• While his Intercontinental and Tag Team championships certainly qualify, his appearance in Survivor Series 1990 deserves mention here: by this time, Santana was not one of the "main event" superstars, yet he still managed to qualify for the Grand Finale survivor match, teaming up with Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior against Ted DiBiase, Rick Martel, Warlord, Hercules, and Paul Roma. While Santana did get eliminated, he was able to eliminate Warlord first.
• Tito's match against "Ravishing" Rick Rude was a ten-minute clinic and an awesome moment for both of them, but Tito gets a special mention by stealing Rude's schtick. When Bobby Heenan brings a woman into the ring for Rude's post-match kiss, Tito runs back in, dropkicks Rude right in the face, tosses him out of the ring, kisses the woman himself and does Rude's swiveling-hips dance, all to Rude's and Heenan's embarrassment. Notably, the woman in question was Tito's real-life wife.
