- Stargate Atlantis
- From "Rising" we have "Gate to Atlantis", "The Rescue" and "Our New Home, Atlantis". All of which are designed to fill you with a sense of adventure.
- Johnny Cash's Cover Version of Neil Diamond's "Solitary Man", used in "Vegas", is a country song that fits the desert theme of the episode. The same episode also featured The Beautiful People by Marilyn Manson whose heavy metal style was really unusual for the show.
- Stargate SG-1: The intro theme is a triumphant reprise of the movie theme, meant to symbolise the humankind's evolution from a small force that happened to take out Ra into a galactic superpower that protects peace - or in short, how humanity becomes The Fifth Race.
- Stargate Universe:
- The closing theme is a haunting, athmospheric piece that truly shows the situation aboard the Destiny is fucked. - The funny and touching use of 'The Worst Day Since Yesterday'.
