Added DiffLines:

* During the duel with Turbo's cy-bug form, Ralph faces someone stronger than him for the first time in his life and struggles a lot because of it. But he still manages to fight smart, go under the savage beast and casually ''throw'' it far away, which allows him to nearly activate the beacon.

*** The Annies actually have awards like "Best Director" and "Best Musical Score", whereas the Oscars treat animation like the kiddie table at Thanksgiving - no categorical awards, just "Best Animated Feature" overall, as if animation is a genre rather than a medium. * The way Calhoun reacts when Felix kisses her on the cheek is absolute perfection. She's startled at first, then grabs Felix by the front of his shirt, glaring at him as if she's gonna kill him, but then that little smirk on her face, you could almost hear her saying, in her military voice, "is '''that''' what you call a kiss, maggot?!" before proceeding to teach Felix what a ''real'' kiss is!

** FridgeBrilliance in that this scene also ties into Ralph's 'villainous backstory' from his game. As it goes, the entire reason he's wrecking the building in his game is because a construction company forced him from his land to build it, but instead of letting it go, he gets mad and starts to wreck the building and take his land back by force. Ralph just isn't the kind of guy to stand by when he sees injustice happen, he's the kind to get angry and take action.

* For that matter, the rescue is a MomentOfAwesome in its own right, Ralph has hit the Mentos and looks stunned, soft music plays as he falls in slow motion, and then BAM, the music picks up and Vanellope is using her glitching to boost herself along the track for a last minute save. It would take a person with a soul of ice not to cheer.

** The Annie Awards are probably like Oscars for animated movies. Despite the equally-huge competition from {{WesternAnimation/Brave}} and WesternAnimation/RiseOfTheGuardians, the movie won about ''half'' out of the ten it was nominated for, while the other animated movies got no more than two each. Very impressive in itself.
