Total Shuffled Island
- DJ managing to jump off the cliff in the first episode, in contrast to his canonical cowardice.
- Sammy managing to outlast Amy in the competition- twice. Amy is dragged off the island in a frothy rage while Sammy is congratulated by her friends.
- Shawn manages to win the season due to a burst of adrenaline from seeing a "zombified"note Scott coming towards him.
Total Shuffled Action
- After the disaster challenge winds up breaking B's shoulder, the Silent Giant is able to come to a settlement with the lawyers: In exchange for not suing the show, he's readmitted back into the game, he's able to have a dinner with the staff once during the season, the other contestants aren't permitted to purposefully agitate his shoulder, and even if he loses, he'll get $10,000.
- Jo has a lot of these fitting her Character Development. To name a few, she survives the longest in the Vomit Comet, yanks the zipline away from Amy to get all of the contestants out of a note exploding building, and manages to tame and befriend a bear for her animal buddy challenge, the latter placing her in the finals. She even high fives the bear for helping her out!
- Jo manages to get Lightning as her ally in the Final 3. While both of them are still aiming to win, neither of them can stand Scarlett's cheating.
- Both finalist endings deserve a mention. In Scarlett's, she manages to knock out most of the competition that could've posed a threat, including Chef and Lightning, procure herself the million dollars from the wreckage of the Aftermath set, accrue additional billions from ransoming both Chris and Dakota, and crushing the person who she perceived to have cheated her out of the million dollars in the Total Drama Island special. In Jo's, she tags along with Chris in the helicopter, jumps out onto the animatronic monster Scarlett is controlling, rallies other members of the Peanut Gallery into fighting, uses her wooden doorstop to tear open the animatronic's skin and jam the its machinery, tackles Scarlett when she's distracted by Chris's arrival, punches Scarlett in the eye, and ultimately grabs control of the remote and smashes it to bits, tying the crazed runner-up with her own hair afterwards.
- Other contestants also get their time to shine in Jo's ending: Sugar attacks the mechanical monster's leg, Alejandro, Geoff, Bridgette, Beardo and Shawn manage to hold up a couch to fend off the animatronic monster's hand from reaching the USB drive, and Lightning pries the monster's mouth open himself.
