• Any of the victories in the game are awesome, especially versus Seto Kaiba.
• The pre-battle banter with Bandit Keith is some of the most epic trash-talking in the entirety of Yu-Gi-Oh.
  Bandit Keith: Hey kid! I'm your next opponent, the great Bandit Keith! I'm the former American champ! There's no way a snot-nosed punk like you can beat me!
  Yami Yugi: Heh... if you're the former American champion, that means you're not the champion anymore, right?
  Keith: Shut your mouth, runt! I'm warnin' ya! Dissin' me is gonna be hazardous to your health!
  Yami Yugi: How dare you call yourself a champion! You've always dueled without pride or honor, cheating every chance you get. You've fallen far, Bandit Keith. So far that you're nothing more than a failure!
  Keith: Grr...I'll make you eat your words! You're about to feel the greatest pain you've ever felt in your life!
  • Winning against Keith is just as cool.
  Bandit Keith: N-no way...! I've beaten tougher opponents than you! How could I lose!?
  Yami Yugi: This duel was over before it began when you decided to fight without honor.
  Keith: What do you know... Drill this into your head. Next time, I will get my revenge.
  Yami Yugi: Good bye, and good riddance, Bandit Keith!
  • Losing to him gives Keith an awesome moment.
  Bandit Keith: I'm the big winner, kid!
  Yami Yugi: How could I lose to him...?!
  Keith: This duel was over before it started. I don't plan on losing to anybody! I'm sick of looking at ya, all groveling like a sick puppy... Get outta my face!
  Yami Yugi: Grr...
  Keith: Ha ha ha! Ah ha ha ha ha!
• If you lose your first match with Seto Kaiba, his comments are so scathing that he renders Yami Yugi speechless.
• Defeating Yami Marik for the second time will have Yami Yugi banish him to the shadows after the fight, complete with sound effects.
• When fighting Seto Kaiba, if you make him lose half of his monsters, this conversation occurs.
  Yami Yugi: Kaiba, you're running out of monsters, but I'm not running out of momentum! I will destroy them all!
  Kaiba: Ha ha... Go ahead and try! But I won't make it easy for you, Yugi. My strategy for winning this duel is better than you think... In fact, it's perfect!
• Destroying one (and half) of an opponent's monsters will result in a conversation. Seto Kaiba's is particularly epic.
  Yami Yugi: Heh... What are you going to do now, Kaiba?
  Kaiba: What am I going to do now? What do you think I'm going to do now!? I'm going to defeat you, of course!
• It's possible to take out the strongest monsters in the game with the weakest ones if you level them up enough. Taking down Kaiba's Blue-Eyes White Dragon with a Happy Lover is both awesome and funny.
