Why do we watch [[ProfessionalWrestling wrestling]] again? Is it for the action? Is it for the eye candy? Or maybe it's to see some heel cash in a briefcase to some of the most AwesomeMusic played in an arena (outside of concerts, of course).

See also MostWonderfulSound, for when said Awesome Music begins with a certain cue.

[[AC:WWE]]
* Just to point out a bit of the obvious: Notice how long the WWE section is here? That's because WWE's in-house composer, Jim Johnston, is the Awesome Music ''Man''.
* Yes, it's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7AtDarCLRWQ Elgar's "Pomp and Circumstance" March No.1]], more familiar as a graduation processional, but wrestling fans hear it and can only think [[Wrestling/RandySavage "OOOOOOHHHH YEAHHHHHHH!"]]
* Music/JimiHendrix's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1VRvyIuY4tw "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)"]] ''made'' "Hollywood" Wrestling/HulkHogan in WWE. No surprise there; it did the same for "Hollywood" Hogan in WCW.
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2slTwRe4ATc "Real]] [[Wrestling/HulkHogan American"]]. Years later, people still mark out to it.[[note]] Current clip is the SoBadItsGood original video.[[/note]]
** How awesome is this one? '''UsefulNotes/BarackObama''' used it for his first public speech after finally revealing his birth certificate, a not so subtle TakeThat at the most ludicrous of the "[[ConspiracyTheorist birthers]]" and their supporters.
* The [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DwTtgAwMCLc SmackDown theme]] from 2009 to 2011, "Let it Roll" by Divide the Day. It even has a veiled TakeThat at {{TNA}}:
--> Do you really wanna cross the line?
** Smackdown has had a very good number of great theme songs. From the simplistic original techno theme [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YO2tCKz4psQ "Everybody On The Ground"]], famous for its incomprehensible lyrics, to MarilynManson's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GGNNqAc1s4Y "The Beautiful People"]] (a previous Raw theme), the aggressively ruthless production piece [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fD8Sl_gNfTQ "I Want It All"]] ([[UpToEleven V2]], [[ThreeChordsAndTheTruth V1 instrumental, then V1]]. V2 Extended [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZQ36_achDo here.]]) during [=McMahon=]/Heyman eras and Drowning Pool's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qp8eJpkbOcI "Rise Up"]].
** The everlasting awesome [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=REuLlW2ktMg Raw theme]] from 2006 to 2009, "To Be Loved" by Music/PapaRoach. "WHOOOOA I'LL NEVER GIVE UP! AND I JUST WANNA BE, WANNA BE LOVEEEED!"
* There's something about Wrestling/StoneColdSteveAustin's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2TwLOOFvzS4 theme]] that just plain screams, "You're about to get your ass kicked, and there ain't a thing you can do about it!"
** It's the abrupt glass breaking at the beginning. There's just nothing sweeter than watching Rock/Mankind/whoever getting curbstomped when suddenly you hear somebody flinging a chair through a window as Stone Cold runs in to save the day. What came after the glass could be almost anything (and sometimes was).[[note]] It was so effective, WWE starting adding abrupt opening noises to most of their big stars (the car crash for Wrestling/MickFoley, [[Wrestling/DwayneJohnson The Rock's]] louder "IF YOU SMEEEEELLLLLL...", Wrestling/TripleH has "Time to play the game!" followed by [[Music/{{Motorhead}} Lemmy's]] EvilLaugh, Wrestling/TheBigShow's "WEEEEEEEEEEELL..." the explosion for Wrestling/{{Kane}}) but Stone Cold's was always the one that best said "Oh, you are ''screwed'' now."[[/note]]
** The version performed by Music/{{Disturbed}} ([[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQ8vn2HTBMU "Glass Shatters"]]) starting in 2001, is considered by many to be superior to the original variant of Austin's theme. One writer commented that you could give the song to [[{{Jobber}} Funaki]], and he'd become a main-eventer overnight. It was just that awesome.
** Steve Austin's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xAoG6-9wWjs original dark and creepy theme]] from when he started in the WWF in 1996 also qualifies.
* For more traditional awesomeness, Wrestling/TheUndertaker's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lGTv1buDMo8 theme]] can't be topped. The nightmarish organ and bells evoke feelings of the night and death, similar to Chopin's ''Funeral March'', or in a more modern sense, the 1986 musical ''Theatre/ThePhantomOfTheOpera''.
** His Wrestling/MinistryOfDarkness [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XFmsjcrlr1k theme]] was extremely badass as well.
** His run as the more true to real life [[FanNickname Bikertaker]] had a pair of awesome music tracks too. Sure, they weren't tolling bells... but you can't really beat heavy metal and motorcycles. And of course, Limp Bizkit's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RsXEbqS7cpE "Rollin'"]].[[note]]Because of that, Fred Durst got to appear in two WWE games (''Smackdown: Just Bring It'' for the PS2 and ''Raw'' for the XBox)[[/note]].
** The opening to [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ul3kKRRy6jI Make You Pay: "Dead Man Walking"]]. Though the whole song is a treat for the ears.
* Wrestling/{{Kane}}'s "Man on Fire" [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZLCrILYVXc entrance theme]] evokes the same feeling as the Undertaker's, while adding a more mysterious element.
** Kane's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=22YQZgjNh8Q earlier theme by Finger Eleven]] is just as memorable.
** This fantastic [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04CLHxFmKiw theme]] done for Kane by TypeONegative was unfortunately never actually used
** Of course, there's his [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFS_uw5ngDM original theme.]]
* The [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ZZLwl6zZSI theme song]] of the Corporate Ministry was probably the best thing about the Corporate Ministry in general.
* The moment you hear the [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AqPpqALiMMQ screeching and crashing of a car,]] then you know you're [[Wrestling/MickFoley gonna have a nice day]].
** Hey yo! [[Wrestling/ScottHall Da Bad Guy]] would like to remind you that [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XcYdpqyhnpA screeching cars without a crash]] meant only pure machismo was coming, man!
** [[Wrestling/MickFoley Mankind's]] [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cEl6xcOIhbU original theme]] was dark and tragic, but soothing in a way. And the [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQi0Nb5gUEI remix]] of it was rather catchy.
