  • Veruca's father having enough of his daughter's tantrums after he escapes the furnace along with Veruca and Jerry, standing up for himself with an implication of him planning to punish his bratty daughter while dragging her by the ear.
Veruca: I want you to take me home and buy me my own chocolate factory, Daddy!
(Veruca's father gets up and finally stands his ground)
Veruca's father: No! (pulls on Veruca's ear) You're lucky neither of us were burn to a crisp. You're going to learn some discipline when we get home, Ms. Salt.
  • Tuffy reciting the poem in the infamous boat scene. The fact that it's in the film at all, and not only uncensored but bordering on being creepier than the original, is just amazing.
  • This had one thing the original didn’t have: A final showdown with Slugworth.
