout its run. The entire track can be viewed for free on Youtube here.

  • To Battle, a slow track that starts off sad and gradually builds up pace, and represents the Red Army's long road from defeat to victory.
  • Big Action, which often plays during the opening when the Soviets are launching a tank attack. Like "To Battle", it starts out quiet and slow, and then suddenly goes loud.
  • Dancing Bullets, a theme used whenever a scene takes place behind the frontlines, usually when the Germans or Soviets are planning a major operation. Mundane Made Awesome indeed.
  • Tragic Episode, contrary to its name, actually plays during some of the most awesome moments in the series, most notably Ace Pilot Ivan Kozhedub's famous dogfight over Berlin.
  • The teletype plays during the most climactic battle scenes, such as when the Soviets are close to victory.
  • Sea plays during the start of two massive Soviet offensives, the Vistula Oder Offensive during the Battle for Germany, and during the start of the Soviet Invasion of Manchuria. It evokes a calm before the massive Soviet Storm that rains upon the Germans and Japanese.
  • Battle, which is the end credits theme, and what is essentially the series' entire leitmotif.
  • Information, the theme used whenever a weapon or vehicle is discussed in detail. It gives off the sense of cold calculation and attention to detail.