* Wrestling/JohnCena's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=072UJzZxCds theme.]] When the the song starts and you hear that "OOOOOOOOOOOOOH!" you know things are about to get real.
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Thk4uonEmU YOUR TIME IS UP!]] MY TIME IS NOW! YOU CAN'T SEE ME! MY TIME IS NOW!
** His previous theme also kicked major ass: "Word life, this is [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WL_uWGcSBo8 basic thuganomics]].
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AdDhyT-WGgo His theme]] when he started out until 2003 was also badass.
* Wrestling/TripleH always seems to have awesome music, especially that by Music/{{Motorhead}}, whether it's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TBDdLbEQxUg "The Game"]], [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YrSZ09cpZsU "King of Kings"]], or the theme of his stable, Evolution, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0j5yjIV6qA "Line in the Sand"]]. Being the best friend of a heavy metal god has its perks.
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZX8YPq6rOo One two, is this on]]? While not performed by Motorhead, "My Time" is a brilliant piece which was used after he abandoned DX. There's also the instrumental [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sPaWssy1Jqg "Higher Brain Pattern"]]. There is also the rare rap version of [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uU0V4HLBYGQ "The Game"]].
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=snW-5AHxYTA "Break it Down"]], the Wrestling/DGenerationX theme, [[MisattributedSong which is not by Rage Against the Machine]], is still awesome. For that matter, so was the DX take on [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dnVLLBubVtM "The King of Rock"]].
* Wrestling/GailKim's return to the Wrestling/{{WWE}} unfortunately didn't include the return of [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DAvdc3O3SfA her awesome entrance theme]].
* Wrestling/{{Edge}} + "Metalingus" + Music/AlterBridge = [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7dyu50SCxc ON THIS DAY / I SEE CLEARLY / EVERYTHING HAS COME TO LIIIIIFE]].
** His previous theme [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTvFkAJPfwQ "Never Gonna Stop"]] by Music/RobZombie.
** Ever since his injury (and return), people on Website/{{Youtube}} have been giving him Music/AlterBridge's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQQpXqOcNaI "Coming Home"]] as his "new" theme. It's surprisingly fitting for his character, and it's a shame he never got to actually use it.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8cDWPvhiPWg "Everybody's got a price...everybody's gonna pay...]] [[Wrestling/TedDiBiase cause the Million Dollar Man always gets his way...]] '''[[EvilLaugh AAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"]]'''
* Wrestling/{{Batista}}'s [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7BY4PZQvfPE theme]] from 2003 to 2005 can't be ignored.
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ovqoNJsHqMc "I walk for miles inside this pit of danger. A place where no one follows me, I walk alone"]].[[note]]courtesy of Saliva.[[/note]][[BigYes YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!]]
* Wrestling/RandyOrton's theme, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yVFWwYKf2FE "Voices" with vocals by Rich Luzzi, from the band Rev Theory]][[note]] [[MisattributedSong though it is almost always attributed solely to Rev Theory]][[[/note]], is so awesome that nobody really cared when it didn't fit his character at all. It became even more awesome when it '''did'''.
** Orton's previous theme [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3_YSLYfE5E "Burn In My Light"]] by Mercy Drive wasn't that bad either.
* [[Wrestling/BretHart Bret "The Hitman" Hart's]] [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=btS0OVdqkb0 "Hart Attack"]] deserves mentioning. Like Stone Cold's, it's one of those few beats that's so distinctive that you know it roughly a quarter of a second after it starts playing.
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jpUchhUUcVk The remixed version]] made for The Hart Dynasty (and eventually just Wrestling/{{Natalya|Neidhart}}) is pretty damn slick.
** The 2010 remake of "Hart Attack", [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KThT0lVsU7Y "Return the Hitman"]].
* Can you slap a tornado? Wrestling/MattHardy can. It just takes a little Mattitude, and an awesome song by Monster Magnet (either the [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAIW-nNjfa8 entrance version]] or the [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Eb_IRMtV-4 full song]]).
** Wrestling/JeffHardy's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4l7w0NILseQ 2008-2009 entrance song]] isn't bad either. [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mHvySQRhOTk And here's the full version!]]
** Their original tag team theme was a great piece of production music called [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ler25S7oG-0 "Loaded"]].
* Wrestling/UltimateWarrior's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbLZ9lx-e5w theme ]]. He wasn't the best wrestler in the world, but damn if his theme didn't capture his character perfectly.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1AseMmvp8CY If ya smell...what The Rock...]] [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9a64ZFK0gBs is cookin']].
** '''[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zlaudKEHOU FINALLY!! THE ROCK HAS COME BACK...]]'''
* Wrestling/ShawnMichaels' [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mtt0vc3_F34 theme.]] It's still one of the most recognizable and beloved themes in all of wrestling... even if Shawn himself admitted that he finds his singing is atrocious.
-->"Eat your heart out, girls! Hands off the merchandise!"
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=weufcaQp-3M "Sensational" Sherri Martel]] did a version too, though it didn't last before Shawn went back to singing it.
* Taking it in a ''much'' different direction, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKPXfqux63A Hillbilly Jim's]] theme is appropriately toe-tappin' fun.
* If the pure awesome released when the WWF's "Countdown to the Millennium" campaign ended in [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYuhY_CM5zs this]] could be captured and bottled, it would solve world hunger. [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tpRCh524bsQ Subsequent remixes]], as well as [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBTVdZZqkrE a cover by Sevendust]], only up the awesomeness.
** Wrestling/ChrisJericho doesn't only enter to SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic, he also [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=naC4kaN-P8g creates it]] courtesy of Fozzy (not [[Franchise/TheMuppets Fozzy Bear]]).
* Wrestling/RobVanDam's second WWE theme, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jeGzLi4nm_g "One of a Kind"]] by Breaking Point, which takes his first theme and cranks the badassery UpToEleven.
* "[[MemeticMutation Oh, radio,]] [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4y9D8_bLe2o tell me everything you know...]]"
