Awesome Music / Friday Night Funkin': Mario's Madness

Go To

Since this is a Mod for Friday Night Funkin', it should be expected that there will be plenty of bops to listen to.

  • The remaster of "It's-A-Me" came as a shock to many fans for rebuilding the seemingly inconsequential original into a rock-based banger of a tune that is sure to set the tone of the mod and the Big Bad. This cemented that this Mario horror version was not to be trifled with.
  • "Starman Slaughter" is an epic rock track that squeezes in some of the classic Mario whimsy into its tune, especially with John Dick's trumpet section.
  • "So Cool" is a laid-back synth-wave track that perfectly fits the style of Chris Pratt which picks up the pace a little toward the end.
  • The remaster of "Alone" has been well-received by players for improving on what was originally considered to be the worst song in V1. The remaster doubles down on the Sad Battle Music, making it a solemn yet astounding piece that incorporates leitmotifs from Luigi's Mansion.
  • "Bad Day" brings back the nostalgia of old Newgrounds flash animations with its music as well as a remix of Avicii's "Levels" at the halfway mark, referencing a famous remix based on Super Mario World as well.
  • "Golden Land" opens with a simplistic cover of the original theme but quickly turns into an intense metal theme when GB reveals his true form. The V2 version of it is more bitcrushed, but still gives a new spin on the original while sounding more intense.
  • "No Party" starts out slow and creepy, but soon starts to shift between that a bombastic swing tune, climaxing in a guitar solo as you have to trace out the word "criminal".
  • "PARANOIA" is one of the most intense sounding songs of the mod, made to put both BF and the player on their toes. Mr. Virtual's bitcrushedly deep voice complements the instrumental's desire to drive you mad, and once the assimilated Girlfriend is introduced, the song's tone shifts, and it sounds like it has succesfully entered BF's mind, giving it one of the most intense climaxes of the whole mod.
  • "Overdue" serves a change of pace by introducing Pico's bassy voice as well as Mr. L's deep and intense vocals, with the instrumental of the song especially epic.
  • "POWERDOWN" is a menacing and aggressive bit-crushed tempo that has MX towering over BF and GF with sound effects from the original Super Mario Bros. echoing in the background. The end when MX kills GF manages to convey a sense of anguish from BF's vocals coupled with the pace of the music.
  • "DEMISE" is a fast-paced chase theme that has BF running for his life from MX, both of them spitting hateful barbs at each other. There is a brief pause when GF pulls her Big Damn Heroes moment before the music picks back up for the final bit when MX jumps back out of the pit.
  • "All-Stars" doesn't disappoint in terms of being a final song and Boyfriend's Defiant to the End Last Stand against M in his Ultra Form, being a frenetic and intense composition that pits Boyfriend against various puppets of M. The song briefly transitioning into Sad Battle Music with actual lyrics during Act 3 before culminating in Boyfriend's final showdown against Ultra M in Act 4 is what truly takes the cake.
  • "Unbeatable" is a 10-minute banger that incorporates the intimidating sound of the commercial and turns it into an intense chiptune tune, with four distinct voices that separate the song. Special mention goes to the fourth act that kicks the song into high gear for the finale, with both Boyfriend and the commercial gang getting their own epic moments.
