All spoilers on this page are left unmarked. You Have Been Warned!

  • It may have been his Start of Darkness, but Gorr killing Rapu after he first possesses the Necrosword, right after Rapu shattered Gorr's faith in him and all gods with his callous refusal to help Gorr after the loss of his daughter, is nothing short of cathartic.
    • Gorr's modus operandi is summed up with one hell of a Badass Boast (which is heard in the trailers). And Christian Bale's delivery is so final:
Gorr: So this is my vow; all gods will die.
  • Thor and the Guardians (mostly Thor) fighting against a group of invaders while "Welcome to the Jungle" is playing in the background.
  • The introduction of Jane as Mighty Thor as she flings Mjolnir around the battlefield. At first, it looks like the hammer has been repaired, then it splits apart into its fragments with each fragment independently attacking shadow beasts before reforming in Mighty Thor's hand. Hela shattering Mjolnir just ultimately made it stronger.
  • The battle between Thor, Valkyrie, Jane, and Korg against Zeus and his guards. It turns out they're so strong combined that they shower the stage and themselves with golden god blood, with Thor using his energy chains to cut down guards before he ever gets a weapon. After Zeus blows Korg apart with his lightning bolt, Thor catches it when thrown at him and hurls it back hard enough to go right through Zeus' chest and lodge in the gong behind him. And for the cherry on top, Thor throws Zeus' previous boast right back in his face for good measure.
"That is the sound of lightning."
  • The fight of Thor, Valkyrie, and Jane against Gorr in the Shadow Realm. The visuals are absolutely stunning and Gorr proves worthy of his new title as "the God Butcher".
  • The goats of Thor prove their worth:
    • During the fight in Omnipotence City, Korg summons them as the Cavalry and they burst in and get their masters out.
    • Korg is left vulnerable on the ground in the Shadow Realm. As a beast is about to crush him, one of the goats butts it away while the other picks him up in its mouth and carries him to safety.
  • Thor empowers the children of Asgard to fight Gorr's shadow monsters. Cue a massive ass-kicking charge by the kids. Including one girl shooting lightning bolts out of a stuffed bunny rabbit's eyes.
Thor: Whosoever holds these weapons, and believes in getting home, if they be true of heart is therefore worthy, and shall possess, for limited time only, the power... OF THOR!
  • Jane's Big Damn Heroes moment, arriving just in time to save Thor during the Final Battle, while riding an Asgardian Pegasus, making her literally The Cavalry.
    • Her genius improvisation when the shattered Necrosword begins reassembling itself. She triggers her scatter attack with the hammer, but rather than attacking Gorr she captures the blade's fragments and binds them inside Mjølnir's head. She then fully charges the hammer with lightning and slams the ground, destroying the trapped fragments and the Necrosword with them.
Jane: First off, the name is Mighty Thor, and secondly, If you can't say "Mighty Thor", I'll accept Doctor Jane FOSTER, and thirdly, Eat. My. HAMMER!
  • Jane's death, while sad, also reveals that not only was she worthy to wield Mjølnir, she was worthy enough to die as a god with her body dissolving into cosmic dust. She ends up reaching Valhalla.
Jane: Not bad... for a human...
Thor: [smiles proudly] Not bad for a god.
  • The ending where Gorr's daughter, Love, proves herself a worthy partner to Thor, wielding Stormbreaker in battle.
  • The Stinger, where Heimdall greets Jane, who has ended up in Valhalla after dying. For those who were saddened by Heimdall dying in Avengers: Infinity War, this marks his triumphant return (however briefly) and may even be a hint that Heimdall will play a greater role in a future MCU work.
    • In addition, we see the gold dust that Jane's body turned into reforms back into her spirit within Valhalla, showing us what happens at the other end of this.
  • Another stinger moment that is somewhat underrated: the live-action debut of Marvel's Hercules. If anyone can rival Thor in strength, it's the strongest Greek god.