** The music Wrestling/ZackRyder used to share with Curt Hawkins, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2B95eycv4U "In The Middle Of It Now"]], which eventually just became Hawkins'.
* The Brood's entrance consisted of the arena being bathed in red light, the group rising up from a circle of fire and [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dqRKKpnWkh8 this completely badass theme]]. It culminated in the blood spit entrance that was so good Triple H used it for himself with water.
* Say what you will about Wrestling/{{Goldust}} but his [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOCJJEF7POQ entrance theme]] is really catchy, and at one point, rivaled that of Wrestling/TheUndertaker's entrance to the ring. [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFFvje29bx0 Just watch this.]]
** The [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdf25qzBIbM remix]] of his theme and [[Wrestling/CodyRhodes his brother's]] also kicks ass.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZLwVPakzwM Cody Rhodes']] is just as good, but with more of a hip-hop style.
** Since he stopped being dashing, it's only fitting that Cody Rhodes gets [[http://youtu.be/fYPNpe1NwCo a darker and "undashing" theme.]]
** Unmasked, uninhibited, unbeatable...and [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SYnNYX0xzeg remixed]].
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IhRnWMBcNQQ Nightmare Clown]], Wrestling/DoinkTheClown's theme.[[note]]His face theme, "Entry of the Gladiators," is far less memorable as his theme, but is now used on all of his appearances.[[/note]]
* Whatever became of the man himself in his last hours, Wrestling/ChrisBenoit's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nxntxgd68gk final theme]] is still pretty awesome.
* [[Wrestling/EddieGuerrero Viva]] [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=irpd7xb3goQ La Raza!]]
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBOZQGa5nbQ The Perfect Theme]] [[Wrestling/CurtHennig for a Perfect man]]
* Former WWE Diva Wrestling/{{Sable}} had an [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=epQ_S_YUBA0 entrance theme]] that sounded so purr-fect.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aT5SG5XavY4 My name is Finlay,]] and I ''love'' to fight.
* A WWE-themed "Awesome Music" list would never be complete without [[Wrestling/TheMiz one specific song]]: [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3MK7kU1JEBU AAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEE]]
** The remix brought even more [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYt-NjhM8vo AWESOME]].
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yq9slakzti0 Well, it's]] Wrestling/TheBigShow!
** Come on, nothing compares to a song this [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_BqJNhg4wo BIG!]]
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L5p7ZmCvi0A "Just Look At Me"]]. Wrestling/RobConway's theme is a nice break from all the hard rock.
* Usually theme mashups for tag teams made up of two singles joined to together have mixed results. But when you gets Maylene and the Sons of Disaster to re-record it into a [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PAPJyUrEthM nice little medley]], it sounds ''so'' much better.
* Forget Wrestling/TedDiBiase, Wrestling/RicFlair, and Wrestling/ShawnMichaels. Who is handsome, brave, and strong? Who enforces the law? [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jc75sS6ya40 Who always gets his man]]?
** Of course, that's not what [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9CY2XtuxoEI The Quebecers]] would have you believe...
* Wrestling/{{Christian}} always gets great themes but his 2011 one is just [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1NkWRBYeeoE all kinds of awesome]].
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LYOziAa6TAw The original Waterproof Blonde version (with the female singer) isn't too bad, either]].
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=USuNB3kojyE CHRISTIAN, CHRISTIAN, AT LAST YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN]] - the first one is great, and the [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LbQd-nEMGEo second one]] is just as good.
* Wrestling/KurtAngle's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DhPFQzxhWeY WWE theme]][[note]]The theme had originally been used in 1997 for the Patriot, who was a traditional babyface.[[/note]]
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXiYzRpi_zU Too many lies, too many lies.]] One thing agreed about Wrestling/{{Sheamus}} is that his theme music is awesome, fella!
* Wrestling/ReyMysterioJr.'s [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uw_yZm4BONI "619"]] or [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7n1F6guqVBg "Booyaka]] [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_nphn8yAak 619"]].
* Wrestling/VladimirKozlov's older theme, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=49IS3YCGR_s "All for the Motherland"]], is good. As is his other theme, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=257iJfBey1o Pain.]]
* Wrestling/BillyKidman, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yL-LRGefePo "You Can Run"]] - a super-black theme for a white guy. Who would've thought?
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4aS1Xfb6ckE HERE COMES THE AX! AND HERE COMES THE SMASHER!]] Rick Derringer strikes again, with this theme for arguably [[Wrestling/{{Demolition}} the best tag team]] of the late 80s. Cited as a reason why fans began to cheer them as faces and eventually force the bookers to turn them face.
* The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers would like you to know that they're [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCvLMhzhQd4 "All-American Boys"]].
* How about Drew [=McIntyre=]'s theme? Which one? [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjGvwgojmrA Either]] [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxGB0dC4Ceg one.]]
* ''(hooooooooooooooonk)'' NOW LISTEN -- THIS AIN'T NO MAKE BELIEVE! Wrestling/JohnMorrison's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcdUlg_tTvk theme]], which is [[SuspiciouslySimilarSong totally not supposed to be]] [[Music/JimiHendrix "Burning Desire" by Jimi Hendrix]].[[note]][[FridgeLogic It is kind of weird that a wrestler with a Jim Morrison style gimmick has a Jimi Hendrix-style theme]][[/note]]
* Wrestling/MarkHenry's [[ThreeSixMafia theme music]]: [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BfQ3jDTaQ4g "Somebody Gon' Get It."]]
* [[Wrestling/ShaneMcMahon Shane [=McMahon=]]]'s entrance music: [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KI2cNa3wXM0 "Here Comes The Money."]]
* Regardless of what you think about Music/LimpBizkit, the song [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dn8vzTsnPps "My Way"]] always brings pleasant memories of ''[=WrestleMania=] [[Awesome/ProfessionalWrestling X-Seven]]''.
* Wrestling/TheDudleyBoys - [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvzAreJtQqM "Ollie Stalefish"]].
* When you compare ''anything'' on this page to [[Wrestling/VinceMcMahon Vince [=McMahon=]]]'s theme, it's got [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YqlCqbI8Eeg "No Chance In Hell"]]!
