Awesome / The Mysterious Flame of Queen Loana

• Yambo demonstrating why he's a successful book dealer. He may be a huge geek and terribly awkward, but he can tell exactly what your book collection is worth and will manipulate you into selling it for even more.
• Anything involving Yambo's badass. He spends two decades tracking down Merlo, the Fascist who destroyed his newspaper business and forced him to drink castor oil. He returns the favor - and then some - exactly twenty one years later.
  • He also harbors four deserters by sealing them in his chapel and tricking the Black Brigade members that were pursuing them. He gets the passage bricked up seconds before the Black Brigade arrive, and in Genre Savvy enough to answer their questions and get them out of the house ASAP.
• Gragnola is terribly jaded and cynical, but he's also the first person that steps up to help the Cossacks escape the Germans.
• Young Yambo and his friends mastering the climb up the Gorge, just to prank the boys from the other village. Falling off means certain death, and they come close a couple of times. Yambo eventually tops that by successfully guiding Gragnola and the Cossacks through the Gorge under the cover foggy darkness with nearly zero visibility.
• It ends up being more of a Tear Jerker, but Yambo's prayer to Queen Loana is quite memorable.
