aka: Moon Knight 2022

Go To

The Disney+ TV Series have some good music as well. Due to some series being multi-season, we split the TV series into its own page.

Series that debuted on Phase 4, 5, and 6 belong here.

General

Series debuting in Phase 4

  • What If...?:
    • The first trailer's theme is a mysterious and transcendent theme that just makes you want to explore the MCU's endless alternate timelines with Uatu.
    • The show's main theme increases anticipation for the stories Uatu the Watcher is about to reveal with its stirring, mysterious melodic line climaxing and increasing in loudness to set the tone of the show.
  • Hawkeye:
  • Moon Knight:
    • The trailer is set to a remix of "Day 'N' Nite" by Kid Cudi. The new, creepily ambient music combined with the original song's surreal and somber lyrics capture the feel of Moon Knight perfectly.
    • "Every Grain of Sand" by Bob Dylan plays as we're first introduced to Arthur Harrow, with the lyrics really playing on his role as a devout cult leader who cares very much about his cause.
    • Engelbert Humperdinck's "A Man Without Love" is heard as we're introduced to Steven Grant, which emphasizes the show's London setting while simultaneously invoking the feelings of loneliness Steven feels in his day-to-day life.
    • The credits theme for the second episode, "El Melouk" by Ahmed Saad, is a bombastic Egyptian mahraganat song that suits the show's new setting going forward.
    • The main theme for the series, composed by Hesham Nazih, perfectly captures the dread and terror that is Moon Knight himself, all while sounding epically powerful as any superhero theme would. The usage of ominous chanting from the choir also fits the whole Egyptian mythology motif the show has to offer. "Constellation" is a triumphant rearrangement of the theme, playing during the scene of Khonshu and Steven winding back the night sky into thousands of years past to locate Ammit's tomb.
    • The Stinger of the first season makes great use of "My Way of Life" by Frank Sinatra, which makes Jake Lockley's execution of Arthur Harrow all the more dramatic and satisfying.
  • Ms. Marvel:
    • The first trailer uses a remix of "Blinding Lights" by The Weeknd, which accompanied by the trippy neon visuals perfectly immerses the viewer into Kamala's world while also accurately describing her new powers. And then it actually played in the first episode, with the opening synths somehow fitting very well with the Marvel Studios logo.
    • Kamala's first showdown with the Clandestine is set to Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer", which in addition to fusing perfectly with the beats of the fight is a perfect nod to the show's Joisey setting.
  • She-Hulk: Attorney at Law:
    • Episode 4 uses the hilariously crude "Zoom" by Jessi as Jen resorts to creating a profile as She-Hulk in order to get dates. The lyrics are especially funny if you understand Korean.
"I see you looking at my P-I-C / keuge danggyeo danggyeo jom deo danggyeobwa bwa gittongchajinote "
    • Episode 4 also includes "Body" by Megan Thee Stallion in its infamous twerking PCS... regardless of what you think of the scene itself, the song is pretty catchy, and it's easy to understand how the two women were vibing to it to easily.
    • Episode 7 opens with a montage of Jen dating Josh as "Now I'm In It" by Haim plays in the background, striking a note of cautious optimism as Jen tries to put herself out there again without relying on She-Hulk.
    • Episode 8 gives Daredevil a new leitmotif for the show that harkens back to the music of Joe Paesano from the Netflix series while also adding its own unique touches.