** And the [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKYBAa-iQVo Theory of a Deadman cover]].
* WWE Divas tend to not be as lucky in the music department, and a couple of themes have actually been recycled from one Diva to another. A few notable exceptions include [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-YI1C7d3ok Melina]][[note]]which was originally MNM's theme[[/note]], [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nlWKQpqujF0 Natalya]], and [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KsWR6GYNITQ Jillian]].
** Wrestling/TrishStratus' [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s6E9WzZ0K5Q theme]] entrance music was awesome. So was Wrestling/{{Lita}}'s [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1As7ke4gKYA theme.]] Both of [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dH6FoJAYQUw them.]]
** Even if [[Wrestling/{{LayCool}} Michelle [=McCool=]]]'s theme has been traded around with Layla, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6udUFaaJSrs it still is a good villain song.]]
** [[Wrestling/LisaMarieVaron Victoria]]'s just [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0gGuuxVb6es lost her mind...her mind...]]
* Ezekiel Jackson: [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sby3CXsNH2Q This is a story about domination!]]
* Creator/WilliamShatner's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHg2z9ZgdEc spoken word versions]] of WWE entrance themes counts as both awesome and [[Funny/ProfessionalWrestling funny]] music.

** Placebo's haunting cover of the Music/KateBush classic "Running Up That Hill" for [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EC7V-ayjorg HBK vs. Undertaker II]] from ''Wrestling/{{WrestleMania}} 26''.

* Despite his [[ScrewedByTheNetwork brief stay]]. [[Wrestling/LowKi Kaval's]] [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KAv-8BnnOEk theme]] was awesome.
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m54-SmbKjUU "Exploding Helmets"]], also used by Wade Barrett during his stay in developmental.
* Who could forget [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f6W-6z74zcE Big Daddy Cool]] [[Wrestling/KevinNash Diesel's]] theme since his championship win in 1995?
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wXgq3h9NfoQ Santino Marella's theme]] is slightly too bombastic for his character, and all the more awesome for it. "[[http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_is_santino_marella%27s_theme_music La Vittoria č Mia]]", indeed.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ph1_gYYqm9w "Black Or White"]], used by Wrestling/HeathSlater and Wrestling/JustinGabriel for a short time after parting from the Corre. It sounded a little like Skillet's "Awake and Alive."
* The Great Khali's theme, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gvQC-pU7FUw Land of Five Rivers"]] is ridiculously catchy.
** His [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubBGotlCGhs First Theme]] was pretty epic.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNNaU1DJOPw "We Are One"]]. When you hear that song, you know that TheNexus are united and ready to strike.
** Also, Wrestling/WadeBarrett's old theme "End Of Days." All one million versions of them.
** Barrett also has [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sh_GjRJokvc "God Save our Queen".]]
* Otunga's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wp-2g87JBaQ All About the Power]]
* Drew [=McIntyre=]'s theme, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MdlHQfwJJXo "Broken Dreams" by Shaman's Harvest.]]
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3UPwYU7-dk Come On]] by Waterproof Blonde, Sean O'Haire's theme.
* Wrestling/{{Hunico}}, either [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nybw9ifAvxI his first]] or the remake, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mV39VSVJFGY Respeto]].
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0OaaEtYG2WY Dean Malenko's epic 007 theme]].
** It later got remixed into [[Wrestling/ClaudioCastagnoli Antonio Cesaro]]'s [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U1JlToAuVhA theme]].
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0w19YmcrqU JBL's theme]] or, on a similar note, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WmhHHhOeGE8 Alberto Del Rio's]].
* Wrestling/DamienSandow used [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AVVjWoXKd9M New World Symphony]] in FCW and [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C5dlzbD7iMc Hallelujah]] when he hit WWE.
* Wrestling/PrimeTimePlayers [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gvPISzfDHEw Makin' Moves]]!
* Wrestling/TheUsos finally dropped their Jimmy Hart version of Pimp My Ride and [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QvH1a54bW38 got their own theme in 2010]]. But of course, what ''really'' makes their entrance is the thumping drum beat intro, accompanied with the Polynesian ''Siva Tau'' war dance.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LiR31Ey1vDY Meat on the Table]], a song that perfectly illustrates the character of Wrestling/{{Ryback}}.
* Sierra - Hotel - India - Echo - Lima - Delta: [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxD3rpVsO9Q Shield.]] If that opening isn't enough, the badass guitar riff is an added harbinger of the destruction that Wrestling/TheShield is sure to cause.
* [[Wrestling/MontelVontaviousPorter MVP's]] [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=23YgFACgkeo first theme]] and his [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=46GxPPhp_Xk second theme]]
* [[Wrestling/IvelisseVelez Sofia Cortez]] didn't get much opportunity to allow fans to get into her theme but it was just made [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DwUfR2mDRbQ of win]].
* [[Wrestling/BrockLesnar Here comes the pain!]] [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iAzjumNPxaI Next Big Thing]]
* Wrestling/JackSwagger's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7G2wJUIa8So latest]].
* Wrestlemania's Wrestling/CMPunk vs Wrestling/TheUndertaker theme song, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qk3vjIDuy9w Bones]] by Young Guns.
* The Civil Twilight's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EYAxqE2yaWc "Letters from the Sky".]] So awesome that WWE used it in promos for huge matches involving top stars - TWICE. (The Wrestling/JohnCena-Wrestling/RandyOrton Iron Man match in 2010 and most recently for Cena vs. [[Wrestling/DwayneJohnson Rock]] at Wrestlemania 29.)
* Puerto Rican tag team Epico and Primo changed their entrance theme to [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYxgR0qbFRY this]] in 2013. Unabashedly Latin? Yes. All the more awesome for it? YES.
* Wrestling/TheWyattFamily's theme, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_hOt2im0lPU Live In Fear]] by Mark Crozer (of The Jesus and Mary Chain) and The Rels.
* Harper and Rowan have gotten their own entrance theme for their tag matches sans Wyatt himself, and they're pretty good:
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d_lSm-JFac0 "Sheepherder"]] for Erick Rowan. A nice, mellow bluegrass number.
** ...And Luke Harper's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRWr_-Vv0x4 "Swamp Gas"]]. He's got his eyes on you...
* One of the many things the IWC loves about Wrestling/{{WWENXT}} is the fact that the theme musics of the NXT Superstars are incredibly awesome, and fit the characters very well. Some examples:
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n2F1s5PSS-I Emma's]] goofy pop number and accompanying dance are amazingly addicting and just plain fun.
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4fR9XVIjmpc Paige]] has these harmonic stabs at the beginning of hers that get the entire audience on their feet instantly (she's also unique in having a rock theme when most Divas end up with dance-pop.)
*** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=320Vl2K1C60 Her new theme]] is pretty awesome too.
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GL6peG8AgWo Summer Rae's]] is catchy as hell and a perfect fit for her. Her [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=teirq6Qya0c new one]] even more so.
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MeSZCzGnEBE Perfect for the gimmick...that Big E Langston stopped using once he left NXT.]]
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQcxKSI6YSs Baron Corbin's theme]] is ridiculously kickass and fits his gimmick like a glove.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OzMURyGo_9s Fandango]].
** Fandango is cool and all, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mUM_H_duBhU but Johnny Curtis is way better]].
* And upon coming back from a devastating knee injury, the now-married [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XFfPKoIVvlU Tyson Kidd]] has a theme which, while short, makes you feel like you could take on the world.
* Steam's "Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye" had been used to taunt a losing wrestler, espeically in a "Loser Leaves Town" Match. Savio Vega did this to Ted DiBiase Sr after he defeated StoneColdSteveAustin in a strap match at "In Your House 8: Beware of Dog" in 1996. There's this video that had [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jvlSmwmtJ08 some of the best ones]], where even JerryLawler, who's often a {{Heel}} [[SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome nails one]].
* Sometimes, opening songs, like "To Be Loved" by Papa Roach lands in this group.
* Alexander Rusev, who recently came from NXT, has [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iE-at65LjDA this amazing theme]].
* Whether you think Wrestling/BoDallas [[TheScrappy sucks]], Bo Dallas [[SoBadItsGood sucks]], or Bo Dallas [[LoveToHate sucks]], one thing you're probably not knocking is [[http://www.youtube.com/watch/?v=eSk_sv2JiIA his theme song]].
* Words can't properly describe the face-melting greatness of Finn Balor's theme song, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_6ZLSZ4_Rvs "Catch Your Breath"]]. It's a hard-hitting orchestral rock piece that wouldn't sound out of place in the final boss fight of an RPG.

[[AC:WCW]]
* The theme from ''Film/TwoThousandOneASpaceOdyssey'', the "Dawn" section of Richard Strauss' "Music/AlsoSprachZarathustra". If you don't already know which [[Wrestling/RicFlair wrestler]] used that song, then you wouldn't be reading this page anyway. [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-BkQS8eYec WOOOOOOOOOO!]]
* Wrestling/{{Goldberg}}'s [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wXOp9fzYEtc theme,]] "Invasion" -- i.e. the most awesome piece of stock music ever. When they get Megadeth to do a new theme for a guy, and it's generally considered a step ''down'' from a cheap bit of production music... well, you know that cheap bit of production music is something special.
** WWE would try and replicate Wrestling/{{Goldberg}}'s theme when he came into the company (instead of buying the rights to the original theme). They managed to hit the [[SuspiciouslySimilarSong musical equivalent]] of the UncannyValley.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FvmaR5CjZG8 Sting's 4th theme]], used when he was doing a gimmick based loosely on ''Film/TheCrow''.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9gUNsskAEis Chris Jericho's "One Crazed Anarchist"]] (which is [[SuspiciouslySimilarSong totally not Pearl Jam's "Evenflow"]]).
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TBUm8RU8P-s The last Four Horsemen theme.]]
** As well as [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1viR3yrt9_I the one before that.]]
* Wrestling/DiamondDallasPage's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KikWIVx_ANs "Self High Five",]] a SuspiciouslySimilarSong version of "Smells Like Teen Spirit".
** DDP also got [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XMafucdnpdg "Dog"]], so close to the end of WCW that it's pretty much a wasted song.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iVUzz3M_D8s Raven's theme,]] which is what happens when you put SuspiciouslySimilarSong versions of Music/{{Nirvana}}'s "Come As You Are" and Music/LynyrdSkynyrd's "That Smell" into a blender. Along with copious amounts of awesome, of course.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8GhBi6WTVB4 The Harlem Heat theme]] (later used by Wrestling/BookerT when he went solo, and carried over into WWE and TNA).
** It's also another one of those themes that have become so iconic that you can recognize who's coming about half a second into the music.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D4FAqqBFSYg The Hollywood Blonde's Theme]] is an awesome piece of rock music, and would end up being used by several wrestlers in WCW over the years. Doesn't stop it from being badass.
* And of course, the theme of the Wrestling/NewWorldOrder, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NWZ0gJ0HAyA "Rockhouse".]]
-->'''Wrestling/KevinNash''': ''Cue the porno music!''
** Speaking of the [=nWo=], "[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYwXUxgszF0 Don't turn your back on the Wolfpac...]]"
** And in his tenure in the nWo, Wrestling/HulkHogan used one of the most awesome songs ever as his entrance theme... [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhoXzVBc33o Jimi Hendrix's "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)"]]
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oH9dEuLQ3lY Alex Wright's 2nd theme]], as acknowledged by [[Website/{{WrestleCrap}} RD Reynolds]].
* As a face, Hulk Hogan is "[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D4fQd1y4QuY American Made]]", but somehow not a [[SuspiciouslySimilarSong Real American]].
** The song, sadly, belonged to the WWF (now WWE) who hold the copyright on it, despite the song supposedly being written by Wrestling/JimmyHart and, as we all know, performed by Derringer. Jimmy Hart helped write "American Made" for Hogan when he made the jump to WCW since they needed something to fit Hogan's then still pristine 'hero' image. It actually worked pretty well, all things considered. It was actually a reversal of fates for Hogan and Flair. When Flair had jumped to the WWF, he had to use a knock-off rendition of his classic theme. When Hogan made his way to WCW, he couldn't use Real American, and so he and Hart created what was essentially its SpiritualSuccessor.
* WCW resisted the urge to give Wrestling/{{Psicosis}} generic Mexican sounding music and instead gave him [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4--nAtznNos this]] Music/KingCrimson inspired theme. Chalk up another reason that WCW should have given him a better push.
* Wrestling/RickRude is [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_G4ocC6ILfY simply ravishing]].
* Wrestling/{{Vader}} had a pair of badass theme songs. [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5iUr7Q1Bhj4 First]] and [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwK4Ox0msao second]].
* The one thing missing from WWE Armegeddon? [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=acf3AFzEmp8 THE END IS]] [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhKy6GpV0B8 HEEEERRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!]]

[[AC:Wrestling/{{ECW}}]]
* The original ECW Theme song. [[http://youtu.be/T2T9e8CcgHE THIS IS EXTREEEEEEEME!]]
* [[Wrestling/AlPoling 911]] used [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1mV_5-bRPo The Edgar Winter Group's "Frankenstein"]]. When this music hit from mid-1994 to early 1996, someone was getting chokeslammed. After Wrestling/TheRoadWarriors' big run ended, and before [[Wrestling/StoneColdSteveAustin "When you hear the glass, it's your ass!"]], '''This''' was the music to fear in pro wrestling.
* [[Wrestling/{{ECW}} The Sandman's]] memorable One Night Stand '05 entrance to Music/{{Metallica}}'s "Enter Sandman" -- ''[[CrowdSong with the entire crowd of Mutants singing along]]''. Still the greatest entrance ever.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9TgfOoxMu88 "It's all right, it's all right, it's all right I'm JUST A LITTLE CRAZY!"]]-[[Wrestling/{{Sabu}} "The Suicidal, Homicidal, Genocidal, Death-Defying" Sabu]].
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sECmQbwXo4Y "Natural Born Killaz"]] by Dr. Dre and Music/IceCube, the theme for Wrestling/NewJack. So awesome that the song would play in its entirety DURING New Jack's matches. The gunshot sound was ECW's equivalent to glass shattering for Wrestling/StoneColdSteveAustin: it was a cue for the crowd to go nuts.
* [[Wrestling/TommyDreamer "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer]]: [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAqZb52sgpU "Man in the Box"]]
* WWECW had a memorable [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kZNVZ8dYIiA theme.]]
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_PAHbqq-o4 HEAD HEAD HEAD HEAD HEAD HEAD HEAD HEAD HEAD]]
* {{Wrestling/Raven}}'s theme,[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jS8JNVV1Y-o "Come Out and Play (Keep 'Em Separated)",]] was perhaps the most unintentional VillainSong there ever was.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LlnmNkMivHc "You better watch out, cause I'm a WAR MACHINE!"]] [[{{Wrestling/Tazz}} "The Human Suplex Machine" TAZ.]]
* [[http://youtu.be/M8Ahj6I7BLM AWESOME IS HIS NAME, ALL HIS VICTIMS FEEL THE PAIN! DROPPED WITH AN AWESOME BOMB, YOU GO DOWN AND YOU NEVER COME UP!]] Wrestling/MikeAwesome.

[[AC:Wrestling/{{TNA}}]]
* Wrestling/AJStyles' theme, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UL3iS9Wehq8 "I Am"]]. All the more awesome for being surrounded by the generic rock themes TNA usually pumps out.
** Now, the remixed version. [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJS5AXoXSDw Get Ready to Fly!]]
** The remixed version [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFMmnXebzr8 before the remixed version]] which had in 2007 is pretty tight too.
** "Evil Ways" (his 2013 theme as Dark!AJ) breaks the "I Am" cycle but [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ob3ZAPPjRhI is still pretty badass]].
* Special mention also goes out to [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HAiwmRVclrs Kurt Angle's theme]] with lyrics provided by Wrestling/JohnCena's cousin, Tha Trademarc.
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKtaAELZ58M His original TNA theme]] (which served as the base for his Trademarc theme) isn't so bad, either.
* [[MemeticMutation BREE WOO]] [[EarWorm BREE WOO]] [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JkbKAp3YTgw BREE WOO WAA]]
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNLwQPho25k Suicide comes alive]], and proves TNA's getting better at the whole "theme music" thing.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V0aML1-06tA "Take Over"]] - a SuspiciouslySimilarSong version of Evanescence's "My Last Breath" that served as the theme for [[Wrestling/{{Christian}} Christian Cage]].
* When you hear the gunshots, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_5ui0TCMHU LAX is goin' 5150 on your ass.]]
* Wrestling/TheBeautifulPeople: [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKZBGJgdz6w Cleansing the world, one ugly person at a time.]] a SuspiciouslySimilarSong version of "Drag You Down" by Finger Eleven.
* D'Angelo Dinero's theme. Remember people, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jPWg-Iw545g The Pope is pimpin'!!]]
* Abyss' [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2SLqy4gqpH8 "Catacombs"]] has served him well during his run, and is one of the most recognizable and unique themes TNA has to offer.
** Unfortunately switched out for a SuspiciouslySimilarSong verson of "Sound of Madness" by Shinedown.
* Wrestling/SamoaJoe's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfSmXYURcCs "Crush U Up"]] was an audio warning: Joe is coming to the ring, Joe is pissed off, [[MemeticMutation Joe is gonna kill you.]]
** And then there's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TBl8mALX61E his current rap theme]], which is probably the best entrance theme he's had since leaving Wrestling/RingOfHonor.
* From the NWA years:
->''[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wEGndAVpFeA You are my sunshine, my only sunshine...]]''
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Evp_akZkpKw Sarita and Taylor Wilde]] have a positively electric theme that has really helped them to stand out in the Knockouts division.
* BEER! MONEY! [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAxFqZmz9wU "Watch your money...and your alcohol."]] Take a Fall fits both Wrestling/BobbyRoode and Wrestling/JamesStorm's individual characters and is awesome on its own as well.
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vqhHu2ogk2Q Storm]] and [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LVp3V2IRJM Roode's]] individual themes are quite awesome as well.
*** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wS0U-5zorO4 Storm]] and [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HWXAWmY8C9I Roode's]] new themes are [[UpToELeven even more awesome]] than their originial themes.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3FJ4hZHrp8 Every]][[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FA9wNoDvKLY thing]] Wrestling/JeffHardy [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjLK4AW3tKk has]] [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IIhRwOeIHjo ever]] [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MgwWzUW9yI4 used]].
* It may be a [[SuspiciouslySimilarSong a bit inspired]] by Queen's general sound, but [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_YAzkR-VZ6g Curt Hennig's TNA theme]] is the ultimate mix of NarmCharm and epic.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7pES3Vmou5E The theme song]] of Winter (formerly WWE's Katie Lea Burchill) is quite possibly the best theme song in the entire Knockout division.
* Frankly, any time that Dale Oliver is given carte blanche and doesn't have to try and do a SuspiciouslySimilarSong version of a wrestler's previous theme, he can be pretty impressive.
* [[EarWorm We are, we are, Fortune Four! We are, we are, Fortune Four!]] [[BadassBoast We 'bout to change some thangs!]] [[http://youtu.be/AF5USlhkTg8 We 'bout to change some thangs!]]
* Wrestling/GailKim 's new theme since returning in 2011 as a dual champion AlphaBitch heel knockout from hell, "Puppet on a String". The "DAH DAH '''DAH'''! DAH DAH '''DAH'''!" guitar crush combined with the ominous string accompaniment just says [[SquashMatch "You're about to be epically trounced."]] to any opponent, and considering her long title reign, that's usually the case.
* Sting's most recent [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bCF9-FvaR7k theme]]. The crowd goes nuts anytime this starts up.
** For that matter, Sting's RealSongThemeTune [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQsFNhQYqzQ from Final Resolution 2006]]. Despite being made five years prior to his using it, it feels like it was practically made for the man.
* Ladies and gentlemen… [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NIt3KLsWxGA E. C. 3.]]
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-kLF2Mx6IY MVP's new theme]] is strictly the bomb. Suspenseful intro, powerful sound, and arguably the best hip hop vocals of any pro wrestler. What's more, Dale Oliver had nothing to do with this one, it was [[DoItYourselfThemeTune all MVP]].
* While simple, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c2MFnOUnIJ8 Tomko's]] theme definitely set the tone for him coming out and kicking ass.
* Eric Young's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtYO684sZc4 theme]] [[SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic music]] deserves a mention. One Website/{{YouTube}}r even commented on it saying that it's hard NOT to bang your head to it.

[[AC:Other]]
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=josQgndpRS0 AFI's Miseria Cantare]], Wrestling/CMPunk's Ring of Honor theme. Say what you will about [=ROHbots=], there's nothing like having them smack the barricades in unison to the beat of the opening drum fill.
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tt_ro2aerQg Europe's The Final Countdown]], Wrestling/BryanDanielson's ROH theme.
** Four words: [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwdNtqAbJxY The. Champ. Is. Here.]]
** (Wrestling/JimmyJacobs) [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FYbOcmh7Qc Cruel and cold.. I stand alone.. outside, waiting for a girl...]]
*** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gfxZsAge2Jc How could we forget the original?]]
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qke-5HbT-CE Kevin Steen's]] new theme can give the classic ROH themes a run for their money.
* American Wolves, Barrie Gledden says [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mLoBH2VpO1M The hunt is on.]]
* Cody B. Ware's got a song dedicated to [[Wrestling/ChrisHero Hero]], Wrestling/{{Claudio| Castagnoli}}, The Ace and [[Wrestling/SaraDelRey the Queen]]! [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRVaKcrkQRw K! O! W! KINGS~!]]
* Also in Japan, somebody decided to give pro wrestler/kickboxer/cultural icon Bob Sapp the chance to record a song. [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ceCRgf5tf0g The results]] are [[SoBadItsGood awesomely horrible. Or horribly awesome.]] You decide!
** Speaking of Bob Sapp: [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Wq0YdbHlxo it takes a real man to make Madonna's "Holiday" an awesome entrance theme.]]
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swB43vKqteI Grand Sword]], the theme of Wrestling/ProWrestlingNOAH's Kenta Kobashi. If [[Anime/TengenToppaGurrenLagann Kamina]] was a professional wrestler, this would be his theme.
** His [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRwxcgU5rgc Blazin']] theme is pretty epic in its own right. But nothing beats Grand Sword.
* The Fabulous Freebirds used Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Freebird" for its entrance music during their NWA era.
** And when the promoters no longer wanted to keep paying for the rights, Michael Hayes then promptly went and recorded the equally awesome [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=emKxRo1a3cs Badstreet U.S.A.]] as a replacement theme.
* He ain't no wrestler, but Vitali Klitschko won 3 World Heavyweight Boxing Titles. He refused [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NXqEMuXGK08 this piece Rammstein wrote for him]] as an entry song because he felt it was too hard. In order to settle on [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZrCw8po7JKo that one]].
* And then there is the Theme of [[Wrestling/JushinThunderLiger Jushin Lyger]] taken from a anime the gimmick is based on which is just pure awesomeness. [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wqq2eWbN-vs IKARI NO JUSHIN LIGAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!]]
* The now and forever legendary Wrestling/MitsuharuMisawa came out to [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ep7P7NygkkY this gem.]]
* Before Chuck Norris Facts, there was [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ZD3FAUqJEg Aja Kong's entrance theme, "Jungle Emperor"]]:
--> God got up one morning, He was in an ugly mood,
--> He was sick of floods and plagues, He wanted something really rude,
--> He made a big pirahna out of broken glass and glue,
--> Then He gave her two legs and a nasty attitude.
-->
--> Well, the Sahara was a jungle 'till she ripped out all the trees,
--> Then she looked up at the mountaintops, they all began to freeze,
--> The sun gave her a cold until she set it on fire,
--> You can see her for yourself if you think that I'm a liar!
-->
--> God made the Devil just for fun,
--> When He wanted the real thing, He made Wrestling/AjaKong!
* [[GorgeousGeorge "Exotic" Adrian Street]] had his own take on the [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8bhLK6XPKCs badass boast]].
-->I can tear a telephone directory in two
-->Bending iron bars is something else that I can do
-->I always pick my teeth with the nearest billiard cue
-->So imagine what I could do to you...
* Back on the Wrestling/{{N|ational Wrestling Alliance}}WA, when they started out, Wrestling/TheRoadWarriors used Music/BlackSabbath's "Iron Man" as their theme, and never failed to blow the roof off the arena when they did. Even after the promoter decided to stop paying for the rights, they used [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wK0LkY1v3Q4 a generic clone called "We Are Iron Man"]] that was probably close enough that Ozzy could have sued over it.
* Wrestling/DragonGate's Genki Horiguchi's themes. His first was [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLpVnnhd6Gw Digi Demonia]], and the {{leitmotif}} from Digi Demonia was remixed during his first heel turn into [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5mkLa1cABA GO TO HELL]]. After he turned back to Face, GO TO HELL was remixed into GO 2 HEAVEN.
* The video game ''WWF Attitude'' included, as one of its stock themes, a title called "[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1RywiDih8k Crimson Grin]]". Let's put it this way. Every kid with a wrestling game with a CAW mode has made a bloodthirsty demonic heel to be Kane turned UpToEleven... and in Attitude, it's a safe bet to say most of them used Crimson Grin as their theme. Actually, for an otherwise mediocre game, Attitude had a lot of great generic themes, although they tend to be hard to find even on Youtube...
* Ayako Hamada's ARSION theme, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFSbc1v5yLI "Cruz"]]
* Kaientai's theme in Wrestling/MichinokuProWrestling, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCctokeqWyo "Entre Dos Tierras" by Heroes Del Silencio]]. It may be in Spanish, which would seem to make it an odd fit for Japanese wrestling, but Awesome is the universal language.
* Wrestling/DragonGate's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uzuiYY8jbRk Dragon Storm 2007]], with bonus points for the cool anime opening... and then there's JAMProject's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFLxYMrJWF8 version.]]
* Las Cacchoras Orientales' (Mima Shimoda and Etsuko Mita) [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YEwgwSlbCoE "The Sensation"]]
* Stradling the line between this and the Video games section is Jimmy Hart's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpSFJalnPn4 "Legends of Wrestling"]] theme.
* Wrestling/SatoshiKojima's old theme [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ad1myHKue_8 "Rush!"]] with its amazing opening lead-in.
* Yumiko Hotta's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRM28bv0DPQ "Assault Machine"]].
* Kyoko Inoue's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1JVoTHrTZGo "Ready to Fight"]]
* Bull Nakano's the [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07TxNolIvpo Boss of the World]], and don't you forget it!
* nWo Japan gave us [[Wrestling/TheGreatMuta Keiji Mutoh]]'s [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pfQ7bJ8OTXc nWo Triumph]] and Masahiro Chono's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LoW_OwA0f7g nWo Crash.]]
** And when nWo Japan became Team 2000, Chono's theme morphed into [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZ7oUCsPNes Team 2000 Crash]]. ''FUCK Y'ALL NIGGAS WANNA DO?!''
* Meiko Satomura's theme [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIzjY7ZHFRw "Rock Your Life Away"]].
* D-Fix's theme, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oS63iUkXBuc "Believe"]], a song that fit the group like a glove.
* Wrestling/TAKAMichinoku's theme wants to let you know that [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3d9vF6QAnQ TAKA IS COMING...]][[PrecisionFStrike MOTHERFUCKER,]] [[BadassBoast AND HE'S GONNA KICK YOUR ASS!]]
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0J9b42jnmM Eddie Kingston's theme]] in Wrestling/{{CHIKARA}} let you know that someone was about to get their ass kicked.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YowSB2cJH1c "Ole" by The Bouncing Souls]] might as well have been '''made''' for [[Wrestling/SamiZayn El Generico]]. (The chorus is well-known as a football chant.) It's even better with a crowd chanting along.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LMcDg2HwOnM "LOUD, I WANNA HEAR IT LOUD, RIGHT BETWEEN THE EYES!"]] The late, great Wrestling/DrDeathSteveWilliams.
* The Ballard Brothers are among the top tag teams in wrestling? [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NteBcA7rjYI This theme]] will make you believe it.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dn8-4tjPxD8 "Just like the white winged dove sings the song, sounds like she's singing... BOO! BOO! BOO!]] is what greets Portia Perez every time she competes in Wrestling/{{SHIMMER}}.
** Her tag team partner in the Canadian Ninjas, Nicole Matthews, has an awesome theme too - [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oYWklAV_cwQ "Hysteria" by Muse]].
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGAzx9_jHn4 When the sun sets babyyyyy ooooonnn the avenue!]]. Just try to resist getting up and cheering for the Blossom Twins as they make their entrance.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pj7ImZdV4Tg Kazuchika Okada's new theme]] from Wrestling/NewJapanProWrestling, Rainmaker, is fantastic. RAINMAKER!
* From NJPW, we have [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lO4yNj6g8n8 Subconcious]], the theme song for the flamboyant "King of Strong Style", Shinsuke Nakamura.
* Wrestling/MinoruSuzuki from NJPW might be a hard hitting brawler and former MMA fighter, but his theme song is, surprisingly, a light (and awesome) J-Rock song, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iybuD6CbfzE Kazu Ni Nare]], by Ayumi Nakumura.
* The theme of El Mega Triple Campeon de Wrestling/{{AAA}}, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9MMZEl5cUI Lux Aeterna]]. It's slightly more lively than you'd expect a zombie's theme to be but it makes for great intros.
* Black Dynamite's NJPW theme, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJhkH0gm5bQ Ghetto Strong Style]]. Yet another reason no one will ever forget ''that'' line Booker T said in WCW.
* Welcome to the [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZ2SO2FtMQY Bullet Club.]]
* Dance away! reDRagon[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i2PKX4T8nPs 'll give you a reason!]]
* Caprice Coleman's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-g72DQ4-MPo More Than a Conqueror!]] He and Cedric Alexander are working [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Q8aT3Y4OgE overtime!]]
